## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### 🚀 Lazada Reviews Scraper

Export customer reviews from Lazada in all six markets: Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. The **Lazada Reviews Scraper** turns any Lazada product page into structured review data: star rating, review text, photos, the variant the buyer bought, verified-purchase flag, likes, the seller's reply and separate seller and delivery ratings. Every product also gets a rating summary with the full star breakdown. Use it for product research, competitor analysis or to monitor what buyers say about your store.

### ✨ Features

- ⭐ **Every visible review**: rating, text, photos and video, likes, and the buyer's answers to structured questions ("Price", "Effectiveness"…) where the category asks them.
- 🛒 **What was bought**: the variant (color, size, bundle) and whether the buyer is a verified purchaser.
- 💬 **Seller replies**: the store's public answer to each review, when there is one.
- 🚚 **Seller and delivery ratings**: the separate stars buyers gave the seller and the delivery.
- 📊 **Rating summaries**: average, rating count, reviews per star, photo and video counts, and how many reviews Lazada hides.
- 🌏 **Six countries in one run**: mix product URLs from lazada.sg, .com.my, .com.ph, .co.th, .vn and .co.id.
- 📅 **Dates as dates**: Lazada shows dates in each country's language ("30 Jul 2026", "04 thg 9 2026", "01 ก.พ. 2026", "2 weeks ago"); every review also gets an ISO date.

### 🛠️ How It Works

1. **Add products** – Paste Lazada product URLs from any of the six countries, or numeric item IDs.
2. **Set a limit** – Maximum reviews per product (default 50, `0` returns rating summaries only).
3. **Run the scraper** – You get one rating summary per product, followed by its reviews in Lazada's default order (most relevant first).

### ⚙️ Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `urls` | Lazada product URLs (`https://www.lazada.sg/products/...-i2775952282.html`) or item IDs. |
| `maxReviews` | Reviews per product. Default 50; `0` = rating summaries only. |
| `country` | Country for bare item IDs (`sg` default, `my`, `ph`, `th`, `vn`, `id`). URLs carry their own. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Apify Proxy; the default works for all six countries. |

```json
{
    "urls": [
        "https://www.lazada.sg/products/pdp-i2775952282.html",
        "https://www.lazada.com.ph/products/omni-extension-cord-i265566338.html"
    ],
    "maxReviews": 500
}
```

    }
]
```
`buyerName` is what Lazada displays: a first name or a masked name such as `*****656`.
### 📋 Coverage report
Each run saves a `SUMMARY` record with, per product, how many reviews were visible, scanned and returned, and why collection stopped (`maxReviews`, `listEnd`, `summaryOnly`, `noReviews`, `endedShort`).
- **Lazada hides part of a product's reviews from every visitor.** A product showing 697 ratings may list 343 reviews; the summary's `hiddenReviewCount` says how many are hidden, and the scraper returns all the visible ones.
- **Relative dates are approximate.** When Lazada shows "3 weeks ago" instead of a date, `reviewDateIso` is counted back from the run and `reviewDateApproximate` is `true`.
- A product with no reviews, or an ID that does not exist, returns a rating summary with zero counts, **free of charge**.
### 💰 Pricing
Pay only for what you get:
| Event | Price |
|---|---:|
| Rating summary (product with at least one rating) | $0.002 |
| Review | $0.001 |
50 reviews on each of 20 products cost about $1.04. All 2,194 visible reviews of a popular product cost about $2.20. If you set a maximum cost per run, the scraper stops when it is reached.
### ❓ FAQ
**Which languages are the reviews in?** As written by buyers: English, Malay, Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian. Texts are not translated.
**Why do I get fewer reviews than the product's rating count?** Lazada hides some reviews on every product page. The rating summary shows how many; the visible ones are all returned.
**Can I sort by newest?** Reviews come in Lazada's default order, most relevant first. Use `reviewDateIso` to sort or filter after the run.
