## Pricing

from $2.59 / 1,000 companies

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### Clutch.co Scraper - Companies, Reviews & Buyer Leads

Clutch.co Scraper extracts **B2B service providers from Clutch.co**: agencies, software developers, IT services firms, consultants, and more. Point it at any Clutch category, location, or filtered listing, or at single company profiles. Each company comes back as one structured row with rating, pricing, size, address, phone, website, service mix, and verified legal entity, plus optional reviews, buyer leads, and contact emails.

<table><tr>
<td style="border-left:4px solid #17313B;padding:12px 16px;font-weight:600">
Turn any Clutch.co listing into a lead list with 40+ fields per company (min project size, hourly rate, employees, HQ address, phone, website, social links, service lines, industries, registered business entity, credit check), then add full client reviews, one buyer lead per review, and a contact email found on the company's own website.
</td>
</tr></table>

### What is Clutch.co Scraper?

Clutch.co Scraper is a **Clutch data extraction tool** that reads public [Clutch.co](https://clutch.co/) directory pages and company profiles and saves them as clean rows you can download or read through the API. Clutch has no public API for its directory, so this scraper works as a **Clutch API alternative** for B2B lead generation, agency research, and market mapping.

The easiest way to try it: keep the prefilled listing (`https://clutch.co/us/agencies/creative`), click **Start**, and open the dataset. You get 10 creative agencies with their ratings, pricing, team size, address, phone, website, and service mix.

No Clutch account is needed.

### What can Clutch.co Scraper do?

- 📋 **Scrape whole listings** — any category (`/agencies/branding`), location (`/web-developers/new-york`), or filtered listing (`/agencies?related_services=...`). Pages are followed automatically.
- 🏢 **Scrape single profiles** — paste `clutch.co/profile/...` links to get specific companies.
- 💰 **Pricing and size** — minimum project size, hourly rate, employee range, rating for cost, and the most common project size from reviews.
- 📍 **Contact and address** — phone, street address, city, region, postal code, country, every office location, website (the real domain, not a Clutch redirect), and social profiles.
- 🧩 **Service mix** — service lines with percentages, focus areas, industries served, client sizes, and Clutch certifications.
- 🏛️ **Legal entity and credit check** — registered business name, registry source, jurisdiction, formation date, status and registration ID, plus the Creditsafe risk level when Clutch shows them.
- ⭐ **Reviews (add-on)** — every client review with project title, services, budget, length, overall and detailed ratings, reviewer details, and the full interview (background, challenge, solution, results).
- 🎯 **Buyer leads (add-on)** — one lead per review describing the client who hired the company: company, contact role, industry, size, location, project category, and budget.
- ✉️ **Contact emails (add-on)** — visits each company's own website and picks the public contact email it lists.

Because Clutch.co Scraper runs on the Apify platform, you also get:

- ⏰ [Scheduling](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) to refresh lead lists or track competitors' reviews.
- 🔌 [API access](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2) and client libraries for Python and JavaScript.
- 🔗 [Integrations](https://apify.com/integrations) with Make, Zapier, Google Sheets, HubSpot via webhooks, Slack, and more.
- 📦 Export to JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or HTML from the Storage tab or the API.

### Use cases

- **B2B lead generation** — build lists of agencies or developers by service, city, size, and price, with phone, website, and email.
- **Agency and vendor research** — compare providers on rating, cost rating, hourly rate, minimum project size, and verified reviews.
- **Buyer intelligence** — see which companies hire agencies, in which industries, and for what budgets, from the buyer leads.
- **Competitor tracking** — follow a competitor's reviews, service mix, and certifications on a schedule.
- **Market sizing** — map how many providers serve a niche, their team sizes, and their locations.
- **Due diligence** — check a vendor's registered business entity and credit risk level before signing.

### How it works

1. Clutch.co Scraper opens each listing URL, reads the companies on the page, and follows the pages (`?page=2`, `?page=3`, …) until the listing ends or your limits are reached. Companies that appear on several pages or listings are saved once.
2. It opens each company's Clutch profile and reads the profile details, structured address data, office locations, service charts, and verification section.
3. With **Include reviews** or **Extract buyer leads**, it reads the company's review pages, 10 reviews per page.
4. With **Find contact emails**, it visits the company's website (homepage plus up to three contact or about pages) and collects the public emails it shows, including emails behind Cloudflare email protection.
5. Clutch.co sits behind Cloudflare. Requests go through Apify Proxy with browser-like fingerprints, are retried on a fresh IP when refused, and switch to Apify Residential when your plan includes it.

No AI is used at any step. Every field is read from Clutch.co or the company's own website.

