## Pricing

from $2.40 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Careers Page Jobs Scraper

Jobs from any company careers page or job board as rows: full description, salary range, remote or hybrid, seniority, skills, benefits, locations, and post date. For recruiters, job boards, labor-market analysts, and sales teams who treat hiring as a buying signal.

- **Price:** $3.00 per 1,000 jobs. No subscription; you pay only for jobs saved. Failed inputs are free. Try it on Apify's free plan (up to 20 jobs per run).
- **Per careers page:** 10 to 500 jobs per company in our tests of 38 companies.
- **Export:** JSON, CSV, Excel, Google Sheets, or the API. Works with Make, Zapier, n8n, and AI agents (MCP).

Every run tells you plainly what worked and what did not: no silent empty runs.

### What you can do with it

- **Job board or alerts:** paste company careers pages and schedule the run; new `jobId` values are new openings, and `datePosted` says when they went up.
- **Salary benchmarks:** compare `salaryMin` and `salaryMax` by `jobFunction`, `experienceLevel`, and `city` across companies.
- **Hiring signals for sales:** a company opening sales, data, or security roles is buying; `department` and `jobFunction` show where it is growing.
- **Talent research:** see where companies hire, which `skills` they ask for, and how many roles are remote (`workArrangement`).

One company gave 10 to 500 jobs in our tests; job-board feeds return in 1 to 5 seconds.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$3.00 per 1,000 rows**, plus **$0.001** per run start. No subscription.

| Event | When | Price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Actor start | Once per run (per GB of memory; the default 256 MB counts as one) | $0.001 |
| Result row | Each row saved to the dataset | $0.003 |

| Example | Rows | Cost |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 10 jobs | 10 | $0.001 + $0.03 = **$0.031** |
| 100 jobs | 100 | $0.001 + $0.30 = **$0.301** |
| 1,000 jobs | 1,000 | $0.001 + $3.00 = **$3.001** |

- Retries after a bot check or a temporary error cost you nothing. You pay only for rows saved.
- An input that fails after all retries saves one error row so you can see what failed and why. Error rows are free.
- On Apify's free plan a run stops at 20 rows. Any paid Apify plan removes this limit.
- Set **Max total charge per run** in the run options. The Actor stops cleanly at that limit and keeps every row saved so far.

### What you can count on

- **Same columns on every row.** Missing values are `null`, so spreadsheets and databases never break.
- **No silent failures.** An input that fails gets an error row with `errorCode` and a plain-language `errorMessage`. The other inputs keep running.
- **A clear run summary.** The run status says how many results were saved, how many inputs failed, and why. The same numbers are saved as the `RUN_SUMMARY` record in the run's key-value store, for automations.
- **Automatic retries.** Bot checks and temporary errors are retried with a fresh request before an input counts as failed.
- **Limits respected.** **Max results** and your spending limit stop the run cleanly.

### Use it from code, automations, and AI agents

**API** (returns the rows when the run finishes):

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/plumblinedata~careers-page-jobs-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"startUrls": [{"url": "https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/figma"}, {"url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/notion"}, {"url": "https://jobs.lever.co/spotify"}], "maxJobsPerCompany": 25, "includeDescription": true}'
```

**Python** (`pip install apify-client`):

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_API_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("plumblinedata/careers-page-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={"startUrls": [{"url": "https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/figma"}, {"url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/notion"}, {"url": "https://jobs.lever.co/spotify"}], "maxJobsPerCompany": 25, "includeDescription": true})
for row in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(row)
```

