## Pricing

from $2.29 / 1,000 behance profiles

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What is Behance People Scraper?

**Behance People Scraper** turns [Behance people search](https://www.behance.net/search/users) into a clean dataset. Behance is Adobe's portfolio network for designers, illustrators, photographers, 3D artists and other creatives. Type a keyword such as `mockup`, `logo designer` or `3d artist`, and the scraper returns **one structured profile per creative**, with their **location, creative fields, follower and appreciation counts, hiring availability, social links, latest projects and freelance client reviews**.

It works as a **Behance API** alternative for people data: no Behance or Adobe account and no browser needed. The easiest way to try it is to keep the example keyword, click **Start**, and download the profiles as JSON, CSV or Excel a few seconds later.

### What can Behance People Scraper do?

- 🔍 **Keyword search**: the same people search as behance.net, in any language (`дизайн`, `イラスト` and `diseño` all work).
- 🎨 **Creative field filter**: limit results to any of Behance's 110 creative fields, from Graphic Design and Illustration to UI/UX, Photography and 3D Art.
- 📍 **Location filters**: country, state or region, and city.
- ↕️ **Behance's sort options**: Recommended, Most followed, Most appreciated, Most viewed and Most recent.
- 💼 **Hiring signals**: freelance and full-time availability, remote and relocation preferences, minimum rate and hiring timeline when the creative has set them.
- ⭐ **Freelance track record**: completed Behance freelance projects with the hirer, and written client reviews with the reviewer.
- 🔗 **Contact paths**: personal website and linked social profiles (Instagram, LinkedIn, Dribbble, X, and others), each with Behance's verified flag.
- 🧹 **No duplicates**: Behance sometimes repeats people across pages; each creative is saved once.

As an Apify Actor it also gives you [scheduling](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) for recurring talent searches, a [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), [integrations](https://apify.com/integrations) with Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, Slack and webhooks, and exports to JSON, CSV, Excel, XML and HTML.

### How to use the Behance People Scraper API

Run the scraper from your own code with the [Apify API client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python). Get your token from [Apify Console → Integrations](https://console.apify.com/settings/integrations).

**Python**

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("parsebird/behance-people-scraper").call(run_input={
    "query": "illustrator",
    "maxItems": 200,
    "sort": "followed",
    "country": "DE",
})
for person in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(person["displayName"], person["url"], person["stats"]["followers"])
```

**JavaScript**

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('parsebird/behance-people-scraper').call({
    query: 'ui designer',
    maxItems: 200,
    creativeField: '132',
    country: 'US',
    city: 'San Francisco',
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((p) => console.log(p.displayName, p.url, p.availabilityInfo?.isAvailableFreelance));
```

See the [API tab](https://apify.com/parsebird/behance-people-scraper/api) for the REST endpoints, including running the scraper and getting the dataset in one call.

### Use cases

- **Recruiting and talent sourcing**: build shortlists of designers available for freelance or full-time work in a specific city or field.
- **Agency and studio scouting**: find creatives with strong followings and a proven Behance freelance record, with client reviews to read first.
- **Creator marketing**: find illustrators, 3D artists or photographers with large audiences for brand collaborations.
- **Market research**: compare how many creatives work in a field by country, and how their audiences and availability differ.
- **Lead generation for creative tools**: build lists of professionals in a niche, with their websites and linked social profiles.
- **Portfolio monitoring**: schedule a search and track new creatives or follower growth over time.

### How it works

1. The scraper opens a visitor session on behance.net, the same way a browser does.
2. It sends your keyword, filters and sort order to Behance's people search, 48 profiles per page, the same page size the website uses.
3. Each profile is saved with its stats, availability, social links, latest projects and freelance history; people Behance repeats across pages are skipped.
4. It stops at your maximum, when Behance has no more results, or when your spending limit is reached.

### How much does it cost to scrape Behance?

Behance People Scraper uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay per profile saved to the dataset, and nothing else.

| Event | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|-------|------|--------|--------|------|
| `profile-scraped`, per 1,000 profiles | **$2.99** | **$2.79** | **$2.59** | **$2.29** |

For example, 1,000 Behance profiles cost $2.99 on the Free plan, and the default 10-profile run costs about $0.03. Compute and proxy costs are included in the event price. You can set a maximum spend per run in Apify Console, and the scraper stops when it is reached.

### FAQ

**How many people can I get from one search?**
Behance shows at most about 10,000 people per search, and often fewer: the keyword `mockup` gave 3,952 unique profiles in our tests. To collect more, run several searches with different keywords, creative fields or countries.

**Does it scrape Behance projects?**
It returns each person's 4 latest projects with title, URL and cover images, as on the Behance search page. It does not open every project in a portfolio.

**Why are some fields empty or `null`?**
They are empty on the creative's Behance profile. For example, `availabilityInfo` is `null` for people who have never set their hiring availability, and `city` is empty when the profile lists only a country.

**Do State and City work on their own?**
No. Behance applies them only together with a Country. Without a country they are ignored and the scraper logs a warning.

**Does it get email addresses?**
No. Behance does not show email addresses publicly. You get the profile URL, personal website and linked social accounts.

**Do I need a Behance account or a proxy?**
No. The scraper reads public Behance data without logging in, and no proxy is needed in normal use.

**How fast is it?**
About 45 seconds for 1,000 profiles and about 3.5 minutes for 4,000 profiles on the Apify platform in our tests.

**Can I run it on a schedule or connect it to other tools?**
Yes. Use [Apify schedules](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) for recurring runs and [integrations](https://apify.com/integrations) to send results to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make or your own webhook.

**Something is missing or not working?**
Open an issue on the **Issues** tab and we will look into it.

### Is it legal to scrape Behance?

Our scrapers are ethical and do not extract any private user data, such as email addresses, gender, or location. They only extract what the user has chosen to share publicly. We therefore believe that our scrapers, when used for ethical purposes by Apify users, are safe. However, you should be aware that your results could contain personal data. Personal data is protected by the GDPR in the European Union and by other regulations around the world. You should not scrape personal data unless you have a legitimate reason to do so. If you're unsure whether your reason is legitimate, consult your lawyers. You can also read our blog post on the [legality of web scraping](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/).

```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "apify": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=fetch-actor-details,parsebird/behance-people-scraper"
        }
    }
}
```

The hosted server signs you in with OAuth on first connect, so no API token belongs in this config. Clients without OAuth support can send an `Authorization: Bearer <APIFY_API_TOKEN>` header instead, using a token from API & Integrations in Apify Console (https://console.apify.com/settings/integrations).
