## Pricing

from $2.00 / 1,000 ted notices

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU Public Tenders (TED) — Procurement Notices & Contract Awards API

**Search every EU public tender and contract award notice** published on [TED (Tenders Electronic Daily)](https://ted.europa.eu), the official EU journal for public procurement, and get clean JSON/CSV/Excel. Over 700,000 notices a year from 27 EU countries plus EEA, Switzerland, Ukraine and more. Uses the **official TED Search API**: no scraping, no login, no API key.

### What can it do?

- 🔎 **Find tenders** (calls for competition) by keyword in any EU language, CPV code, buyer country and date.
- 🏆 **Track contract awards**: winning companies, awarded values and buyers — great for competitor and market research.
- 📅 **Daily tender alerts**: schedule it with `daysBack: 1` and send new notices to Slack, email, Google Sheets or your CRM.
- 🌍 **One row per notice** with a title in your preferred language, deadline, estimated value, CPV codes, NUTS place of performance, buyer contact and links to the official HTML and PDF.

### Input example

```json
{ "keywords": ["software", "cybersecurity"], "countries": ["DEU", "FRA"], "noticeTypes": ["competition"], "daysBack": 7 }
```

Contract awards for roofing works in the last 30 days:

```json
{ "cpvCodes": ["4526"], "noticeTypes": ["award"], "daysBack": 30 }
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "publicationNumber": "681675-2026",
  "title": "Germany – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – Beratungs- und Unterstützungsleistungen für IPv6-Migrationen … - Los 2",
  "noticeType": "cn-standard", "procedureType": "open", "contractNature": ["services"],
  "publicationDate": "2026-10-05", "deadline": "2026-10-27",
  "buyerName": "Bundesrepublik Deutschland, vertreten durch das Beschaffungsamt des BMI",
  "buyerCountry": "DEU", "buyerCity": "Bonn", "buyerWebsite": "http://www.bescha.bund.de",
  "cpvCodes": ["72000000", "72100000", "72260000"], "placeOfPerformance": ["DEA22", "DEU"],
  "estimatedValue": null, "winnerNames": [],
  "url": "https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/-/detail/681675-2026",
  "pdfUrl": "https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/681675-2026/pdf", "source": "TED"
}
```

Award notices also fill `winnerNames`, `awardedTotalValue` and `awardedTotalValueCurrency`.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$3 per 1,000 notices** (cheaper on higher Apify plans). Only notices saved to your dataset are charged; API errors are free. Set a max charge per run and the Actor stops cleanly at your budget.

### Tips

- Country codes are ISO 3166 alpha-3 (`DEU`, `FRA`, `ITA`, `ESP`, `POL`, `NLD`, `IRL`, `BEL`, `SWE`…).
- CPV prefixes: `45` construction, `4526` roof works, `48` software packages, `72` IT services, `79` business services, `85` health.
- Power users can add any TED expert-search clause in **Advanced: TED expert query**.
- Need UK tenders too? Use our [UK Public Tenders](https://apify.com/plumbline-data/uk-public-tenders) Actor (Find a Tender + Contracts Finder).

### Data source & legality

Data comes from the official TED API run by the Publications Office of the EU. TED notices may be reused freely under the Commission's reuse policy (Decision 2011/833/EU). Buyer contact details are official organisational contacts published in the notices.

### FAQ

**How fresh is it?** TED publishes on working days; the Actor queries live, so new notices appear the same day.
**Can I get all notices without filters?** Yes — leave keywords/countries empty and set a short date range.
**Something wrong?** Open an issue on the Actor's Issues tab and we'll fix it fast.
