## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### 🚀 YouTube Channel Videos Scraper

List **every video, Short or live stream of any YouTube channel**. The **YouTube Channel Videos Scraper** returns each video's title, URL, view count, duration, publish time and thumbnail, together with the channel's name, @handle, ID and subscriber count. Sort by latest, most popular or oldest, and paste channel URLs, @handles or channel IDs in bulk. Use it to track competitors, audit creators for influencer campaigns, find a channel's top performers or collect video URLs for transcripts and comments.

### ✨ Features

- 🎬 **Videos, Shorts or Live**: Scrape the channel tab you need.
- 🔃 **Latest, Popular or Oldest**: The same sorting as the channel page.
- 📈 **Performance Data**: Views, duration and publish time for every video.
- 👥 **Channel Stats on Every Row**: Channel name, @handle, ID, URL, subscriber count and video count.
- 🔗 **Any Channel Format**: `youtube.com/@handle`, `/channel/UC…`, `/c/…`, `/user/…`, a bare `@handle` or a channel ID.
- 📦 **Bulk Channels**: Many channels per run, each with its own limit.

### 🛠️ How It Works

1. **Paste channels** – URLs, @handles or channel IDs, one per line.
2. **Choose the tab, order and how many videos per channel** – the default is the 50 latest videos.
3. **Run the Scraper** – download the list as JSON, CSV or Excel or pull it through the API.

### ⚙️ Input

| Field                       | What it does                                                      |
| --------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Channels** | Channel URLs, @handles or channel IDs (UC…), one per line. |
| **Content**                 | `videos`, `shorts` or `live` (live streams and past streams).     |
| **Sort by**                 | `latest`, `popular` or `oldest`.                                  |
| **Max videos per channel** | Stop after this many videos for each channel. Default 50. |

```json
{
    "channels": ["https://www.youtube.com/@freecodecamp", "@MrBeast"],
    "contentType": "videos",
    "sortBy": "popular",
    "maxItems": 200
}
```

Shorts rows have the title and view count only: YouTube's Shorts tab does not show the duration or publish time.

### 💰 Pricing

Pay only for the videos you get. No monthly rental.

| Event           | Price                                  | What you get                                       |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| **Video** | $0.0005 per video ($0.50 per 1,000) | One video, Short or stream with the fields below |
| **Actor start** | $0.00005 per run | Charged once when the run starts. |

Examples: 50 videos from 10 channels = $0.25 · 10,000 videos = $5.00.

### ❓ FAQ

**Do I need a YouTube account or API key?** No.

**Why are view and subscriber counts rounded?** The channel page shows them rounded (90K, 11.9M); `viewCount` is that number as an integer and `viewCountText` keeps the original text.

**I entered a channel's @handle and its channel ID. Is it scraped twice?** No. Both resolve to the same channel, which is scraped and charged once.
