## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### 💼 Duunitori Jobs Scraper

**Duunitori Jobs Scraper** extracts job listings from **[Duunitori.fi](https://duunitori.fi/)**, Finland's biggest job board, with no login and no API key. Search by keyword and area, or collect every open job in Finland. You get clean JSON with the **real job title, company, location, posting date and the full job description**. You can also add the **salary range, application deadline, employment type, occupation, all work locations and the application link**.

Run it on the **[Apify platform](https://apify.com/)** to get scheduling, an API, webhooks and exports to Google Sheets, Excel or CSV.

### ✨ Features

- 🇫🇮 **Every open job in Finland.** Collect a single search or the whole board (15,000+ jobs). Each job appears once, even when keywords or areas overlap.
- 🏷️ **Real titles.** Rows keep the title the employer wrote (for example "B2B-myyjä ja asiakashankkija"), not a normalised occupation name. The occupation is a separate field.
- 📝 **Full description in every row.** The complete ad text comes with the basic listing, at the lowest price.
- 💶 **Salary and deadline.** Turn on **Include job details** to add the salary range with its unit (per hour or per month), the application deadline, the employment type and every work location.
- 🔗 **Where to apply.** Details include the application link and the site it leads to (Duunitori's own form, an applicant tracking system or the employer's careers page).

### 💡 Use cases

- **Job market research.** Track demand for roles, skills and regions across Finland.
- **Salary benchmarking.** Compare advertised pay per hour or per month by occupation and city.
- **Recruitment and sales leads.** Find companies that are hiring, and see which applicant tracking systems they use.
- **Job alerts.** Schedule a daily run with **Posted within (days)** set to 1 to get only new jobs.

### 🛠️ How to use

1. **Enter keywords and areas** (for example `myyjä` in `Helsinki`), or leave both empty for all jobs.
2. **Set Max jobs.** The default is 50. Use 0 for every result.
3. **(Optional) Turn on Include job details** for salary, deadline and apply links.
4. **Run** the Actor, then export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the API.

With empty input the Actor returns the 50 newest jobs in Finland.

### 📥 Input

| Field                 | Type    | Description                                                                                       |
| --------------------- | ------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `searchQueries` | array | Job titles, skills or company names. Each keyword is a separate search. Empty = all jobs. |
| `areas`               | array   | Finnish cities or regions, e.g. `Helsinki`, `Tampere`, `Uusimaa`. Empty = whole country.          |
| `searchInDescription` | boolean | Also match keywords in the job description. Default `false`. |
| `postedWithinDays` | integer | Only jobs posted within this many days. |
| `maxItems`            | integer | Maximum jobs to save. Default `50`, `0` = no limit.                                               |
| `includeDetails` | boolean | Add salary, deadline, employment type, occupation, locations and the apply link. Default `false`. |

Example:

```json
{
    "searchQueries": ["myyjä", "asiakaspalvelu"],
    "areas": ["Helsinki", "Espoo", "Vantaa"],
    "postedWithinDays": 7,
    "maxItems": 500,
    "includeDetails": true
}
```

### 📤 Output

Each job is one dataset item:

```json
{
    "id": "20623958",
    "url": "https://duunitori.fi/tyopaikat/tyo/callbros-myyntineuvottelija-tuntipalkkio-ja-provisio-sdsuu-20623958",
    "title": "Myyntineuvottelija - Tuntipalkkio ja provisio",
    "company": "CallBros Oy",
    "municipality": "Helsinki",
    "datePosted": "2026-10-05T16:30:07.342131+03:00",
    "description": "CallBros etsii uusia tekijöitä huipputiimiin!\n\nEtsitkö seuraavaa mahdollisuuttasi? ...",
    "latitude": null,
    "longitude": null
}
```

With **Include job details** on, each item also has:

```json
{
    "occupation": "myyntineuvottelija",
    "validThrough": "2026-10-18T11:58:00+00:00",
    "employmentType": "PART_TIME",
    "salary": { "min": 1500, "max": 6000, "currency": "EUR", "unit": "MONTH" },
    "locations": ["Helsinki"],
    "applyUrl": "https://callbros.fi/?utm_source=duunitori.fi&utm_medium=referral&source=duunitori",
    "applyChannel": "callbros.fi",
    "language": "finnish",
    "companyLogoUrl": null
}
```

`salary` is `null` when the ad gives no amount (about a third of ads). `applyChannel` is `duunitori.fi` when candidates apply through Duunitori's own form.

### 💰 How much does it cost to scrape Duunitori?

The Actor uses pay-per-event pricing, so you pay only for jobs you get:

| Event       | Price                         | When it's charged                                        |
| ----------- | ----------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| Actor start | **$0.00005**                  | Once per run                                             |
| Job         | **$0.0015** ($1.50 per 1,000) | For every saved job                                      |
| Job details | **$0.002** ($2 per 1,000) | On top of the job price, for each job saved with details |

For example, 1,000 jobs cost about **$1.50**, or **$3.50** with details. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify, and the Actor stops when it reaches that cost.

### ⚙️ Tips

- **The whole board:** leave keywords and areas empty and set Max jobs to 0. The site lists many jobs with identical posting times, so the Actor reads the pages several times until every job has turned up. A full run takes a few minutes.
- **Several cities:** add each city to **Areas**. A job advertised in two of them is saved once.
- **Skip details when you don't need them.** Rows already include the full description.

### ❓ FAQ

**Is it legal to scrape Duunitori?**
The Actor collects only publicly visible job ads. You are responsible for using the data lawfully (e.g. GDPR) and for respecting the site's terms.

**Why is the title different from the occupation?**
Duunitori tags every ad with a normalised occupation (for example "myyjä"). The Actor keeps the employer's own title in `title` and puts the tag in `occupation`.

**Why did a run return fewer jobs than requested?**
Either the search had fewer results, or some jobs were filled or removed between the search and the detail visit. Removed jobs are skipped and not charged. The run's status message explains any shortfall.
