## Pricing

from $0.92 / 1,000 remote jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Scraper: Remote OK, Jobicy and We Work Remotely

**Get fresh remote job listings from three remote-work job boards in one de-duplicated feed.** This remote jobs scraper reads the public feeds that Remote OK, Jobicy and We Work Remotely publish for reuse, converts every listing into one format (title, company, location or region restriction, salary, seniority, tags, posted date and apply link) and merges jobs posted on more than one board. **$1.49 per 1,000 jobs.**

### What can this remote jobs scraper do?

- **Aggregate three boards:** Remote OK (public JSON API), Jobicy (public Jobs API, last 7 days) and We Work Remotely (public RSS feeds, all categories).
- **Remove duplicates** across boards (same company and title), keeping the other listings in `alsoListedOn`.
- **Filter** by keywords (title, company, category, tags), excluded title words, categories, location or region (USA, UK, Europe, EMEA, LATAM, APAC...), seniority, minimum annual salary and posting date.
- **Normalise salaries** to numbers with currency and period.
- **Carry the required source credit** on every record so you can republish correctly.

### What data do you get?

`title`, `company`, `companyLogo`, `companyUrl`, `category`, `tags`, `location`, `locations`, `country`, `remoteScope` (Worldwide / Restricted / Not specified), `workplaceType`, `isRemote`, `employmentType`, `seniority`, `postedAt`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod`, `salaryText`, `jobUrl`, `applyUrl`, `description`, `source`, `sourceName`, `sourceUrl`, `attribution`, `alsoListedOn`, `jobId`, `scrapedAt`.

Field names match our Greenhouse, Lever & Ashby Jobs Scraper wherever they overlap.

### Who uses it?

- **Remote job boards, newsletters and communities** that want a filtered feed of fresh remote roles.
- **Recruiters and sourcers** tracking which companies hire remotely.
- **Job seekers** who want one de-duplicated list instead of checking several boards.
- **Analysts** studying remote hiring, salary ranges and location restrictions.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free** (or **Start**).
2. Add **Keywords** (for example `engineer`, `designer`) and optional **Location / region** filters.
3. Set **Posted within (days)** and **Maximum results**.
4. Run it (usually well under a minute) and export to Excel, CSV or JSON.
5. Schedule it daily to feed your board, newsletter or Slack channel.

### How much does it cost?

**$1.49 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.00149 each), plus a $0.00005 start fee per run.

| You get | You pay |
|---|---|
| 100 newest remote jobs | $0.15 |
| A daily feed of 100 jobs for a month | about $4.50 |
| 1,000 jobs | $1.49 |

**Volume discounts on higher Apify plans.** The prices above are for the Apify Free plan. On paid plans the per-result price drops automatically: about 15% lower on Bronze, 25% lower on Silver and 38% lower on Gold and above.

### Use it via API, Make, Zapier, n8n or an AI agent

**Apify API.** Start a run and get the results back in one HTTP request (replace `YOUR_API_TOKEN` with the token from Apify Console > Settings > Integrations):

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/plotpointtech~remote-jobs-aggregator/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"keywords": ["engineer", "developer"], "locations": ["USA", "Europe"], "includeWorldwide": true, "salaryMin": 80000, "includeJobsWithoutSalary": true, "postedWithinDays": 14, "maxResults": 100}'
```

For longer jobs, start the run asynchronously and read the dataset when it finishes. Official `apify-client` libraries exist for Python and JavaScript; the **API** tab on this page has ready-made code.

**No-code automation.** Connect the tool to **Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable** or any webhook with Apify integrations, and use **Schedules** in Apify Console to run it hourly, daily or weekly.

**AI agents (MCP).** Give Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP-compatible agent direct access to this tool through the hosted Apify MCP server. Add this server URL to your client:

```
https://mcp.apify.com?tools=plotpointtech/remote-jobs-aggregator
```

The agent can then call the tool with the same input fields shown above and read the results.

### FAQ

**Is it legal to use these remote job listings?**
Yes, with credit. All three boards publish these feeds for reuse on the condition that you credit them: Remote OK requires a followed link to the job's Remote OK URL and a mention of Remote OK (no logo); Jobicy requires credit and apply links pointing to the Jobicy job URL; We Work Remotely requires credit and a link to the job page. Every record carries `sourceName`, `jobUrl` and an `attribution` sentence for this. You are responsible for following each board's terms when publishing.

**How many jobs are available?**
Remote OK's API returns its latest ~100 jobs, Jobicy's free feed covers the last 7 days, and We Work Remotely's feeds hold the current listings per category.

**Why do We Work Remotely jobs have no salary or logo?**
Their RSS feeds are syndication-style: title, company, region, category, date and link. Open `jobUrl` for the full listing.

**How often should I run it?**
The boards update a few times a day and ask API users not to poll more than about once an hour. Feeds are reused for up to 60 minutes by default.

**Does it include LinkedIn or Indeed jobs?**
No. It only uses boards that publish feeds for reuse.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title, company, category or tags contain any of these words (whole-word, case-insensitive), e.g. python, designer, customer support. Leave empty for all.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. intern, sales.

## `searchDescriptions` (type: `boolean`):

Match keywords against the full job description too (more results, less precise).

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose board category or tags contain any of these, e.g. Programming, Design, Marketing, Customer Support, DevOps, Data Science, Sales, Product, Finance.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs open to candidates in any of these places or regions, e.g. USA, Canada, UK, Europe, EMEA, LATAM, APAC, Americas, Germany. Common synonyms are matched (USA = United States, Europe = EMEA/EU). Time-zone requirements are only matched when a board writes them into the location.

## `includeWorldwide` (type: `boolean`):

When filtering by location, also keep jobs open worldwide or with no location restriction stated.

## `seniority` (type: `array`):

Keep only these levels: Entry, Mid, Senior, Lead, Executive. Level comes from the board where given (Jobicy) or from the job title; jobs with no detectable level are dropped when this is set.

## `salaryMin` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs whose top of range, converted to a yearly figure (hourly x 2080, monthly x 12), is at least this amount. Currencies are not converted. Leave empty for no salary filter.

## `includeJobsWithoutSalary` (type: `boolean`):

With a minimum salary set, also keep jobs that do not state a salary.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs posted in the last N days. Jobicy's public feed only covers the last 7 days.

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which job boards to include.

## `dedupe` (type: `boolean`):

The same job (same company + normalised title) posted on several boards is returned once, with the other listings in alsoListedOn.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the job description as plain text (HTML removed).

## `descriptionMaxLength` (type: `integer`):

Cut descriptions to this many characters. 0 = full text.

## `useCache` (type: `boolean`):

The boards update a few times a day and ask API users not to poll more than about once an hour. Feeds fetched by your own runs in the last 60 minutes are reused from a key-value store in your account.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs (newest first).
