## Pricing

from $2.29 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What is GOG Game Scraper?

[GOG.com](https://www.gog.com) is a digital game store known for classic PC games and DRM-free downloads. When we checked the US store in October 2026, it listed **12,902 products**: 6,499 games, 1,764 bundles, and 4,639 DLCs.

**GOG Game Scraper** turns the GOG store into a dataset. Search by keyword, paste a GOG URL, or pick filters and let it walk the catalog. It's a simple **GOG API alternative**: you don't need an account, an API key, or any code.

- 🔎 **Keyword search.** Search GOG for any title, franchise, or theme. Each keyword is searched separately, and a product is never saved twice.
- 🔗 **GOG URLs.** Paste a browse page with its filters, like `gog.com/en/games?genres=rpg&tags=indie`, or a single game page.
- 🎛️ **All store filters.** Genre, tag, OS, game language, features, product type, release status, discount, price range, and release year, applied by GOG itself, so you're never charged for products that get filtered out.
- 🌍 **63 regional stores.** Read prices and discounts from any of 63 country stores, in the local currency or another currency GOG sells in for that country.
- 🧾 **Full game details.** System requirements for each OS, audio and subtitle languages, ESRB, PEGI, USK, and Brazilian age ratings, series, install size, trailers, bonus goodies, and DLC lists.
- 🗂️ **The whole store.** Leave keywords empty and set no limit to collect every product. GOG serves at most 10,000 results per search, so the Actor splits large runs by product type to get all of them.
- 📅 **Scheduling and monitoring.** Run daily with [Apify Schedules](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) to track price drops and new releases.
- 🔌 **API and integrations.** Use the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), or send results to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, Slack, or webhooks with [Apify integrations](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations).

### How to scrape GOG games

1. Open [GOG Game Scraper](https://apify.com/parsebird/gog-game-scraper) on Apify Store and click **Try for free**.
2. Enter **Search keywords**, like `witcher` or `cyberpunk`, or paste **GOG store addresses**.
3. Optionally add **Filters**: genres, tags, operating systems, languages, discount, price range, or release years.
4. Pick a **Store country** and **Currency** if you need regional prices.
5. Set **Max products per keyword or address**, or `0` for no limit.
6. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
7. Download the data as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or HTML from the **Output** tab, or read it with the API.

### How much does it cost to scrape GOG?

GOG Game Scraper uses **pay-per-event** pricing. You pay for each product saved to the dataset. Compute costs are included in the event price, and full game details don't cost extra.

| Event | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|-------|------|--------|--------|------|
| `product-scraped` (per product) | $0.00279 | $0.00259 | $0.00249 | $0.00229 |
| Per 1,000 products | **$2.79** | **$2.59** | **$2.49** | **$2.29** |

For example, 100 games cost about $0.28 on the Free plan, and the whole 12,902-product US store costs about $36. You can set a maximum cost per run in Apify Console, and the Actor stops when it's reached.

client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("parsebird/gog-game-scraper").call(run_input={
    "searchQueries": ["witcher"],
    "discountedOnly": True,
    "country": "GB",
    "maxResults": 100,
})

for product in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(product["title"], product["priceFinal"], product["currency"], product["discountPercent"])
```
**JavaScript**
```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';

const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('parsebird/gog-game-scraper').call({
    genres: ['strategy'],
    sortBy: 'desc:reviewsRating',
    maxResults: 200,
});

