## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 job listings

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### 🚀 Jobstreet Jobs Scraper

Extract job listings from **Jobstreet Malaysia**, **Jobstreet Singapore**, **Jobstreet Indonesia** and **Jobstreet Philippines** — titles, companies, salaries, categories, work types and full job descriptions. Jobstreet shows at most 500 jobs per search; this Jobstreet scraper keeps going and collects the rest, so you can export a whole category or city instead of the first few pages.

### ✨ Features

- 🌏 **All four Jobstreet countries**: my.jobstreet.com, sg.jobstreet.com, id.jobstreet.com and ph.jobstreet.com, in one output format.
- 📦 **Beyond the 500-job limit**: large searches are automatically split by category, work type and area, then merged with every job returned once. Each run reports how many of the matching jobs were collected.
- 🗂️ **Whole-category exports**: leave the keyword empty, pick a category (Accounting, Information & Communication Technology, Sales, …) and get the full list for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia or the Philippines.
- 💰 **Salary, category and work arrangement** on every job: salary text as advertised (RM, S$, Rp, ₱), category and subcategory, full-time / part-time / contract / casual, on-site / hybrid / remote.
- 📝 **Optional full details**: complete job description (plain text and HTML), expiry date, verified-advertiser flag and whether applications go to the company's own site.
- 🔔 **Only new jobs since the last run**: schedule the scraper and receive just the jobs listed since the previous run.
- 🔗 **Paste any Jobstreet URL**: search pages with filters applied, category pages or single job URLs.

### 🛠️ How It Works

1. **Choose what to search** – pick a country, then a keyword, location and/or category. Or paste Jobstreet search and job URLs.
2. **Set Max results** – up to 500 comes straight from the search; above 500 the scraper splits the search to reach the rest.
3. **Run the scraper** – download the jobs as JSON, CSV or Excel, or send them to your own tools through the API.

### ⚙️ Input

| Field                                | Description                                                                                                 |
| ------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Country** | Malaysia (default), Singapore, Indonesia or Philippines. |
| **Job title or keyword** | e.g. `accountant`, `software engineer`. Leave empty to get every job in the category or location. |
| **Location**                         | As you would type it on Jobstreet: `Kuala Lumpur`, `Selangor`, `Jakarta Raya`, `Metro Manila`. Empty = all. |
| **Category** | One of the 30 job categories, or any. |
| **Date posted**                      | Any time, last 24 hours, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days.                                                               |
| **Sort by** | Relevance or newest first. |
| **Search or job URLs** | Optional. Replaces the fields above. |
| **Scrape full job details** | Off by default. Adds description, expiry date and advertiser details. |
| **Only new jobs since the last run** | Off by default. For scheduled monitoring. |
| **Max results**                      | Default 50.                                                                                                 |

#### Examples

Jobstreet Malaysia — accountant jobs in Kuala Lumpur:

```json
{ "country": "MY", "keyword": "accountant", "location": "Kuala Lumpur", "maxItems": 100 }
```

Jobstreet Singapore — every IT job posted in the last 7 days, with full descriptions:

```json
{ "country": "SG", "category": "6281", "postedWithin": "7", "scrapeDetails": true, "maxItems": 3000 }
```

Jobstreet Indonesia — admin jobs in Jakarta:

```json
{ "country": "ID", "keyword": "admin", "location": "Jakarta Raya", "maxItems": 200 }
```

Jobstreet Philippines — call centre jobs from a pasted search URL:

```json
{ "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://ph.jobstreet.com/call-centre-jobs/in-Metro-Manila" }], "maxItems": 500 }
```

### 💰 Pricing

Pay only for the jobs you get — no monthly rental.

| Event           | Price                             | What you get                                                                                                          |
| --------------- | --------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Job listing** | $0.0015 per job ($1.50 per 1,000) | Title, company, location, category, work type, salary, listing date, teaser, bullet points, URL |
| **Job detail** | $0.0025 per job ($2.50 per 1,000) | Everything above plus full description, expiry date, advertiser verification. Charged *instead of* the listing price. |

A tiny start fee of $0.00005 per run applies. Examples: 50 listings = $0.08 · a 5,000-job category export = $7.50 · the same export with full descriptions = $12.50. A scheduled "only new jobs" run that finds nothing new costs almost nothing.

        "scrapedAt": "2026-10-05T12:15:12.425Z"
    }
]
```
Without **Scrape full job details** the fields `description`, `descriptionHtml`, `expiresAt`, `isExpired`, `advertiserVerified` and `appliesOnCompanySite` are left out.
### ℹ️ Good to Know
- **Coverage on large searches.** For exports without a keyword (a category, a city, a whole country) the scraper typically collects 95% or more of the jobs Jobstreet reports. For keyword searches expect around 90–95%: without filters Jobstreet also counts loosely related jobs that disappear as soon as any filter is applied, so that last share cannot be reached by anyone. The run log states the exact numbers.
- **Order of results.** Searches up to 500 jobs follow your chosen sort. Larger searches are returned slice by slice, newest first within each slice.
- **Promoted jobs** appear once, even when Jobstreet repeats them across pages.
- **Salary** is the text the advertiser published. Many ads do not state one.
- **Only new jobs** remembers each search separately. The first run returns everything up to Max results and saves the baseline.
- Contact details inside job ads are not extracted.
# Actor input Schema
## `country` (type: `string`):
Which Jobstreet site to search.
## `keyword` (type: `string`):
What to search for, e.g. `accountant`, `software engineer`, `admin assistant`. Leave empty to get every job in the category or location.
## `location` (type: `string`):
City, state or region as you would type it on Jobstreet, e.g. `Kuala Lumpur`, `Selangor`, `Penang` (Malaysia), `Central Region` (Singapore), `Jakarta Raya`, `Surabaya` (Indonesia), `Metro Manila`, `Cebu` (Philippines). Leave empty for the whole country.
## `category` (type: `string`):
Limit the search to one job category. Combine with an empty keyword to export a whole category.
## `postedWithin` (type: `string`):
Only jobs listed within this period.
## `sort` (type: `string`):
Order of the results. With a Max results limit this decides which jobs you get. Searches larger than 500 jobs are returned newest first within each category.
## `startUrls` (type: `array`):
Paste URLs instead of using the fields above: a Jobstreet search page with any filters applied (`https://my.jobstreet.com/accountant-jobs/in-Kuala-Lumpur`, `https://sg.jobstreet.com/jobs-in-information-communication-technology`, `https://ph.jobstreet.com/jobs?keywords=nurse`) or a single job (`https://my.jobstreet.com/job/12345678`). When set, the fields above are ignored.
## `scrapeDetails` (type: `boolean`):
Open every job and add the full description (text and HTML), expiry date, whether the advertiser is verified and whether applications go to the company site. Charged as a job detail instead of a job listing.
## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):
For scheduled runs: remember what this search returned and only output jobs listed since the previous run. The first run saves the baseline.
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
Maximum number of jobs to save. Jobstreet shows at most 500 jobs per search; set this above 500 and the scraper splits the search by category, work type and area to collect the rest.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Proxy used to reach Jobstreet. The default works for most runs.
