## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Sports Bookmakers Odds Scraper

Pull betting odds with opening and current lines — moneyline, point spread, totals, soccer draws, and UFC fight props — for major US leagues, top European soccer competitions, UFC, and golf tours. Each dataset row is one outcome quote (event × bookmaker × market × outcome), ready for spreadsheets and models. No API key and no login required.

#### What you get

- One row per outcome quote with American and decimal prices on every row
- Moneyline (`h2h`) for home and away, plus `Draw` for soccer three-way markets
- Point spread / puck line / run line with the line and price on each side
- Totals (over / under) with the line and juice
- Opening vs current: `openPrice`, `openPoint`, plus `priceMovement` and `pointMovement`
- Live scores, game status, venue, team abbreviations, and a stable `eventId`
- UFC fight cards: moneyline, total rounds, and available fight props
- Golf: board scrape when bookmaker markets are listed (outright coverage varies by event)

#### Supported leagues

| Key | League |
| --- | --- |
| `nfl` | NFL |
| `ncaaf` | NCAA Football |
| `nba` | NBA |
| `wnba` | WNBA |
| `ncaam` / `ncaaw` | NCAA Men's / Women's Basketball |
| `mlb` | MLB |
| `nhl` | NHL |
| `mls` | MLS |
| `epl` | English Premier League |
| `laliga` | La Liga |
| `seriea` | Serie A |
| `bundesliga` | Bundesliga |
| `ligue1` | Ligue 1 |
| `ucl` | UEFA Champions League |
| `uel` | UEFA Europa League |
| `ufc` | UFC |
| `pga` | PGA Tour |
| `dpworld` | DP World Tour |
| `liv` | LIV Golf |

Pass multiple league keys to scrape several leagues in one run.

#### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `leagues` | array | `["nfl"]` | One or more league keys from the table above |
| `dates` | string | today (UTC) | `YYYYMMDD` or `YYYYMMDD-YYYYMMDD`. Empty = today. Golf uses the current open board |
| `oddsFormat` | string | `american` | `american` or `decimal` for the primary `price` / `openPrice` fields (both formats are always included as columns) |
| `maxItems` | integer | `0` | Max rows per run. `0` = no cap |

#### Example

```json
{
  "leagues": ["nfl", "epl"],
  "oddsFormat": "american",
  "maxItems": 200
}
```

#### Output fields

`league`, `leagueName`, `eventId`, `eventName`, `commenceTime`, `status`, `completed`, `venue`, `homeTeam`, `homeTeamAbbr`, `homeScore`, `awayTeam`, `awayTeamAbbr`, `awayScore`, `bookmaker`, `marketKey`, `outcomeName`, `price`, `priceAmerican`, `priceDecimal`, `point`, `openPrice`, `openPriceAmerican`, `openPriceDecimal`, `openPoint`, `priceMovement`, `pointMovement`, `oddsFormat`, `details`, `fetchedAt`

#### Market keys

| `marketKey` | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `h2h` | Moneyline |
| `spreads` | Point spread / handicap |
| `totals` | Over / Under |
| `method_of_victory` / `props` | UFC fight props when listed |
| `outrights` | Golf winner markets when listed |

#### Notes

- Bookmaker coverage follows what the public odds feed exposes for each slate (often DraftKings for US sports and soccer)
- Completed games keep closing-line style quotes when still available
- Preseason / off-season / early-week golf events may return few or no rows until books open markets
- Residential proxies are optional; the default public endpoints usually work without a proxy
