## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs — Greenhouse & Lever

Get **every open job** from company career boards in one clean table — straight from the employers' **official public job-board APIs** (Greenhouse Job Board API, Lever Postings API). No login, no proxies, no recruiter or contact data.

### Why this Actor

- **Just paste company names or career URLs.** The Actor detects whether the company uses Greenhouse or Lever and pulls the board.
- **One normalized schema:** title, department, team, location, country, remote flag, workplace type, employment type, salary (when the employer publishes it), posted date, job URL and apply URL.
- **Reliable and fast** — uses the same public endpoints the companies' own career pages use.
- **Filters built in:** title keywords, locations, remote only, max jobs per company, optional full description.

### Input examples

```json
{
  "companies": ["https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb", "lever:palantir", "stripe"],
  "keywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "locations": ["London", "Remote"],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "includeDescription": false
}
```

Accepted formats: careers URL · `ats:slug` (e.g. `lever:palantir`) · plain company name (auto-detect).

### Output (one row per job)

`company, ats, boardId, jobId, title, department, team, location, country, isRemote, workplaceType, employmentType, salaryText, salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryCurrency, salaryInterval, postedAt, updatedAt, url, applyUrl, description, input, scrapedAt`

### Use cases

Job aggregators and niche job boards · hiring-signal research (who is hiring for what) · labour-market research · competitor hiring tracking · daily job alerts (schedule the Actor).

### Notes

- **Supported sources (v1.2): Greenhouse and Lever only.** Both providers document their job-board APIs as public. Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Recruitee support was removed in v1.2; inputs pointing to them are reported as not supported and no requests are sent to those services.
- Only companies that publish a public job board on Greenhouse or Lever can be found. Companies not found are listed in the run status.
- **Personal data:** recruiter names and contact fields are never collected. When *Include full job description* is on, any e-mail address or phone number written inside the employer's description text is replaced with `[email removed]` / `[phone removed]`.
- Requests to each host are sent one at a time, at least 1.5 s apart.
- Not affiliated with Greenhouse or Lever.
