## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does ATS Job Postings do?

ATS Job Postings returns **every open job from a company's Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, SmartRecruiters, Personio, Teamtailor, Breezy or Rippling job board** as flat, clean rows. It reads each applicant tracking system's own public job-board API, so there is no login, no proxy and no scraping of web pages. It does not search across companies: you name the boards.

### Who is it for?

Recruiters and sourcers tracking hiring at target companies, job-board builders, sales teams watching hiring signals, and analysts studying pay and remote work. Schedule it daily to see what changed.

### Why use it?

- **Official public APIs.** The same feeds the companies use for their own career pages.
- **One schema for eleven systems.** Title, location, department, type, workplace, remote flag, pay range, dates, links and plain-text description, whichever system the company uses.
- **Cheap.** $1.40 per 1,000 jobs.
- **Apify platform extras.** Schedules, API access, webhooks, integrations and datasets in JSON, CSV or Excel.

### How to use it

1. Find a company's job-board URL. `jobs.lever.co/palantir` gives `lever:palantir`, `boards.greenhouse.io/stripe` gives `greenhouse:stripe`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/ashby` gives `ashby:ashby`, `bunq.recruitee.com` gives `recruitee:bunq`, `apply.workable.com/huggingface` gives `workable:huggingface`, `jobs.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup` gives `smartrecruiters:BoschGroup`, `personio.jobs.personio.de` gives `personio:personio`, `career.teamtailor.com` gives `teamtailor:career`, `breezy.breezy.hr` gives `breezy:breezy`, `ats.rippling.com/rippling/jobs` gives `rippling:rippling`.
2. Paste one entry per company into **Job boards**. Supported systems: `workday`, `greenhouse`, `lever`, `ashby`, `workable`, `recruitee`, `smartrecruiters`, `personio`, `teamtailor`, `breezy`, `rippling`. Workday entries need host and site, for example `workday:nvidia.wd5/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite` for `nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`.
3. Optionally add **Title keywords** to keep only matching jobs.
4. Click Start and download the dataset.

### Input

```json
{
  "boards": ["ashby:ashby", "lever:palantir", "greenhouse:stripe"],
  "keywords": ["engineer"],
  "maxJobsPerBoard": 50,
  "includeDescription": true
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "ats": "ashby",
  "board": "ashby",
  "jobId": "7458d4e9-da2e-47bd-98cb-adfda43d42b2",
  "title": "Engineering Manager - EU",
  "company": "ashby",
  "location": "Remote - European Union",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "workplaceType": "Remote",
  "isRemote": true,
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ashby/7458d4e9-da2e-47bd-98cb-adfda43d42b2",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ashby/7458d4e9-da2e-47bd-98cb-adfda43d42b2/application",
  "publishedAt": "2024-03-04T14:29:08.532+00:00",
  "updatedAt": null,
  "salary": "€110K - €185K",
  "descriptionText": "..."
}
```

Fields a system does not offer are `null` (Greenhouse has no remote flag or employment type; only Greenhouse and Recruitee give `updatedAt`). You can download the dataset in JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML.

### How much does it cost?

Pay per event: **$1.40 per 1,000 jobs**, plus Apify platform usage, which is small because the Actor only makes one API call per board. A board of 700 jobs costs about $1.

| Actor | Price per 1,000 | Users, last 30 days (2026-10-07) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| This Actor | $1.40 | new |
| bovi/greenhouse-lever-ashby-job-scraper | $1.50 | 117 |
| fantastic-jobs/ashby-jobs-api | $2.00 | 99 |
| viridian_layout_ea2/company-career-site-jobs | free | 24 |

### What it does not do

- It does not discover companies or search all boards at once.
- It covers only the eleven systems above, and only boards the company has made public.
- Workday, SmartRecruiters, Rippling and Breezy list endpoints carry no description, so `descriptionText` is empty for them. Workday returns at most 2,000 jobs per board and an approximate posting date.
- It does not collect candidate or applicant data, and it never logs in.

### FAQ and disclaimer

**A board returns "not found".** Check the slug in the company's job-board URL; some companies keep their board private.

Job descriptions are free text written by the company and can mention people such as a hiring manager. The Actor extracts only what the company has published. Use the data lawfully and in line with GDPR; if unsure, consult a lawyer. Use the Issues tab for bugs or requests.

# Actor input Schema

## `boards` (type: `array`):

One entry per company job board, written ats:slug. ats is greenhouse, lever, ashby, workable, recruitee, smartrecruiters, personio, teamtailor, breezy, rippling or workday. The slug is the company part of its job-board URL: jobs.lever.co/palantir gives lever:palantir, bunq.recruitee.com gives recruitee:bunq, career.teamtailor.com gives teamtailor:career. Workday needs host and site: nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite gives workday:nvidia.wd5/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Only keep jobs whose title contains one of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty for every job.

## `maxJobsPerBoard` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs from each board. 0 means all jobs.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the plain-text job description to every row. Workday, SmartRecruiters, Rippling and Breezy lists carry no description.
