## Pricing

from $1.90 / 1,000 place scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## 🗺️ 2GIS Places Scraper

> 🚀 **Export 2GIS business listings in seconds.** Up to 69 fields per place with phones, emails, websites, social links, hours and ratings, plus reviews as their own rows. No 2GIS account and no API key.

2GIS is the business directory and map used across Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the UAE and 16 more countries. Its public catalog shows about 5,000 results per search and its website has no export. This Actor reads the same public catalog that powers the 2GIS website, and when a search holds more than one query can show (8,844 cafes in Moscow, for example) it splits the map into circles and collects them all.

Search by keyword, rubric and city, or paste 2GIS links. You get one flat row per place, and optionally one row per review and the photo gallery of each place.

| 🎯 Target Audience | 💡 Primary Use Cases |
| --- | --- |
| Sales and lead teams | Lead lists by city and category with phone, email, website and socials, including businesses with no website |
| Marketing and SEO agencies | Local prospects to pitch, ranked by rating, review count and average bill |
| Market researchers | Competitor and coverage maps by district, category and chain |
| Franchise and retail analysts | Every branch of a chain with address, coordinates and hours |
| Reputation teams | Reviews with stars, source, date and the business reply |
| Data and GIS teams | Place tables with coordinates for maps, BI and ML |

### 📋 What the 2GIS Places Scraper does

> 💡 **Why it matters:** a directory entry tells you a business exists. A phone, an email and a rating tell you whether it is worth contacting. This Actor puts all of it in one row.

- Searches by keyword, by 2GIS rubric (1,667 categories) or both, in one of 206 cities or a whole country.
- Accepts search links, place links, organization (all branches) links, building links, go.2gis.com short links and bare place IDs.
- Returns name, branch ID, organization, brand, branch count, categories, full address, street, postcode, district, city, country, latitude and longitude.
- Returns every phone, email and website, plus Instagram, Facebook, VK, Telegram, WhatsApp and YouTube links.
- Returns opening hours by day, a 24 hour flag, rating and review count for the branch and for the whole organization, and the average bill.
- Returns payment methods, services and attribute groups.
- Splits searches bigger than 5,000 places into map circles and de-duplicates them.
- Filters at the source by website, photos, reviews, rated places, open now and open 24 hours, and by email, phone, Wi-Fi, card payment, delivery, takeaway, average bill and listing age on each listing.
- Optional reviews as separate rows, filtered by stars, source and date, with the business reply.
- Optional photo gallery of each place, up to 10 full-size image URLs.

Fields a listing does not publish hold `Not Disclosed`, or `N/A` when they do not apply, never an empty cell. `isPromoted` marks paid advertiser placements, which 2GIS ranks first. Instagram and Facebook links are empty for Russian businesses, where both are blocked, and filled for most other countries.

- **Past the 5,000 cap.** Searches bigger than one query can read are split into circles automatically. 8,844 unique Moscow cafes came back from one test run.
- **206 cities, 20 countries.** Pick cities from a list or one whole country. Names follow the city's language.
- **Contacts inside every row.** Phones, emails, websites and socials are part of the place, not an add-on event.
- **Reviews as rows.** One row per review with stars, text, source, dates, author, likes and the business reply.
- **Filters 2GIS applies itself.** Website, photos, reviews, rated, open now, open 24 hours and sort by rating change the totals at the source.
- **Pay for what you switch on.** Places, reviews and photo galleries are separate pay-per-event items. Reviews and photos are off by default.

### 💼 Business use cases

#### Local lead lists

Search a category in one city or a whole country, keep places with an email or a phone, or keep only places with no website to sell web and marketing services.

#### Market mapping

List every branch of a chain, every dentist in a district, or every place inside a circle around an address, with coordinates for your GIS or BI tool.

#### Reputation watch

Pull the reviews of a place or a category, filter by stars (1 to 2 for complaints), by source and by date, with the business reply next to each review.

#### Spotting new openings

Use the listing age filter and sort by rating to find places added to 2GIS recently.

### 🔌 Automating 2GIS Places Scraper

- **Make and Zapier**: run the Actor on a schedule and send new leads to a CRM.
- **Slack**: post an alert when a place gets a new 1 star review.
- **Airbyte**: sync places and reviews into a warehouse and join them on `placeId`.
- **GitHub Actions**: run weekly and commit the CSV so a change history builds itself.
- **Google Drive**: drop each export into a shared folder for the sales team.
- **Apify Scheduler**: run daily, weekly or hourly with no external tooling.

