## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### ⭐ Airbnb Reviews Scraper: Export All Airbnb Reviews

Export **Airbnb reviews** of any listing as JSON, CSV or Excel. The **Airbnb Reviews Scraper** collects every review's star rating, full text, language, an English translation when Airbnb has one, date, the reviewer's name, profile link and photo, stay details and the host's response. Use it for review analysis, guest sentiment research and competitor monitoring, or as a simple Airbnb reviews API.

### 🎯 Use Cases

- **Airbnb review analysis**: download all reviews of your own or competing listings and find what guests praise or complain about.
- **Sentiment and topic research**: feed review text (original and English translation) into an LLM or a sentiment model.
- **Competitor monitoring for hosts**: schedule a weekly run of the newest reviews for nearby listings.
- **Property due diligence**: read the lowest-rated reviews of a listing or building before you buy, rent or partner.
- **Training and evaluation data**: build a multilingual review dataset with ratings and dates.

### ✨ Features

- **Full depth**: every review Airbnb shows for a listing, not just the first page (50 per request, as many pages as needed).
- **Four orders**: newest first, most relevant, highest rated or lowest rated, the same as on Airbnb.
- **Original and translated text**: `text` is the review as written, `translatedText` is Airbnb's English translation for reviews in other languages, and `language` is the review's language code.
- **Host responses**: the host's public reply and its date.
- **Reviewer details**: first name, user ID, profile link, avatar and how long they have been on Airbnb.
- **Bulk listings**: paste many listing links or IDs; each one gets its own limit.
- **No duplicates**: each review is saved and charged once per run.

### 🛠️ How It Works

1. **Paste Airbnb listing URLs or IDs**, one per line (any Airbnb country domain works).
2. **Choose the order and how many reviews per listing** (default 50; set it high to get them all).
3. **Run the scraper** and download the reviews, or pull them through the Apify API.

### ⚙️ Input

| Field | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Listing URLs or IDs** | Links like `https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19130047` or the number alone. |
| **Sort by** | `newest`, `relevant`, `highest` or `lowest`. Default `newest`. |
| **Max reviews per listing** | Stop after this many reviews for each listing. Default 50. |

```json
{
    "listings": ["https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19130047", "54337496"],
    "sortBy": "lowest",
    "maxItems": 1000
}
```

### 💰 Pricing

Pay only for the reviews you get. No monthly rental.

| Event | Price | What you get |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Review** | $0.001 per review ($1.00 per 1,000) | One review with all fields below |
| **Actor start** | $0.00005 per run | Charged once when the run starts |

Examples: 50 reviews = $0.05 · all 353 reviews of a busy listing = $0.35 · 10,000 reviews = $10.00.

### 📊 Sample Output Data

```json
{
    "id": "225352239",
    "language": "es",
    "translatedText": "Apartment better than we expected. Located in alfama. The hosts were super nice with us and living two floors above us were always there when needed.",
### 🔁 Schedule and Integrate
To monitor new reviews, run it **once a week** with `sortBy: "newest"` and a small limit. Set it up in Apify **Schedules**, then push new reviews to **Google Sheets**, **Slack** via **Zapier**, **Make**, **n8n** or a webhook with Apify **integrations**.
### 🤖 Use with AI Agents (MCP)
This Actor works as a tool in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients through the Apify MCP server (`https://mcp.apify.com`). An agent can call it with:
```json
{ "listings": ["https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19130047"], "sortBy": "newest", "maxItems": 30 }
```
### ❓ FAQ
**Does Airbnb have an official API for reviews?** Airbnb's API is limited to approved partners and their own listings. This Actor needs no key, account or approval and returns the public reviews anyone can read on a listing page.
**Can I get all reviews of a listing?** Yes. Set **Max reviews per listing** above the listing's review count and the scraper pages through all of them (for example all 353 reviews of the default listing).
**Why is `translatedText` empty?** Airbnb only translates reviews that are not in English. English reviews have `translatedText: null`.
**Do I need an Airbnb account?** No.
**What happens with a removed listing?** It is skipped, not charged, and named in the run's status message.
**How do I find listing URLs for a whole city?** Run the Airbnb Listings Scraper first and pass its `url` values here.
