## Pricing

from $3.00 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### 🚀 LinkedIn Job Details Scraper

Extract full job data from any LinkedIn job posting — **including the posted salary range, seniority
level and employment type as flat, filterable fields**. No login, no cookies, no proxy required.

### ✨ Features

- 💰 **Posted salary parsed** — `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency` and `salaryPeriod` as numbers, not a string you have to regex yourself.
- 🎯 **Flat filter fields** — `seniorityLevel`, `employmentType`, `jobFunction` and `industries` are top-level fields, not buried in a name/value array.
- 🏢 **Company join key** — `companySlug` plus a normalised `companyUrl`, stable across runs and across LinkedIn's locale subdomains.
- 📊 **Applicant count as a number** — sort and threshold on `applicantCount` directly.
- 🔗 **Apply route** — `applyType` tells you whether it is LinkedIn Easy Apply or an external ATS.
- 🔍 **Discovery data others drop** — `similarJobs` and `peopleAlsoViewed` come free with every posting.
- ⚡ **No login required** — runs without cookies, accounts or proxies.
- 🔌 **Standby / API mode** — call it as an HTTP endpoint with `?url=` or `?id=`.

### 🛠️ How It Works

1. **Provide job URLs** – pass LinkedIn job URLs in `searchUrls`. Full job pages
   (`/jobs/view/<id>`) and search URLs containing `currentJobId` both work; the job ID is
   extracted and normalised automatically.
2. **Run the scraper** – each posting comes back as one structured record.

#### API (Standby) mode

```
GET https://<your-standby-url>/?id=4390867392
GET https://<your-standby-url>/?url=https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4390867392
```

### 📋 Output Fields

Every run returns these 26 fields per record:

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `jobId` | string | LinkedIn job posting ID |
| `jobUrl` | string | Canonical LinkedIn job URL |
| `jobTitle` | string | Job title |
| `companyName` | string | Hiring company name |
| `companyUrl` | string | Company LinkedIn URL, normalised to www (LinkedIn serves locale subdomains) |
| `companySlug` | string | Company slug — stable join key across runs |
| `companyLogo` | string | Company logo image |
| `jobLocation` | string | Job location |
| `postedTimeAgo` | string | How long ago the job was posted, as displayed |
| `numApplicantsCaption` | string | Applicant caption as displayed |
| `applicantCount` | number | Applicant count as a number, for sorting and thresholds |
| `applyType` | string | 'easyApply' for LinkedIn Easy Apply, 'offsite' for an external ATS |
| `seniorityLevel` | string | Seniority level (flattened from the job criteria) |
| `employmentType` | string | Employment type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, ... |
| `jobFunction` | string | Job function |
| `industries` | string | Industries |
| `salaryText` | string | Posted salary range as displayed; null when the employer posts none |
| `salaryMin` | number | Lower bound of the posted salary range |
| `salaryMax` | number | Upper bound of the posted salary range |
| `salaryCurrency` | string | Currency symbol or code of the posted salary |
| `salaryPeriod` | string | 'year', 'hour' or 'month'; inferred from magnitude when not stated |
| `description` | string | Full job description text |
| `criteria` | array | Original name/value criteria list, kept for backwards compatibility |
| `similarJobs` | array | Similar jobs LinkedIn surfaces alongside this posting |
| `peopleAlsoViewed` | array | Jobs that viewers of this posting also viewed |
| `scrapedAt` | string | ISO 8601 timestamp of when this row was scraped |

> The salary fields are `null` when the employer has not posted a range — common outside
> jurisdictions with pay-transparency rules. `salaryPeriod` is inferred from magnitude only where
> unambiguous, and left `null` otherwise rather than guessed.
