## Pricing

from $0.12 / 1,000 review or app records

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store Reviews Scraper: iOS Reviews and App Details

**Download customer reviews and app details for any iPhone and iPad app, in any App Store country,** from Apple's public iTunes feeds: the iTunes Search and Lookup API and the App Store customer-reviews RSS feed. Get star rating, title, text, app version and date for every review, plus price, rating count, version and release notes for each app. **$0.20 per 1,000 records.**

### What can this App Store reviews scraper do?

- **Scrape reviews** for many apps, by App Store ID (`324684580`) or URL.
- **Find apps by keyword** and include the top results for each term.
- **Cover many countries** in one run (`us`, `gb`, `de`, `jp`...). Reviews are country-specific.
- **Sort** by most recent or most helpful, and **filter by stars** (for example 1 and 2 for complaints).
- **Add an app details record** per app and country, with optional full description.
- **Combine with Android data:** field names match our Google Play Reviews Scraper.

### What data do you get?

**Review records** (`recordType: "review"`): `appId`, `appName`, `country`, `reviewId`, `title`, `text`, `rating`, `appVersion`, `authorName`, `authorUrl`, `date`, `voteSum`, `voteCount`, `sort`.

**App records** (`recordType: "app"`): `appName`, `bundleId`, `developer`, `seller`, `price`, `currency`, `averageRating`, `ratingCount`, `currentVersionRating`, `currentVersionRatingCount`, `version`, `currentVersionReleaseDate`, `releaseDate`, `releaseNotes`, `description`, `primaryGenre`, `genres`, `contentRating`, `sizeBytes`, `minimumOsVersion`, `languages`, `appUrl`, `developerUrl`, `sellerUrl`, `iconUrl`.

### Who uses it?

- **Product and app teams** reading what users say after each release.
- **Competitive and market researchers** comparing ratings, prices and release cadence across apps and countries.
- **Agencies and ASO consultants** building review reports.
- **Data and AI teams** feeding review text into sentiment, topic analysis or LLM summaries.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free** (or **Start**).
2. Add **Apps** (IDs or URLs) and/or **Search terms**.
3. Choose **Countries**, **Max reviews per app and country** (up to 500) and **Sort**.
4. Run it and export to Excel, CSV or JSON.
5. Schedule it weekly to follow ratings by app version.

```
### Output example
  "voteSum": 0,
  "voteCount": 0,
  "sort": "mostRecent"
}
```

### How much does it cost?

**$0.20 per 1,000 records** ($0.0002 per review or app record), plus a $0.00005 start fee per run.

| You download | You pay |
|---|---|
| 500 reviews of one app | $0.10 |
| 4 apps x 3 countries x 500 reviews (6,000) | $1.20 |
| 50,000 reviews | $10.00 |

You are only charged for records actually returned.

**Volume discounts on higher Apify plans.** The prices above are for the Apify Free plan. On paid plans the per-result price drops automatically: about 15% lower on Bronze, 25% lower on Silver and 38% lower on Gold and above.

### Use it via API, Make, Zapier, n8n or an AI agent

**Apify API.** Start a run and get the results back in one HTTP request (replace `YOUR_API_TOKEN` with the token from Apify Console > Settings > Integrations):

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/plotpointtech~apple-app-store-reviews/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"apps": ["324684580", "570060128"], "countries": ["us", "gb"], "maxReviewsPerApp": 100, "sort": "mostRecent", "ratings": ["1", "2"], "includeAppDetails": true}'
```

For longer jobs, start the run asynchronously and read the dataset when it finishes. Official `apify-client` libraries exist for Python and JavaScript; the **API** tab on this page has ready-made code.

**No-code automation.** Connect the tool to **Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable** or any webhook with Apify integrations, and use **Schedules** in Apify Console to run it hourly, daily or weekly.

**AI agents (MCP).** Give Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP-compatible agent direct access to this tool through the hosted Apify MCP server. Add this server URL to your client:

```
https://mcp.apify.com?tools=plotpointtech/apple-app-store-reviews
```

The agent can then call the tool with the same input fields shown above and read the results.

### FAQ

**Is it legal to scrape App Store reviews?**
The tool uses Apple's public iTunes Search/Lookup API and the public customer-reviews RSS feed, without logging in. Reviews include public nicknames: handle them in line with privacy laws such as GDPR, and follow Apple's terms when you publish review content.

**How many reviews can I get?**
Apple's public feed gives at most the latest 500 reviews per app, country and sort order (10 pages of 50). Older reviews are not available from this feed. Use several countries and both sort orders for more coverage.

**Why did a run return fewer reviews than expected?**
Apple's feed is intermittent and sometimes answers with empty pages. Each page is retried up to 6 times; if pages are still missing, the log says which, and a later run usually fills them.

**Are star-only ratings included?**
No. Apple's feed only includes ratings that come with written reviews. Totals are in the app record's `ratingCount`.

**Does it cover Google Play?**
Use our Google Play Reviews Scraper; the fields match.
