## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Ads Transparency by Company

Is a company advertising on Google, since when, and with what kind of ads? Give this Actor a list of company domains
and it returns the Google ads that lead to each one, read live from Google's Ads Transparency Center when you run it.

It is for sales and marketing teams that qualify accounts by ad spend signals, for agencies that watch competitors,
and for lead-generation tools that enrich a list of company domains.

### What you get

One row per ad whose landing page is on your domain, from every advertiser that is a company (the agency that runs a
company's ads shows up too). Ads run by people, or by advertisers whose verified name has no company form such as Inc,
LLC, Ltd or GmbH, are left out and not charged.

Each run with a valid input that reaches its proxy servers also writes a free `SUMMARY` record with one entry per
domain: whether it was read, how many ads were returned and left out, and Google's count range of all ads that lead to
the domain. Set `maxAdsPerDomain: 1` to get that count range for many domains at the lowest cost.

#### Example input

```json
{ "domains": ["stripe.com", "https://www.hubspot.com/pricing"], "maxAdsPerDomain": 40 }
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "domain": "stripe.com",
  "advertiserId": "AR16951989901585285121",
  "advertiserName": "Stripe, Inc.",
  "creativeId": "CR13925432327627866113",
  "format": "text",
  "firstShown": "2025-08-07T15:40:39Z",
  "lastShown": "2026-10-26T16:21:32Z",
  "daysShown": 446,
  "landingDomain": "stripe.com",
  "adUrl": "https://adstransparency.google.com/advertiser/AR16951989901585285121/creative/CR13925432327627866113?region=anywhere",
  "advertiserUrl": "https://adstransparency.google.com/advertiser/AR16951989901585285121?region=anywhere",
  "checkedAt": "2026-10-26T16:30:00Z"
}
```

Ads come newest first (by last shown). `daysShown` is Google's count of days the ad was shown.

### Pricing

You pay per ad returned, plus Apify's small per-run start fee. Left-out ads, domains with no ads, and domains Google
did not answer are free. Set a maximum charge per run and the Actor stops reading new domains when it is reached.

### Limits

1. Up to 1,000 domains and 1,000 ads per domain per run.
2. Google sometimes refuses automated reads. The Actor then tries other connections and, when Google keeps refusing,
   marks the domain as not read in the `SUMMARY` record. A run where no domain could be read fails and charges no ads (Apify's start fee still applies).
3. No ad images, videos or text: only facts about each ad and links to its page on Google's site.

# Actor input Schema

## `domains` (type: `array`):

The companies to look up. Each value is reduced to its registrable domain (https://www.Acme.io/pricing becomes acme.io), then de-duplicated. You get the ads whose landing page is on that domain, from any advertiser that is a company. Values that are not a domain are listed in the SUMMARY record.

## `maxAdsPerDomain` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many ads for one domain. Google lists the ads that ran most recently first.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "domains": [
    "stripe.com"
  ],
  "maxAdsPerDomain": 10
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `ads` (type: `string`):

One row per ad returned. Each row is one ad charge.

## `summary` (type: `string`):

Per domain: read or not, ads returned and left out, and Google's count range of all ads that lead to it. Free.

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
