## Pricing

from $1.40 / 1,000 comments

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**✅ No cookies · ✅ No LinkedIn login · ✅ Your LinkedIn account is never used, so it can't be restricted**

### What is LinkedIn Profile Comments Scraper?

**LinkedIn Profile Comments Scraper** extracts **the comments any LinkedIn profile wrote**, each with **the post it was written on** (text, URL, author and counts). **No cookies, no LinkedIn account, no risk to your own profile.**

Built by **Pluckify** on a fast, maintained LinkedIn data API: no browser, no proxies to configure, results in seconds. One Actor, one job: this one does exactly what its name says.

### What data can you extract?

| Data | Fields |
| --- | --- |
| Comment | text, date, URL, reactions and replies on the comment |
| Post | text, URL, date, author and engagement of the post commented on |

Every item carries the `input` it came from, so you can join results back to your list.

### How to use LinkedIn Profile Comments Scraper

1. Click **Try for free** and open the **Input** tab.
2. Paste one or more **profile URLs** (`https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates/`). Public identifiers (`williamhgates`) and profile URNs work too. Set **Max comments per profile**.
3. Click **Start**. Results appear in the **Output** tab as they are scraped.
4. Download them as **JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML**, or fetch them from the API.

### How much does it cost?

You pay **only for the results you get**, with no subscription and no proxy costs:

| Result | Price per 1,000 results |
| --- | --- |
| Comment | $1.40 |

Inputs that return nothing are **free**: they show up as items with an `error` field. The **Pricing** tab always shows the current prices. Set a **maximum cost per run** and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached. On Apify's free plan, each run returns up to 25 results so you can try the Actor; any paid Apify plan removes the limit.

### Use cases

- 🎯 **Intent signals**: see which topics a prospect engages with.
- 🗞️ **Influencer research**: follow where key voices join the conversation.
- 🤝 **Social selling**: join the threads your prospects comment on.

### FAQ

#### Do I need a LinkedIn account or cookies?

No. The Actor never logs in to LinkedIn and never asks for your cookies, so your own account is never at risk.

#### Why does an input return an error?

`NOT_FOUND` means it doesn’t exist or is no longer public. `INVALID_INPUT` explains what to fix. `TEMPORARILY_UNAVAILABLE` is transient: run the same input again. None of them is charged.

#### Is it legal to scrape LinkedIn?

The Actor only extracts publicly visible data. Personal data is protected by regulations such as the GDPR in the EU: only scrape it with a legitimate reason, and check with your lawyers if you are unsure. Pluckify is not affiliated with LinkedIn.

#### Can I use it from my code or with other tools?

Yes. Run it through the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), the JavaScript or Python client, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, or an AI agent through MCP. Schedule it to keep your data fresh.

#### Something doesn’t work as expected?

Open an issue in the **Issues** tab with the input you used: we answer quickly and fix fast.