### How much does it cost to scrape Clutch.co?

Clutch.co Scraper uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay per company saved, and only for the add-ons you turn on. There's no extra charge for compute or proxies.

| Event | Free plan | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|-------|-----------|--------|--------|------|
| `result` — per company saved | $0.00289 | $0.00279 | $0.00269 | $0.00259 |
| `review` — per review attached (Include reviews) | $0.00059 | $0.00059 | $0.00059 | $0.00059 |
| `buyer-lead` — per buyer lead (Extract buyer leads) | $0.00249 | $0.00249 | $0.00249 | $0.00249 |
| `contact` — per company with an email found (Find contact emails) | $0.00099 | $0.00099 | $0.00099 | $0.00099 |

Per 1,000: companies **$2.89** (Free) to **$2.59** (Gold), reviews **$0.59**, buyer leads **$2.49**, emails **$0.99**.

For example, 100 companies cost $0.29 on the Free plan. With emails on, add up to $0.10, and you pay only for the companies where an email is found. With reviews on and an average of 20 reviews per company, add $1.18. Use **Max reviews per company**, **Max cost (USD)**, or a [spending limit](https://docs.apify.com/platform/actors/running/usage-and-resources) to keep runs within budget. Apify's Free plan includes monthly platform credits you can use to try the scraper.

### Is it legal to scrape Clutch.co?

Clutch.co Scraper only reads pages that Clutch shows publicly to logged-out visitors, and, for the email add-on, public pages of the companies' own websites. Company profiles are business information, but reviews and buyer leads can include people's names and job titles, which can be personal data. Make sure your use complies with data protection laws such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM, Clutch's terms, and other rules that apply to you, and consult a lawyer if in doubt. ### FAQ

**Do I need a Clutch account?**
No. Clutch.co Scraper reads public pages without logging in.

**Which URLs can I use?**
Any Clutch.co listing (category, location, or a listing with filters applied, such as `https://clutch.co/agencies?related_services=...`) and any company profile (`https://clutch.co/profile/...`). Add `?page=N` to a listing URL to start from that page.

**Why do I get fewer companies than the listing has cards?**
Clutch shows some companies more than once (sponsored slots repeat across pages), and the scraper saves each company once per run. In testing, a 2-page Anchorage video production listing had 93 cards and 57 unique companies, and all 57 were saved.

**Are all reviews included?**
Yes, unless you set **Max reviews per company**. In testing, the number of reviews collected matched Clutch's review count for every company.

**How are buyer leads different from reviews?**
A buyer lead is a short summary of one review from the buyer's side: the client company, the reviewer's role, industry, size, location, and the project's category, budget, and length. Reviews contain the full text and detailed ratings. Clutch lets reviewers stay anonymous, so `buyerContactName` is empty for those reviews and some company names are descriptions such as "Software Company".

**How often is a contact email found?**
It depends on whether the company lists an email on its website. Many agencies use only contact forms. In a 60-company test of IT services firms, emails were found for 35. You're charged only when an email is found.

**Does it use AI?**
No. All data comes straight from Clutch.co and the companies' websites. Clutch's generated summaries and "Reviews mention" highlights are not included.

**Which proxy should I use?**
Keep the default Apify Proxy. Clutch.co is behind Cloudflare, and in testing the default datacenter proxy gave the most reliable runs, while a Residential-only run was refused far more often. Refused requests are retried on fresh IPs, and Apify Residential is tried as a fallback when your plan includes it.

**Can I schedule runs and connect them to my CRM?**
Yes. Use [Apify schedules](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) and send results to Google Sheets, Make, Zapier, or your CRM through [integrations](https://apify.com/integrations) and webhooks.

**Something isn't working. Where do I report it?**
Open an issue on the [Issues tab](https://apify.com/parsebird/clutch-scraper/issues) with your run ID.

## `maxItemsTotal` (type: `integer`):

Companies to save across all start URLs. 0 = no limit. Max companies per start URL still applies.

## `includeCompanyReviews` (type: `boolean`):

Add every client review to each company as a `reviews` array: project title, services, budget, length, overall and detailed ratings, the reviewer's role, company, industry, location and size, and the full interview text. Charged per review.

## `maxReviewsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Cap on reviews read per company for reviews and buyer leads (in Clutch's order, 10 per page). 0 = all reviews.

## `extractBuyerLeads` (type: `boolean`):

Turn each review into a `buyerLeads` entry describing the client who hired the company: company, contact role, industry, size, location, project category, budget and length. Charged per lead.

## `enrichEmails` (type: `boolean`):

Visit each company's own website (homepage plus up to 3 contact or about pages) and add the public contact email found there as `contactEmail`, with `contactWebsite` and every email found in `emailEnrichment`. Charged only when an email is found.

## `maxCostUsd` (type: `integer`):

Stop the run once this run's charges (companies plus add-ons) reach this amount. 0 = no cap. You can also set a Maximum total charge in the run options.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Company profiles fetched in parallel (1-20).

## `proxy` (type: `object`):

Clutch.co is protected by Cloudflare. Keep the default Apify Proxy, which was the most reliable in testing; refused requests are retried on fresh IPs, and Apify Residential is tried as a fallback when your plan includes it.

Clients without OAuth support can send an `Authorization: Bearer <APIFY_API_TOKEN>` header instead, using a token from API & Integrations in Apify Console (https://console.apify.com/settings/integrations).
