## Marktplaats Scraper

Get **listings from marktplaats.nl**, the largest classifieds site of the Netherlands, from any search: **title, price in EUR, price type (fixed, bids, see description), city, date, main image, start of the description, condition, pick-up or shipping, attributes (brand…), business seller name and website, promoted or reserved**. Type a keyword or paste search URLs copied from marktplaats.nl.

Plain HTTP requests, no browser: **no login, no account, no cookies**. The Actor reads only the public search pages, one page at a time per search with a pause between pages, and respects marktplaats.nl's robots.txt.

Missing values are always `null`, never guessed. Nothing is collected about private sellers beyond the city of the item (no name, no seller ID, no coordinates). A search without listings (or blocked, or unreadable) gets one free row with `found: false`, a `status` and a `message`.

- **searches**: one per line, up to 100 per run: a keyword or a search URL from marktplaats.nl (`/q/…` or a category `/l/…`). Filters after `#` in the address bar are applied by your browser, not sent to the site: narrow a search with a category URL and keywords instead.
- **maxResultsPerSearch**: 1 to 600 (default 100). Marktplaats shows 30 listings per page; the Actor reads up to 20 pages per search.

Listings found by two of your searches are returned and billed once.

Free: searches without listings, pages that are blocked or cannot be read, duplicates and input mistakes. On the free Apify plan, a run reads up to 3 searches and 30 listings per search.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The Actor reads only pages anyone can see without an account, at a slow pace, and respects robots.txt. It keeps no personal data about private sellers. Marktplaats's terms of use restrict automated access: you are responsible for how you use the data. This is not legal advice.

**Why are some searches empty or BLOCKED?** If Marktplaats refuses a request (rate limit or bot check), the Actor stops that search and charges nothing beyond the results already delivered. If this happens after the first page, the run summary warns that the search stopped early and its results are partial. It never solves or bypasses a check. Try again later or with fewer searches per run.

**Can I get the full description, all photos or the seller's contact?** No: the Actor reads the search pages only, and never collects private sellers' details. Need another field? Open an issue.