### 🌟 Beyond business use cases

- **Research**: study how the density of cafes, clinics or pharmacies varies across districts and countries.
- **Personal**: find open 24 hour pharmacies in a new city before you travel.
- **Non-profit**: map clinics and shelters with phones for a community directory.
- **Experimentation**: build a multilingual review corpus with star labels and business replies.

### 🤖 Ask an AI assistant about this scraper

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude or any assistant:

> I am using the 2GIS Places Scraper on Apify. It returns place rows with name, address, latitude, longitude, phones, emails, website, rating, reviewCount and openingHours, and review rows with rating, text, source, dateCreated and businessReply linked by placeId. Help me design an analysis that finds the best rated dental clinics per district in one city and lists which ones have no website.

### ❓ Frequently Asked Questions

#### 🔑 Do I need a 2GIS account or API key?

No. The Actor reads the public 2GIS catalog. There is nothing to sign up for and no key to paste.

#### 🌍 Which countries and cities are covered?

206 cities in 20 countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Chile and Cyprus. Pick cities from the list or set a country code to search all of its cities.

#### 🔢 How many places can I get per search?

One 2GIS query shows about 5,000 places. When a search is bigger, the Actor tiles the area with circles and de-duplicates, which gave 8,844 unique cafes for Moscow. `maxItems` and `maxItemsPerSearch` cap the run.

#### 📧 Are emails really included?

Yes, when the listing publishes one. The `email` and `emails` columns carry them, and `onlyWithEmail` keeps only places that have one. The email is the one the business itself lists.

#### 📱 Why are Instagram and Facebook empty for Russian places?

Both are blocked in Russia, and 2GIS does not show them there. In our test of 4,142 Moscow cafes none carried either link. Other countries have them.

#### 💬 How do reviews work?

Set reviews per place above zero and each review comes as its own row with `rowType` set to `review`. You can filter by stars, by source (2GIS, Flamp, Booking and more) and by date.

#### 🖼 What does the photo gallery add?

Up to 10 full-size photo URLs per place in a `photos` list. It is an optional extra and off by default.

#### 🔎 Can I search by free-text address or draw an area?

No. Location is a city or country list plus an optional circle (latitude, longitude and radius). Free-text places and drawn areas are not supported.

#### 🏢 Do I get building or apartment data?

No. The Actor returns businesses and their reviews. It does not return residential buildings or apartments.

#### 🔁 Can the same place appear twice?

No. Rows are de-duplicated on the place ID within a run.

#### 🌐 Do I need a proxy?

The default already uses Apify residential proxy, which was the only option that stayed clean in our tests. Datacenter proxies worked on some runs and stalled on others.

#### 🛑 What happens when 2GIS blocks a run?

The Actor retries. If nothing comes back it ends with an error row, which is never charged.

#### 💵 How is it billed?

Pay per event: one event per place, one per review and one per place whose photo gallery was read. Error rows are free. Current prices are on the Actor's Pricing tab.

### 🔌 Integrate with any app

Every run writes to an Apify dataset you can read over the REST API, stream into a webhook, or export as CSV, Excel, JSON or XML. Apify's integrations cover Make, Zapier, Airbyte, Slack, Google Drive, GitHub, Google Sheets and plain HTTP webhooks, so the rows land wherever your team already works.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Keywords or business types, one per line. 2GIS matches them in the language of the city (Russian for Russia, Russian or Kazakh for Kazakhstan, English or Arabic for the UAE). Each term is searched in every selected city.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

2GIS search, place (/firm/), organization (/branches/) or building (/inside/) URLs, go.2gis.com short links or numeric place ids. Mix them freely.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Free users: Limited to 10 items (preview). Paid users: Optional, max 1,000,000

Optional. With longitude and radius, only places inside this circle are returned.

## `longitude` (type: `number`):

Optional center of the circle (see latitude).

## `radiusMeters` (type: `integer`):

## `reviewMaxRating` (type: `integer`):

Highest star rating to keep (1 to 5).

## `reviewsSince` (type: `string`):

Only with newest-first order: stop at reviews older than this date (YYYY-MM-DD).
