## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What is Mobile.de Reviews Scraper?

**Mobile.de Reviews Scraper** is a data extraction tool for **mobile.de dealer reviews**. Every car dealer on mobile.de has a public review page (`mobile.de/bewertungen/<DEALER>`) where buyers rate friendliness, consulting, response time, and whether the vehicle matched the ad. The Actor works as a **mobile.de reviews API alternative**: paste a dealer URL and get every review as clean JSON, with the dealer's rating summary on each row.

The easiest way to try it: open the **Input** tab, keep the prefilled dealer `MOINA`, and click **Start**. You get 50 reviews in a few seconds.

### What can Mobile.de Reviews Scraper do?

- ⭐ **Scrape all reviews of a dealer**: star rating, positive and negative text, the three detail scores, recommendation, "vehicle as described" answer, and the dealer's public reply.
- 🔗 **Use any dealer URL**: review pages, home.mobile.de dealer homepages, redirect links with `customerId`, or a listing URL to get the reviews of the dealer selling that car.
- 🔃 **Sort and filter like mobile.de**: newest, most helpful, best or worst rating first, and reviews from buyers only or from non-buyers only.
- 📅 **Get only new reviews**: set **Only reviews newer than** (a date or "30 days") and schedule the run for cheap review monitoring.
- 🏢 **Get dealer data on every row**: address, active-since date, dealer status, total review count, overall rating, the score breakdown, and mobile.de's AI summary of the reviews.
- 🧹 **Get clean, deduplicated data**: dates in ISO format, and mobile.de's page repeats removed.

On the Apify platform you also get [scheduled runs](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules), a full [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), [integrations](https://apify.com/integrations) with Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, and webhooks, and export to JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or HTML.

### How to scrape mobile.de reviews

1. Open a dealer on [mobile.de](https://www.mobile.de) and click the dealer rating, or open a listing and click the dealer's reviews. Copy the URL (`https://www.mobile.de/bewertungen/<DEALER>`). A home.mobile.de dealer homepage or the listing URL works too.
2. Open [Mobile.de Reviews Scraper](https://apify.com/parsebird/mobile-de-reviews-scraper) and paste one or more URLs into **Start URLs**.
3. Set **Max reviews per dealer** (0 = all), and optionally the sort order, the reviewer filter, and a date.
4. Click **Start**.
5. Download the reviews from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or HTML, or fetch them through the API.

To monitor new reviews, set **Only reviews newer than** to `7 days` and run the Actor every week with a [schedule](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules).

### Input example

```json
{
    "startUrls": [
        { "url": "https://www.mobile.de/bewertungen/MOINA" },
        { "url": "https://home.mobile.de/AH-KLEIN-SIMMERN" }
    ],
    "maxItems": 0,
    "sortBy": "newest",
    "filterBy": "all",
    "reviewsNewerThan": "2026-01-01"
}
```

The legacy single-URL input still works:

```json
{
    "startUrl": "https://www.mobile.de/bewertungen/MOINA",
    "maxItems": 10
}
```

| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|---------|-------------|
| startUrls | array | **Yes** (or startUrl) | — | Dealer review pages, home.mobile.de dealer pages, or listing URLs |
| maxItems | integer | No | 100 | Maximum reviews per start URL. 0 = all |
| sortBy | string | No | `newest` | `newest`, `helpful`, `good` (best first), `bad` (worst first) |
| filterBy | string | No | `all` | `all`, `boughtVehicle`, `boughtNoVehicle` |
| reviewsNewerThan | string | No | — | Only reviews on or after this date: `YYYY-MM-DD` or relative, e.g. `30 days` |
| maxConcurrency | integer | No | 5 | Review pages loaded in parallel |
| maxRequestRetries | integer | No | 8 | Retries per failed request |
| startUrl | string | No | — | Legacy single URL field |
| proxyConfiguration | object | No | off | Optional proxy. When mobile.de blocks the connection, the Actor switches to Apify residential proxy (Germany) by itself |

### Use cases

- 🏆 **Dealer reputation monitoring**: track new reviews and score changes for your own dealership or a group of locations.
- 🔍 **Competitor analysis**: compare ratings, recommendation rates, and common complaints of dealers in your region.
- 📊 **Customer feedback analysis**: run sentiment analysis or topic modelling on positive and negative review texts.
- 🤝 **Dealer vetting**: check a dealer's review history before buying, financing, or partnering.
- 🤖 **AI agents and LLM tools**: feed structured review data into summaries, dashboards, or RAG pipelines.

