## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Ashby Jobs Scraper

Get every open job from companies that hire on [Ashby](https://www.ashbyhq.com), the applicant tracking system used by many AI and tech startups such as OpenAI, Notion and Ramp. Add the companies you care about and get one clean table of their jobs, straight from their official jobs.ashbyhq.com boards. Use it for recruiting and sourcing, sales prospecting (a company that hires is a company that buys), competitor tracking, salary research and startup job boards.

- **Any Ashby board.** Company ids, jobs.ashbyhq.com URLs, single job links and careers pages that embed Ashby.
- **Salary ranges.** Published compensation is split into min, max, currency and period.
- **Fast.** Most boards finish in a few seconds, descriptions included.
- **Filters before you pay.** Job title keywords, locations, remote only, department and posted within the last N days. You are charged only for jobs that match.
- **No login, no API key and no proxy needed.**
- **Low price.** $1.00 per 1,000 jobs.

### What data can you get?

One result is one job posting, with the same fields for every company:

| Field | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| `company`, `companySlug` | OpenAI, openai | |
| `jobId`, `requisitionId` | 9878a31f-423b-43cc-b169-8bb7e55b8fc7 | |
| `title`, `department`, `team` | Land and Data Center Development | |
| `location`, `locations` | San Francisco | Primary location and the full list for multi-location jobs |
| `country`, `countryCode` | United States, US | From Ashby |
| `workplaceType`, `isRemote` | remote / hybrid / onsite | When the company sets it |
| `employmentType`, `seniority` | Full-time | Normalised to Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod`, `salaryText` | | When the company publishes compensation, which many Ashby companies do |
| `postedAt`, `updatedAt` | 2026-10-28T04:39:11Z | Published date, ISO 8601 UTC |
| `jobUrl`, `applyUrl` | | |
| `description`, `descriptionHtml` | | Plain text by default, HTML optional |
| `careerPageUrl`, `scrapedAt` | | The input line the job came from, and when it was collected |

Fields that Ashby does not provide for a job are `null`, so every record has the same columns.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. In **Companies**, add one company per line (see below).
3. Optional: add filters such as job title keywords, locations, remote only or posted within the last N days.
4. Click **Start**, then download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.

#### What do I paste?

| You have | Paste |
|---|---|
| `jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai` | that URL, or just `openai` |
| A link to one job, like `jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/9878a31f-...` | that URL; the Actor reads the whole board |
| The company's own careers page that embeds Ashby | that URL; the Actor looks for the Ashby board it uses |

### How much does it cost?

You pay per saved job: **$1.00 per 1,000 jobs**. There is no start fee and no monthly rental. Filters run before jobs are saved, so you only pay for jobs that match.

| Run | Jobs | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| 10 newest jobs at 5 companies | 50 | $0.05 |
| All jobs at a mid-size company | 300 | $0.30 |
| All jobs at 20 companies, about 150 each | 3,000 | $3.00 |

Set a maximum charge per run in the run options and the Actor stops when it is reached.

### Limits you should know

- **You choose the companies.** This Actor reads the Ashby job boards you give it. It does not search every company on Ashby. To track a market, build a list of companies once and run it on a schedule.
- **Salary only when published.** Many Ashby companies publish a range, but not all.
- **Only Ashby.** Job boards on other systems are skipped with a warning. Use [Career Site Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/pipiagent/career-site-jobs-scraper) for a mixed list.

### Tips

- **Run it on a schedule.** Run the same list every day and compare `jobId` values to see new and closed jobs. A company that suddenly posts many sales jobs is often a good sales lead.
- **Keep datasets small.** Use **Max description length** to cut descriptions, or turn descriptions off when you only need titles and locations.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The Actor reads only public job postings that companies publish on Ashby for anyone to see. It does not log in or get past any protection. Job descriptions can mention recruiter names. Make sure you have a legitimate reason to process personal data, as required by the GDPR and similar laws.

**Do I need a Ashby account or API key?** No.

**Can it apply to jobs?** No. It only collects job postings.

**Something is broken or missing?** Open a ticket in the Issues tab. Issues are usually answered within a day.
