## Pricing

from $1.39 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What is Amazon Search Scraper?

**Amazon Search Scraper** is an **Amazon search results scraper and Amazon product search API alternative**. Type a keyword the way you would into the [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com) search box, pick a marketplace, and get every product on the results pages as structured data, ready for Excel, Google Sheets or your own code.

Use it to answer questions like:

- Which products rank on page 1 of Amazon for my keyword, and where does my ASIN sit?
- What are the cheapest, newest or best-selling products in a category, in the US, UK, Germany or Japan?
- Which competitors carry Best Seller, Amazon's Choice or deal badges right now?
- How many units per month do top listings sell, according to Amazon's "bought in past month" label?

The easiest way to try it: click **Start** with the example input. It searches Amazon.com for `Smart Phone` and returns page 1 in a few seconds.

### What can Amazon Search Scraper do?

- 🔎 **Keyword search on 18 Amazon stores**: United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, Japan, India, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
- ↕️ **All Amazon sort orders**: featured, price low to high, price high to low, average customer review, newest arrivals and best sellers.
- 📄 **Pagination**: up to 20 pages per run, with a start page so you can resume or skip ahead.
- 💶 **Local prices**: each store is searched from an IP address in its own country, so prices include local VAT and come in the store's currency (USD, GBP, EUR, JPY, INR and others). `product_price_value` gives the price as a number.
- 🏷️ **Badges and signals**: Best Seller, Amazon's Choice, deal labels, coupons, Prime eligibility, Climate Pledge Friendly, sponsored flag and monthly sales volume.
- 🌐 **Languages**: get titles and labels in the store's default language or another one the store supports, such as English on Amazon.de.
- ⏱️ **Runs on Apify**: [schedule](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) daily runs to track rankings and prices, call it through the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2) or [Apify MCP](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp) from an AI agent, and send results to Google Sheets, Slack, Make, Zapier or webhooks with [integrations](https://apify.com/integrations). Export as **JSON, CSV, Excel**, HTML or XML.

- **Data for AI and analytics**: feed clean product rows into dashboards, spreadsheets or LLM workflows.

### How much does it cost to scrape Amazon search results?

Amazon Search Scraper uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay for each product saved to the dataset. Searches that return nothing are not charged.

| Event | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|-------|------|--------|--------|------|
| Product scraped (per 1,000) | **$1.99** | **$1.79** | **$1.59** | **$1.39** |

The example run (1 page of Amazon.com, 16 products) costs about $0.03 on the Free plan. A 20-page run (226 products in our test) costs about $0.45 on the Free plan. You can set a maximum cost per run in the run options, and the actor stops when it is reached.

### Python and JavaScript API examples

    "sortBy": "BEST_SELLERS",
})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["page"], item["position"], item["asin"], item["product_price"], item["sales_volume"])
```
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.filter((p) => !p.is_sponsored).forEach((p) => console.log(p.asin, p.product_price_value, p.currency));
```

### FAQ

**How many products do I get per page?**
Amazon decides that per store and category: 16 to 60 products per page in our tests (for example 16 on Amazon.com for "Smart Phone", 48 to 60 on most European stores for "wireless headphones"). Amazon usually shows up to about 20 pages for broad keywords; the run stops early when Amazon has no next page.

**Are sponsored products included?**
Yes, by default, because they are part of what shoppers see. Each row has `is_sponsored`, and you can turn off **Include sponsored products** to skip them.

**Why are prices in my local currency and including VAT?**
Each marketplace is searched from an IP address in that country, so you see the same prices a local shopper sees, in the store's currency. `product_price` keeps Amazon's own formatting (`619,99 €`, `￥11,000`) and `product_price_value` is the plain number.

**Why is the price empty for some products?**
Amazon shows no price on the results page for some products, for example items that are currently unavailable or that only list prices after you choose a size or colour. `product_availability` explains the status when Amazon shows one.

**Why is `sales_volume` empty for many products?**
Amazon only shows the "bought in past month" label for some products and some stores. When Amazon does not show it, the field is empty.

**Can I get product details such as full descriptions, all images or reviews?**
This actor returns what Amazon shows on search result pages. It does not open each product page.

**Is `product_star_rating` a number?**
It is kept as text, like `"4.4"`, matching Amazon's display. Convert it with `float()` in Python or `Number()` in JavaScript.

**Do I need a proxy or an Amazon account?**
No account. Keep the default proxy setting: the actor picks a suitable Apify Proxy IP in the marketplace's country and retries with a new one when Amazon refuses a request.

**How fast is it?**
In our tests, one page took about 4 to 10 seconds and 20 pages of Amazon.com took about 80 seconds.

**Can I schedule runs and connect other tools?**
Yes. Use [Apify Schedules](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) for recurring runs and [integrations](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations) for Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n, Slack or webhooks.

**Something is missing or broken?**
Open an issue in the **Issues** tab. We read every report and fix problems quickly.

### Is it legal to scrape Amazon search results?

Amazon Search Scraper only collects information that Amazon shows to any visitor without logging in: public product listings, prices, ratings and badges. It does not log in, place orders or collect personal data about shoppers. You should still check Amazon's conditions of use and make sure your use of the data is lawful in your country; if you are unsure, ask a lawyer. Read more in Apify's blog post [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/).

# Actor input Schema

## `query` (type: `string`):

Enter what you would type into the Amazon search box, for example <code>Smart Phone</code>, <code>Laptop</code> or <code>wireless headphones</code>.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Choose the Amazon store to search. Prices come back in that store's currency.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Choose the order Amazon sorts results in, the same as the 'Sort by' menu on Amazon.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Set how many result pages to scrape (1–20). Amazon shows 16 to 60 products per page depending on the category and store, and stops after its last page.

## `startPage` (type: `integer`):

Start from this result page, for example 3 to skip the first two pages.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Show titles and labels in this language. Leave empty for the store's default language. Each store supports only some languages; others are ignored by Amazon.

## `includeSponsored` (type: `boolean`):

Keep sponsored (ad) results. Each row has <code>is_sponsored</code> so you can filter them later.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Amazon blocks many data-center IP addresses. The default Apify Proxy setting works for most runs.