const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((game) => console.log(game.title, game.rating, game.priceFinal));
```
You can also start runs over plain HTTP from the [API tab](https://apify.com/parsebird/gog-game-scraper/api), or connect the Actor to AI agents through the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp).
### Use cases
- **Price tracking.** Schedule daily runs to catch GOG sales and compare discounts over time.
- **Regional price comparison.** Run the same search in several country stores and compare prices in local currencies.
- **Game databases and catalogs.** Build or enrich a game database with genres, tags, ratings, requirements, and age ratings.
- **Market research.** Analyze which genres, publishers, or price points do well on GOG.
- **Deal sites and newsletters.** Feed discounted games, prices, and cover images into your own site or newsletter.
- **Compatibility checks.** Find games that run on Linux or macOS, or that support a specific language.
### How it works
1. The Actor reads the same product catalog that powers the gog.com store, with your filters, sort order, country, currency, and language.
2. It pages through results until it reaches your limit. When a search has more than 10,000 products, it splits it by product type so nothing is cut off.
3. With **Include full game details** on, it opens each product's GOG data to add requirements, languages, descriptions, age ratings, videos, goodies, and DLCs.
4. Each product is saved once per run, even if several keywords or URLs find it.
### FAQ
**Do I need a GOG account?**
No. The Actor only reads public store data that anyone can see on gog.com without logging in.
**How many products can I get?**
As many as match your search. A single GOG search serves at most 10,000 products, and the Actor splits larger runs by product type. In our October 2026 test, a run with no keyword and no limit returned all 12,902 products in the US store.
**How long does a run take?**
In our October 2026 tests on Apify, 1,000 products with full details took about a minute. The whole 12,902-product store took about 15 minutes with full details and about 2 minutes without them.
**Which countries and currencies are supported?**
63 country stores. Prices change by region, and some products aren't sold everywhere. GOG offers a few currencies per country, usually the local currency, EUR, and USD. If you pick one GOG doesn't offer for that country, the run stops and lists the ones it does.
**Why is a price empty?**
Upcoming games that can't be bought yet have no price. A game page that isn't sold in your selected country is still saved, but without prices.
**Why are some detail fields empty?**
GOG only publishes age ratings, series, install size, and trailers for some products. In our test of the 1,000 best-selling products, about 64% had an ESRB rating and 55% had a series.
**Why does the log show more matches than were saved?**
When you combine a keyword with a price range, GOG's reported total sometimes includes products outside the range. The Actor saves only the products GOG actually returns.
**Can I schedule runs or export to Google Sheets?**
Yes. Use [Apify Schedules](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) for recurring runs and [integrations](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations) for Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, Slack, and webhooks.
**Something is missing or broken?**
Open an issue on the [Issues tab](https://apify.com/parsebird/gog-game-scraper/issues). Feedback and feature requests are welcome there too.
### Is it legal to scrape GOG?
The Actor collects only public store information that GOG shows to every visitor, like titles, prices, and descriptions. It doesn't log in or access any account data. You are still responsible for how you use the data: follow [GOG's policies](https://www.gog.com/en/support/policies) and copyright rules when you republish descriptions or images. Read more in Apify's blog post [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/)
# Actor input Schema
## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):
Words to search the GOG store for, like "cyberpunk", "witcher" or "point and click". Each keyword is searched separately.
## `startUrls` (type: `array`):
Paste gog.com addresses. A browse or search page (https://www.gog.com/en/games?genres=rpg\&tags=indie) keeps the filters in its address. A game page (https://www.gog.com/en/game/the_witcher_2) returns that one product.
## `genres` (type: `array`):
Only return products in any of these genres.
## `tags` (type: `array`):
Only return products that have all of these tags, the same way gog.com combines tags.
## `operatingSystems` (type: `array`):
Only return products that run on any of these systems.
## `gameLanguages` (type: `array`):
Only return products playable in any of these languages (audio or text).
## `features` (type: `array`):
Only return products with any of these features.
## `productTypes` (type: `array`):
Which kinds of products to return. Games plus bundles is the same as gog.com's "Hide DLCs" view.
Earliest release year, like 2015.
## `releaseYearTo` (type: `integer`):
Latest release year.
## `sortBy` (type: `string`):
Order of results, as on gog.com.
## `includeGameDetails` (type: `boolean`):
Add the store description, system requirements, audio and subtitle languages, ESRB/PEGI/USK age ratings, series, install size, goodies, trailers and DLC list. Same price either way; turn off for faster runs.
## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):
Stop after this many products for each keyword, address, or filter-only browse. Set 0 for no limit (the whole GOG store is about 13,000 products). A product found by an earlier keyword is never saved or charged twice.
## `country` (type: `string`):
Which regional GOG store to read. Changes prices, discounts, and what's for sale.
## `currency` (type: `string`):
Currency for prices. Automatic uses the store country's own currency. GOG offers only some currencies in each country (usually the local one, EUR, and USD).
## `language` (type: `string`):
Language for titles, descriptions, genres, and tags, when GOG has a translation.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
GOG works without a proxy. Add one only if you need requests to come from a specific network.
Clients without OAuth support can send an `Authorization: Bearer <APIFY_API_TOKEN>` header instead, using a token from API & Integrations in Apify Console (https://console.apify.com/settings/integrations).
