## Pricing

from $0.79 / 1,000 ubersuggest data

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What is Ubersuggest Scraper?

**Ubersuggest Scraper** turns the data you see in [Ubersuggest](https://app.neilpatel.com/en/ubersuggest/) into structured rows. Give it **keywords** to get search volume, CPC, competition, SEO and paid difficulty, search intent, a monthly volume trend and the Google results that rank for them. Give it **domains** to get their top pages by organic traffic, a backlink overview with domain authority, and individual backlinks.

Use it as an **Ubersuggest API alternative** for keyword research and competitor analysis: no Ubersuggest account and no browser needed. Keep the example inputs, click **Start**, and download the data as JSON, CSV or Excel a few seconds later.

### What can Ubersuggest Scraper do?

- 🔑 **Keyword metrics**: search volume, monthly trend, CPC (local currency and USD), competition, SEO difficulty, paid difficulty and search intent (informational, navigational, commercial, transactional).
- 👥 **Searcher insights**: desktop vs. mobile share, click rate, organic vs. paid click share, and searcher age and gender split when Ubersuggest has them.
- 🔎 **SERP results**: the Google results for each keyword with position, result type, estimated monthly clicks, domain authority and Facebook, Pinterest and Reddit shares.
- 📄 **Top pages**: a domain's 10 pages with the most organic traffic, with traffic, backlinks, referring domains and social shares.
- 🔗 **Backlinks**: domain authority, total and nofollow backlinks, referring domains and .gov/.edu referring domains, plus up to 100 individual backlinks with anchor text, authority, spam score and first/last seen dates.
- 💡 **Keyword ideas** (best effort): related keywords, questions, prepositions and comparisons with full metrics.
- 🌍 **238 countries** and the languages Ubersuggest supports in each.

As an Apify Actor it also gives you [scheduling](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules), a [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), [integrations](https://apify.com/integrations) with Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, Slack and webhooks, and exports to JSON, CSV, Excel, XML and HTML.

### How much does it cost to scrape Ubersuggest?

Ubersuggest Scraper uses pay-per-event pricing: you pay for each row saved to the dataset. Compute and proxy costs are included.

| Event | Free plan | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|-------|-----------|--------|--------|------|
| `result` (one dataset row) | **$1.09** / 1,000 | **$0.99** / 1,000 | **$0.89** / 1,000 | **$0.79** / 1,000 |

The default example (1 keyword and 1 domain) saves 22 rows and costs about $0.024. 1,000 backlinks cost $1.09 on the Free plan. Lookups with no data are saved with an `error` field and are not charged. You can set a maximum cost per run in the run options.

### FAQ

**Do I need an Ubersuggest account?**
No. The actor uses the data Ubersuggest shows to visitors without an account.

**Why are there at most 10 top pages and 100 backlinks per domain?**
That's how much Ubersuggest shows without an account. Use the limits to take fewer.

**Why didn't I get keyword ideas for some keywords?**
Ubersuggest only lets visitors without an account start a few new keyword idea reports. Keywords it has analysed recently return ideas right away; others may come back with an `error` field ("try again later"). Those rows are not charged. Keyword metrics and SERP rows are not affected.

**What do the search intent values mean?**
Ubersuggest labels each keyword as informational, navigational, commercial or transactional. A keyword can have more than one label; the first one is the main intent.

**Which domain data isn't included?**
The domain overview (organic traffic history, keyword counts by position, traffic by country) and the list of keywords a domain ranks for are not part of this actor.

**Why did a backlink overview come back with an error?**
Ubersuggest occasionally refuses backlink data for visitors without an account. The row is saved with an `error` field and not charged; running it again later usually works.

**How do I use the Ubersuggest Scraper API in Python?**

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("parsebird/ubersuggest-scraper").call(run_input={
    "keywords": ["email marketing", "crm software"],
    "country": "us",
    "includeSerp": True,
    "maxSerpResults": 10,
})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["rowType"], item.get("keyword") or item.get("url"), item.get("volume"))
```

**How do I use it in JavaScript?**

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('parsebird/ubersuggest-scraper').call({
    domainsOrUrls: ['apify.com'],
    includeBacklinks: true,
    maxBacklinks: 100,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(items);
```

**Something is missing or broken. What should I do?**
Open an issue on the [Issues tab](https://apify.com/parsebird/ubersuggest-scraper/issues). Feedback and feature requests are welcome.

### Is it legal to scrape Ubersuggest?

Ubersuggest Scraper only collects SEO data that Ubersuggest shows to visitors without an account, and it doesn't collect personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data, including following Ubersuggest's terms and the laws that apply to you. If you're unsure, ask a lawyer. Read more in Apify's post on [whether web scraping is legal](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/).
