## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Amazon Product Scraper: Price, Specs, Rating & Offers by ASIN

> **Launch Sale: 90% OFF for the first week!** Every event below is billed at 10% of list price during launch week.

Paste ASINs or product links and get the public Amazon product page as clean data: price, list price, discount, stock, rating, reviews count, seller, bullet points, spec table and images.

### Quick start

Press **Start**. The sample reads one Echo Dot listing on amazon.com in seconds. Paste your own ASINs or links (amazon.co.uk, .de, .co.jp and more work too).

### What you get

- Title, brand, price, currency, list price and `discount_pct`
- `availability` (in_stock / out_of_stock / preorder) plus Amazon's own wording
- Star rating and total ratings count
- Seller and ships-from (when shown), Prime badge
- "About this item" bullets, the spec table, breadcrumbs, description and up to 20 image URLs
- A row for every input, including `blocked`, `not_found` and `invalid_input`, so nothing is lost

### Good for

- Price and buy-box checks on your own or competitors' ASINs
- Building product catalogs with specs and images
- Spotting listings that went out of stock or lost their price
- Brand monitoring across Amazon marketplaces

### Pricing

- $0.002 per listing parsed (about $2 per 1,000 ASINs)
- Robot checks, 404s and invalid ASINs are free
- **Launch Sale: 90% OFF for the first week!**

You pay only for results that come back. Set a max cost per run in the run options and the run stops cleanly
when it hits it. Normal Apify platform usage applies. No API keys or logins needed.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `asins` | 10-character Amazon product IDs, one per line: B09B8V1LZ3 |
| `productUrls` | Full product links from any supported Amazon site. The marketplace is taken from the link. |
| `marketplace` | Which Amazon site to use for ASINs typed without a URL. |
| `maxItems` | Safety cap per run. |
| `maxRetries` | Amazon sometimes shows a robot check; we retry with a pause. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Optional for a handful of ASINs. For 50+ listings turn on Apify Proxy (RESIDENTIAL works best). |

### Output

Rows go to the default dataset (see the **Listings** view). A `RUN_SUMMARY.json` record in the key-value
store has totals, what was charged and any proxy notes.

### Limits

- Public product pages only. No login, no reviews text, no seller-central data.
- Amazon sometimes answers with a robot check. We retry; for large runs turn on Apify Proxy.
- When a listing has no buyable offer, price is empty and availability is `out_of_stock`.

### Run it from code

Same input as the Console sample:

```json
{
  "asins": [
    "B09B8V1LZ3"
  ]
}
```

```sh
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/physealabs~amazon-product-listings-parser/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=$APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d @input.json
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
items = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN").actor("physealabs/amazon-product-listings-parser").call(run_input={"asins": ["B09B8V1LZ3"]})
```

It also works from Zapier, Make, n8n and Apify schedules.
