## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### 🚀 Lowe's Products Scraper

Easily extract product data from Lowe's for any store. The **Lowe's Products Scraper** turns search keywords or category pages into structured product rows with the store's price, active promotions, on-hand stock and fulfillment options: for price monitoring, competitor tracking, retail analytics and sourcing.

### ✨ Features

- 🏷️ **Store-level prices and promotions**: current price, was-price, savings amount and percent, and the date the promotion ends.
- 📦 **In-store stock**: on-hand quantity at the store you choose, plus pickup, ship-to-home (with available quantity) and delivery availability.
- 🔍 **Keyword or category input**: search terms like `cordless drill`, or any Lowe's product-list URL with its filters and sorting kept.
- 🏬 **Any Lowe's store**: set a store number to see that store's prices and stock. Assortments differ a lot between stores (one refrigerator category showed 520 products in Wasilla, AK and 1,622 in Mooresville, NC).
- 🧾 **Rich product details**: brand, model number, item number, rating, review count, image, product URL, search position and Lowe's merchandising category (division, sub-division, product group, assortment).
- ⚡ **Reliable**: every page is checked for the requested store before it is saved. You never get rows priced for a different store.

### 🛠️ How It Works

1. **Enter keywords or category URLs**: e.g. `cordless drill` or `https://www.lowes.com/pl/appliances/refrigerators/4294857973`.
2. **Pick a store** (optional): the 4-digit number at the end of the Lowe's store page URL, e.g. `0595` in `lowes.com/store/NC-Mooresville/0595`. The default is 0595 (Mooresville, NC).
3. **Set the limit**: `maxItems` products per keyword or category (default 50). Lowe's lists at most 600 products per search.
4. **Run the scraper**: products arrive in the dataset, ready to export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or through the API.

Very broad keywords (for example `patio furniture`) open a Lowe's department page instead of a product list. The run log then suggests matching category URLs; nothing is charged for that search.

#### Input example

```json
{
    "keywords": ["cordless drill"],
    "categoryUrls": ["https://www.lowes.com/pl/appliances/refrigerators/4294857973"],
    "storeNumber": "0595",
    "maxItems": 50
}
```

### 💰 Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.004 per product** ($4 per 1,000 products), plus a negligible run start fee. You only pay for products saved to the dataset. Setting a maximum cost per run stops the scraper once the budget is used.

### 📊 Sample Output Data

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Products to search for on Lowe's, e.g. cordless drill or french door refrigerator. Very broad terms (like 'patio furniture') open a department page instead of a product list; use a category URL for those.

## `categoryUrls` (type: `array`):

Lowe's product-list URLs, e.g. https://www.lowes.com/pl/appliances/refrigerators/4294857973. Filters and sorting in the URL are kept.

## `storeNumber` (type: `string`):

Lowe's store whose prices and stock you want: the 4-digit number at the end of the store page URL, e.g. 0595 in lowes.com/store/NC-Mooresville/0595.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Products to collect per keyword or category URL. Lowe's lists at most 600 products per search.