**JavaScript** (`npm install apify-client`):

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_API_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('plumblinedata/careers-page-jobs-scraper').call({"startUrls": [{"url": "https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/figma"}, {"url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/notion"}, {"url": "https://jobs.lever.co/spotify"}], "maxJobsPerCompany": 25, "includeDescription": true});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
```

**No-code:** connect the Actor in Make, Zapier, n8n, or Google Sheets through Apify's integrations, or add a webhook to get notified when a run finishes.

**AI agents (MCP):** add `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=plumblinedata/careers-page-jobs-scraper` to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. The agent can call this Actor as a tool with the same input as above.

### Limitations

- Reads 26 job-board systems directly (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Recruitee, Teamtailor, Rippling, BambooHR, Oracle, UKG, ADP, Paylocity, Taleo, Eightfold, Jobvite, iCIMS, Personio, Breezy, JazzHR, Zoho Recruit, Deel, Google Careers, Avature, and amazon.jobs) and custom careers pages through their links, feeds, and page data.
- A few sites block automated visits entirely; they return a free error row or very few jobs.
- Salary appears only where the posting states pay; many companies publish none.
- Company size, funding, and LinkedIn data are not on careers pages, so they are not included.

### FAQ

**What can I paste?**
A company's careers page (`stripe.com/jobs`), its job-board URL (`job-boards.greenhouse.io/figma`), or a plain company domain.

**Does it include the full job description?**
Yes, as `descriptionText` and `descriptionHtml`. Turn off **Include description** for faster, lighter rows.

**How do I track new jobs?**
Schedule the run and compare by `jobId`, which stays the same for a posting between runs.

**Do companies with no jobs cost anything?**
No. A URL with no openings returns one free error row.

**How do I scrape Greenhouse job postings?**
Paste the company's Greenhouse board, such as `job-boards.greenhouse.io/figma`, into **Careers pages or job boards** (`startUrls`). Each opening becomes a row with title, location, salary, and the full description.

**How to scrape jobs from Lever, Ashby, or Workday career sites**
Paste the job-board URL or the company's careers page into **Careers pages or job boards** (`startUrls`). The Actor reads 26 job-board systems directly, including Lever, Ashby, and Workday.

**How to get remote jobs from company career pages**
Turn on **Remote only** (`remoteOnly`) and add the companies to **Careers pages or job boards** (`startUrls`). Use **Title keywords** (`keyword`) to narrow by role.

**What does an error row mean?**
It marks an input that failed after retries. `errorCode` is short (`blocked`, `empty_result`, `not_available`, `http_404`, or `invalid_...` for a bad ID or URL) and `errorMessage` says what to do. Remove error rows with a filter on `type`.

**Can I run it on a schedule?**
Yes. Create a task with your input in Apify Console, then add a schedule (for example every day at 8:00).

**Is it legal to collect this data?**
The Actor reads public pages that anyone can open without logging in. You are responsible for how you use the data, including copyright, personal data rules such as GDPR, and the site's terms. If you are not sure, ask a lawyer.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

One per line. Any of these work: a company careers page (https://stripe.com/jobs, https://www.notion.com/careers), a job-board URL (https://boards.greenhouse.io/figma, https://jobs.lever.co/spotify, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai, https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite, https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Bosch), or just the company domain (figma.com). Supported boards: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Personio, Workday, Teamtailor, Breezy HR, Rippling, BambooHR, JazzHR, Zoho Recruit, Oracle Cloud HCM, UKG Pro (UltiPro), ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, Taleo, Eightfold, Jobvite, iCIMS, Avature, Deel, Google Careers, amazon.jobs. Other careers pages are read from their structured data, job feed, job links, the job data their scripts load, or by the page reader.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs for each start URL. The form starts at 25 for a quick first run; clear it to keep every open job (up to 10,000 per company).

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Save `descriptionText` and `descriptionHtml` on every row. Turn off for smaller exports; salary, skills, seniority and the other derived fields are still filled from the description.

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

Keep only jobs whose title, department or team contains one of these words. Comma-separated, for example `engineer, data scientist`. Case does not matter.

## `location` (type: `string`):

Keep only jobs in one of these places: a city, region, country or country code, comma-separated, for example `London, Germany, US`. Remote jobs are kept when the place is in their remote region, or when they are remote anywhere.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs whose `workArrangement` is remote (the board's remote flag, the location, the title, or the description says so). Hybrid jobs are left out.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs posted in the last N days, for example 7. Jobs with no posting date are left out when this is set.
