## FINN Car Scraper

Get **used car listings from finn.no** (Norway's largest car marketplace) from any search: **make, model, version, model year, mileage in km, fuel, gearbox, price in NOK, city, approximate coordinates, private seller or dealer, dealer name, electric range, warranty, labels, photos, publication date**. Type a keyword ("tesla model y", "volvo xc60") or paste car search URLs copied from finn.no with your filters.

Plain HTTP requests, no browser: **no login, no account, no cookies**. The Actor reads only the public search pages, one page at a time per search with a pause between pages, and respects FINN's robots.txt.

Missing values are always `null`, never guessed. Nothing is collected about private sellers (no name, phone, user ID, registration or chassis number). No description or equipment list: the Actor does not open listing pages. A search without cars (or blocked, or unreadable) gets one free row with `found: false`, a `status` and a `message`.

Free: searches without cars, pages that are blocked or cannot be read, cards without year, make or price, other sections of the site, duplicates and input mistakes. On the free Apify plan, a run reads up to 3 searches and 50 cars per search.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The Actor reads only pages anyone can see without an account, at a slow pace, and respects robots.txt. It keeps no data about private persons (no private seller name, phone, ID, plate or VIN). FINN's terms of use restrict automated access: you are responsible for how you use the data. This is not legal advice.

**Why are some searches empty or BLOCKED?** If FINN refuses a request (rate limit or bot check), the Actor stops that search and charges nothing beyond the results already delivered. If this happens after the first page, the run summary warns that the search stopped early and its results are partial. It never solves or bypasses a check. Try again later or with fewer searches per run.

**Can I filter by make and model?** Yes: pick them on finn.no and paste the URL (e.g. `variant=0.818` is Volvo). A keyword such as "volvo xc60" also works.

**Can I get the description, equipment list or the seller's phone?** No: the Actor reads the search pages only, and never collects contact details of private persons. Need another field? Open an issue.
