## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Job Board Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters & Recruitee

Get every open job a company lists on its own career board, straight from the job-board feed the hiring platform publishes for embedding listings on career sites. Six applicant tracking systems (ATS) are supported, and all jobs come back in one consistent format.

| ATS | Example input |
|---|---|
| **Greenhouse** | `greenhouse:airbnb` or `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb` |
| **Lever** | `lever:spotify` or `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify` |
| **Ashby** | `ashby:ramp` or `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp` |
| **Workable** | `workable:huggingface` or `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface` |
| **SmartRecruiters** | `smartrecruiters:BoschGroup` or `https://careers.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup` |
| **Recruitee** | `recruitee:bunq` or `https://bunq.recruitee.com` |

You can also paste a company's own careers page. If that page embeds one of the boards above, the tool finds it automatically. Some career sites load their board in a way that cannot be seen in the page source; for those, enter the `ats:slug` pair instead.

### Who uses it

- **Recruiters and staffing agencies** watching target companies for new openings.
- **Sales teams** using hiring activity as a buying signal (for example, a company hiring its first data engineers).
- **Job boards and newsletters** that list roles from a curated set of employers.
- **Analysts and investors** tracking headcount growth, new offices and pay ranges by company.

### Why this tool

- **Direct from each company's board.** No search engine, aggregator or login in between, so listings match what the company publishes right now.
- **Many ATS, one schema.** The same fields for every platform, so you can mix companies freely.
- **Pay ranges where published.** Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever and Recruitee pay ranges are returned as numbers with currency and period.
- **Simple pricing.** You pay per job returned.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Companies | Career-board URLs, careers pages, or `ats:slug` pairs. |
| Title keywords / Exclude title keywords | Keep or drop jobs by words in the title. |
| Location keywords | Match city, country or "Remote". |
| Departments | Match department or team names. |
| Remote jobs only | Keep only jobs the employer marks as remote. |
| Posted within (days) | Keep only recently published jobs. |
| Include description / Description max length | Plain-text job description, optionally shortened. |
| Fetch Greenhouse pay ranges | One extra request per matching Greenhouse job to read its published pay range (on by default). |
| Max jobs per company / Maximum results | Limits. |

### Output

One record per job: `company`, `ats`, `companySlug`, `jobId`, `title`, `department`, `team`, `location`, `locations`, `country`, `workplaceType` (Remote, Hybrid, On-site, or empty when not stated), `isRemote`, `employmentType`, `postedAt`, `updatedAt`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod`, `salaryText`, `jobUrl`, `applyUrl`, `description`, `scrapedAt`.

### Typical use

Schedule a daily run over your list of 50 target companies with "Posted within (days)" set to 1, and send new rows to a spreadsheet or CRM through an Apify integration.

### Notes and limits

- The company slug is the name used in the board URL. SmartRecruiters identifiers are case-sensitive (for example `BoschGroup`).
- Fields depend on what each employer fills in. Lever and Workable do not provide an "updated" date; Workable rarely publishes pay.
- SmartRecruiters descriptions need one extra request per job, so large SmartRecruiters companies take longer.
- Boards that do not exist or have been closed are skipped and noted in the run log; they are not charged.
- Workday, iCIMS, Taleo and other systems are not covered.

Plot Point Technologies is not affiliated with Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee or any employer whose jobs are listed.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Career-board URLs (e.g. https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, https://jobs.lever.co/spotify, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, https://apply.workable.com/huggingface, https://careers.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup, https://bunq.recruitee.com), a company's own careers page that embeds one of these boards, or 'ats:slug' pairs such as greenhouse:airbnb, lever:spotify, ashby:ramp, workable:huggingface, smartrecruiters:BoschGroup, recruitee:bunq.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive), e.g. engineer, data, sales. Leave empty for all.

## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. intern, senior.

## `locationKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location, country or workplace type contains any of these words, e.g. London, United States, Remote.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the job description as plain text (HTML removed).

## `descriptionMaxLength` (type: `integer`):

Cut descriptions to this many characters. 0 = full text.

## `fetchGreenhouseSalaries` (type: `boolean`):

Greenhouse publishes pay ranges on each job's detail record. When on, one extra request is made per matching Greenhouse job to read it.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many matching jobs per company. 0 = no limit.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs in total.