### How it works

1. The Actor turns each start URL into the dealer's mobile.de review page. Listing URLs are looked up to find the selling dealer.
2. It reads the review pages, 10 reviews per page, several pages in parallel.
3. With **Newest first** and a limit or date, it reads pages in order and stops as soon as it has enough reviews or reaches older ones.
4. When you want all reviews or choose another sort order, it reads every page and fills gaps with extra passes, because mobile.de's paging sometimes repeats a review on two pages. Then it sorts the reviews itself, so the order is exact.
5. Each review is saved and charged as it is written, so the run stops when your spending limit is reached.

### How much does it cost to scrape mobile.de reviews?

Mobile.de Reviews Scraper uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay per review saved to the dataset. Compute and proxy traffic are included in the event price, so they are not billed separately.

| Event | Price per event | Price per 1,000 |
|-------|----------------|-----------------|
| review-scraped (Free plan) | $0.00129 | **$1.29** |
| review-scraped (Bronze plan) | $0.00119 | **$1.19** |
| review-scraped (Silver plan) | $0.00099 | **$0.99** |
| review-scraped (Gold plan) | $0.00089 | **$0.89** |

One event is one review in the dataset. A small platform **Actor start** fee also applies per run. For example, all 702 reviews of a large dealer cost about $0.91 on the Free plan, and a weekly run that finds 5 new reviews costs less than $0.01. Apify's free plan includes monthly platform credit you can use for this Actor.

### FAQ

**Do I need a mobile.de account?**
No. Dealer review pages are public. The Actor reads what every visitor sees.

**Is maxItems per dealer or per run?**
Per start URL, so `maxItems: 50` with three dealers gives up to 150 reviews. If the same dealer appears twice in your list, it is scraped once.

**Why do I get slightly fewer reviews than the total shown on mobile.de?**
Mobile.de's review pages sometimes show the same review twice and skip another one, mostly when several reviews have the same date. The Actor removes the repeats and runs extra passes to find the skipped reviews. In our tests it collected all 702 of 702 reviews of a large dealer. On some dealers a few reviews may still be missing.

**What do the aggregate scores mean?**
They are the score breakdown mobile.de shows on the dealer page. `aggregateRatingsCount` tells you how many ratings the breakdown is based on, which can be lower than `totalReviews`. `rating` and `totalReviews` are the overall values for all reviews.

**Can I scrape reviews of private sellers?**
No. Only dealers have review pages on mobile.de. If you paste a listing from a private seller, the Actor tells you that the seller has no review page.

**How do I get only new reviews every week?**
Keep **Sort reviews by** on **Newest first**, set **Only reviews newer than** to `7 days`, and add a weekly [schedule](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules). The Actor stops reading as soon as it reaches older reviews.

**Can I connect the results to other tools?**
Yes. Send reviews to Google Sheets, Slack, Make, Zapier, n8n, or your own system through [integrations](https://apify.com/integrations), webhooks, or the API.

**Something does not work or a field is missing.**
Open an issue on the **Issues** tab with your input and run ID, and we will look into it.

### Is it legal to scrape mobile.de reviews?

The Actor collects only reviews that mobile.de publishes openly to all visitors. Reviews can contain names of reviewers and salespeople, which are personal data under the GDPR. Make sure you have a lawful basis for storing and using them, and check mobile.de's terms for your use case. For more background, read Apify's article [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/) and consult a lawyer if you are unsure.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Add mobile.de dealer URLs. Supported: dealer review pages (https://www.mobile.de/bewertungen/<DEALER>), dealer homepages (https://home.mobile.de/<DEALER> or https://home.mobile.de/home/redirect.html?customerId=<id>), and listing URLs (https://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/.../<id>.html), which give the reviews of the dealer selling that vehicle.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of reviews to save for each start URL. Set 0 to get all reviews.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order in which mobile.de returns the reviews.

## `filterBy` (type: `string`):

Show reviews from all customers, only from customers who bought a vehicle, or only from customers who did not.

## `reviewsNewerThan` (type: `string`):

Save only reviews written on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD). With 'Newest first' sorting, the scraper stops as soon as it reaches older reviews, which makes scheduled runs fast and cheap.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of review pages loaded at the same time.

## `maxRequestRetries` (type: `integer`):

How many times a failed request is retried.

## `startUrl` (type: `string`):

Single dealer URL. Kept for older integrations; use Start URLs instead.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Leave off to let the scraper handle it: it connects directly and switches to Apify residential proxy (Germany) automatically if mobile.de blocks the connection. Apify datacenter proxies are blocked by mobile.de.
