## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SIRENE Scraper: French Company Leads with Website, Emails & Phones

**SIRENE Scraper** builds **targeted lists of French companies** straight from the **official SIRENE register** (26M+ companies) and, optionally, **finds their website, generic emails, phone numbers and social profiles**.

- ✅ **Official, legal source**: INSEE SIRENE + national company register (RNE) open data. No Pappers or Societe.com scraping, no account, no ban.
- 🎯 **Precise targeting**: NAF/APE code, département, postal code, region, headcount, company category, legal form, revenue, creation date, labels (RGE, Bio, Qualiopi, ESS…).
- 🆕 **New business prospecting**: filter on *Created after* to get the companies registered last month.
- 🌐 **Website + contacts**: domain discovery verified against the SIREN, name and address, then email, phone and social extraction.

### Who is it for?

- **B2B sales teams and SDRs**: build prospect lists by sector and area, e.g. every web agency in Lyon.
- **Agencies and freelancers**: find newly created companies that need a website, an accountant or insurance.
- **Lead-generation and data providers**: enrich CRM records with SIREN, SIRET, VAT number and NAF code.
- **Market researchers**: count and map companies by sector, size and region.

### How much does it cost?

You pay **per company returned**, plus a small extra event **only when a website is found and enriched** (see the *Pricing* tab for the exact prices).

| Use case | Companies | Websites found | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 companies, register data only | 100 | — | $0.20 |
| 1,000 companies, register data only | 1,000 | — | $2 |
| 1,000 SMEs with *Find website* on (about 2 in 3 have a website) | 1,000 | ~650 | ~$5.90 |

Apify's free plan includes monthly credits, which are enough for a first test of a few hundred companies.

### How to get a list of French companies

1. Choose your filters: NAF codes, départements or region, headcount, creation date.
2. Optionally add a keyword (company name or activity).
3. Turn on **Find website and contacts** if you need emails and phone numbers.
4. Click **Start**, then download the list as Excel, CSV or JSON.
5. To get new companies every month, [schedule](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) the run with *Created after* set to last month.

#### Examples

**Web agencies in Lyon created since 2024:**

```json
{ "nafCodes": ["73.11Z", "62.01Z"], "departements": ["69"], "createdAfter": "2024-01-01", "maxResults": 500, "findWebsite": true }
```

**RGE-certified heating installers in Brittany with 10+ employees:**

```json
{ "nafCodes": ["43.22B"], "regions": ["53"], "employeeRanges": ["11", "12", "21"], "flags": ["est_rge"] }
```

### Output

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `name`, `legalName`, `tradeNames` | ACME, LES ATELIERS ACME, Acme Studio |
| `siren`, `siret`, `vatNumber` | 732829320, 73282932000074, FR44732829320 |
| `nafCode`, `nafCode2025`, `legalForm`, `category` | 62.01Z, 62.10Y (new NAF 2025 code), 5710 (SAS), PME |
| `employees`, `isEmployer` | 20-49, true |
| `creationDate`, `active` | 2015-03-01, true |
| `address`, `postalCode`, `city`, `latitude`, `longitude` | 1 rue X 75001 Paris (head office) |
| `matchedEstablishment` | the local branch that matched your geographic filter when the head office is elsewhere, otherwise null |
| `revenue`, `netIncome`, `financialYear` | when accounts are published |
| `labels` | rge, bio, qualiopi… |
| `executives` | role, name, birth year (public register data) |
| `website`, `websiteConfidence` | https://acme.fr, `high` (SIREN found on site), `medium` (name + address found) or `low` (company name is the site title, check it) |
| `primaryEmail`, `emails`, `phones`, `socials` | contact@acme.fr, +33123456789, LinkedIn page… |

In our tests, a website was found for about **13 in 20 SMEs** with 10 to 49 employees. Very young companies (micro-entrepreneurs) often have no website at all.

### Integrations and API

- Run it from your code with the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2) or the JavaScript and Python clients.
- Send new companies to **Google Sheets, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Make, Zapier or n8n** with [integrations](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations).
- AI agents can find and run it through the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp).

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** SIRENE and RNE are official open data published by the French State. **GDPR**: executives' names come from the public register. Generic business contacts (contact@, switchboard) can generally be used for B2B prospecting under legitimate interest, with an opt-out in every message. You remain responsible for how you use the data.

**How many companies can I get?** The register API returns at most 10,000 companies per search. For bigger extractions, split by département or NAF code.

**How is the website found?** The Actor guesses likely domains (`name.fr`, `name.com`…) and keeps a site only if it mentions the SIREN, or the company name with its postal code or city. Companies with generic names or without a website will often have none.

**Why is the address in another département?** The address is the head office. When a branch matches your filter, it is in `matchedEstablishment`.
