## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### 🚀 Workday Jobs Scraper: Jobs from Any myworkdayjobs.com Career Site

Get job postings from any company's **Workday career site** (`myworkdayjobs.com`) as clean JSON, CSV or Excel: **title, job requisition ID, all locations, country, time type, remote type, posting date, salary range when stated and the full job description**. The **Workday Jobs Scraper** gets **every job even on career sites with thousands of openings**, where the site's own search stops at 2,000. Use it for Workday job search at scale, hiring-signal data and job aggregation.

### 🎯 Use Cases

- **Enterprise hiring signals**: most large companies hire through Workday. Track which roles, teams and countries they are hiring for.
- **Job aggregation**: pull Workday jobs from many employers into one feed with full descriptions and apply links.
- **Salary data**: US and EU postings often state a base salary range; it comes parsed into `salaryMin` and `salaryMax`.
- **Recruiting and sourcing**: monitor competitors' Workday careers sites daily with the "Posted within (days)" filter.
- **Labour-market research**: count postings by country, location and time type across a list of companies.

### ✨ Features

- **Every job**: big career sites (NVIDIA: 2,742 jobs) are split by the site's own job categories, so nothing is lost past the 2,000-job search limit. Each job is saved once.
- **Full posting**: description in HTML and text, requisition ID, all locations, country code, time type and remote type.
- **Your filters kept**: paste a link with the site's own filters (`?locations=…&jobFamilyGroup=…`) and only those jobs are scraped.
- **Keyword, location, remote and date filters** on top.
- **Removed jobs skipped**: a job that disappears between the list and its page is skipped and not charged.
- **Same columns as our other job board scrapers**: Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters rows share one format, so you can merge them into one table.
- **No duplicates**: a company entered twice is scraped once, and every job is saved once.

### 🛠️ How It Works

1. **Paste companies**: Workday career site links, e.g. `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`. Links with filters applied keep them.
2. **Add filters** if you want: keyword, location, remote only, posted within N days.
3. **Run the scraper** and download the table, or pull it through the API.

### 🔁 Schedule and Integrate

Run it **once a day** with the same companies and **Posted within (days)** = 1 to get only new jobs. Set it up in Apify **Schedules**. Send the results to **Google Sheets**, **Zapier**, **Make**, **n8n**, Slack or a webhook with Apify **integrations**.

### 🤖 Use with AI Agents (MCP)

This Actor works as a tool in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients through the Apify MCP server (`https://mcp.apify.com`). An agent can call it with:

```json
{"companies":["https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"],"keyword":"engineer","maxItems":20}
```

### ❓ FAQ

**How do I find a company's Workday career site?** Search "<company> myworkdayjobs" or open a job from the company's careers page. Copy the address up to the site name, e.g. `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`. Links with `/en-US/` or a job path work too.

**Does it get all jobs on a career site with thousands of openings?** Yes. The Workday career site search shows at most 2,000 results. When a site has more, the scraper splits the search by the site's own categories (job family, location…) and merges the results without duplicates.

**Is there a Workday jobs API?** Workday has no public jobs API for job seekers. This Actor gives you one: career site links in, structured jobs out.

**Does it include salary?** When the posting states a pay range, yes. The range is parsed into `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency` and `salaryPeriod`, and `salaryText` keeps the sentence.

**Why is `department` empty?** Workday postings don't carry a department field. Use the career site's job-category filter in the link to scrape one department.

**Do I need an account or login?** No. Only public job postings are collected.
