## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Airbnb Scraper

Get Airbnb listings for any city, neighbourhood or search URL, one row per listing: name, room type, price for your dates, rating, review count, bedrooms, coordinates and photos. Built for travel analysts, hosts and short-term rental managers. $0.70 per 1,000 listings.

### Why this one

| | Price per 1,000 results |
|---|---|
| **This Actor** | $0.70 |
| Popular alternatives (top 5 on the Store by users) | $0.20 – $5.00 |

The top five Actors for "airbnb scraper" list between $0.20 and $5 per 1,000 results. We charge per listing only, with no platform usage on top.

### Quick start

Run the Actor with this input. Every other field has a default.

```json
{
  "locationQueries": [
    "Prague"
  ],
  "maxResults": 20
}
```

**Compatible with the input of `tri_angle/airbnb-scraper`**: `locationQueries`, `startUrls`, `maxResults`, `checkIn`, `checkOut`, `currency`, `locale`, `priceMin`, `priceMax`, `minBeds`, `minBedrooms`, `minBathrooms`, `adults`, `children`, `infants`, `pets` keep the same names and types, so you can switch by changing only the Actor ID. Output keeps the leader's main field names too (`id`, `url`, `title`, `coordinates`, `rating`, `price.label`, `roomType`, `personCapacity`, `isSuperHost`, `homeTier`, `subDescription`, `amenities`, `thumbnail`, `androidLink`, `iosLink`).

### Output example

One row, trimmed. The full field list is further down this page.

```json
{
  "id": "651257817975414190",
  "url": "https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/651257817975414190",
  "name": "2BR + 2bath LOFT & ATTIC Terrace city centre V!EWS",
  "roomType": "Loft",
  "latitude": 50.08537,
  "longitude": 14.45028,
  "ratingValue": 4.94,
  "reviewsCount": 365,
  "price": {
    "amount": "$699",
    "qualifier": "for 5 nights"
  }
}
```

### Use it from your code

The Actor id is `praguedatalab/airbnb-scraper`. Replace `YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN` with your Apify API token.

**Python** (`pip install apify-client`)

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("praguedatalab/airbnb-scraper").call(run_input={"locationQueries":["Prague"],"maxResults":20})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item)
```

**JavaScript** (`npm install apify-client`)

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('praguedatalab/airbnb-scraper').call({"locationQueries":["Prague"],"maxResults":20});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(items);
```

**curl** (returns the rows as JSON; the endpoint waits for the run, up to 5 minutes, so keep the limits small)

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/praguedatalab~airbnb-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"locationQueries":["Prague"],"maxResults":20}'
```

### Use it with AI agents

AI assistants can call `praguedatalab/airbnb-scraper` through the Apify MCP server and get the listings for a city as JSON rows, with the price for the dates you ask for.

### FAQ

#### Is it legal to scrape Airbnb?

The Actor reads public listing pages without logging in. It does not collect host names, host photos, host profiles or reviewer data. Airbnb's terms still apply to how you use the data. This is not legal advice; check the rules that apply to you before you run it at volume.

#### How much do 10,000 results cost?

$7.00. The price is $0.70 per 1,000 listings, with or without room details. Set a maximum cost per run to cap the spend.

#### Do I need a proxy?

Not in the default input: the proxy setting is off. If a run is blocked, turn on Apify Proxy in the proxy setting and run it again.

#### How fresh is the data?

Each run reads Airbnb when it runs, so prices and availability are as of that run. Set `checkIn` and `checkOut` to get the price for your dates.

#### Can I export to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets?

Yes. Each run saves a dataset that you can download as JSON, CSV or Excel. For Google Sheets, import the CSV, or connect Apify to Google Sheets with an integration.

#### Can I schedule it daily?

Yes. In the Apify Console, open the Actor, go to Schedules, and add a daily schedule with the same input. Each run is billed per result, as usual.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$0.70 per 1,000 listings** (event `listing`, $0.0007 each), with or without room details. No platform usage charged on top. The run stops by itself when it reaches the maximum cost you set.

### Limits and tips

- Airbnb shows at most about 270 listings per search (15 pages of 18). For more listings in one city, run several searches with price bands (`priceMin`/`priceMax`) or bedroom filters; listings are deduplicated by `id` within a run.
- Without `checkIn`/`checkOut`, Airbnb picks dates per listing; the price is for those dates (see `checkIn`, `checkOut`, `nights`).
- Hotels listed on Airbnb appear with their price but without bedrooms or beds.
- Removed listings (HTTP 410) given as room URLs are skipped and not charged.

### Data and privacy

Only public listing data is collected. Host names, host photos, host profiles and reviewer data are never collected.
