## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## France Jobs Aggregator — HelloWork, Welcome to the Jungle, Meteojob

Search the main French job boards **in one call** and get a clean, deduplicated dataset of job listings: title, company, city, département, contract type, salary, remote policy, publication date and link. Built for recruiters, job-market analysts, lead-generation teams and AI agents that need French job data without maintaining three scrapers.

### What you get

One row per job listing, normalized across sources:

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `title` | Comptable Général (H/F) |
| `company` | Comet Meetings |
| `city`, `department`, `region` | Paris, 75, Île-de-France |
| `contractType` | CDI · CDD · INTERIM · FREELANCE · STAGE · ALTERNANCE · OTHER |
| `remote` | full · partial · none · null |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryPeriod` | 30000, 38000, year |
| `publishedAt` | 2026-10-15 |
| `description` | Full text (optional, see `includeDescription`) |
| `url`, `companyUrl`, `logo` | Links to the original listing and employer page |
| `source`, `sourceId` | hellowork · wttj · meteojob |

Duplicates across boards (same title + company + city) are removed by default.

### Sources

- **HelloWork** (hellowork.com), the largest French job board.
- **Welcome to the Jungle** (welcometothejungle.com), startups and scale-ups, rich salary and remote data.
- **Meteojob** (meteojob.com), generalist board with salary ranges and remote tags.

Only public listing data is collected. No login, no personal data of candidates.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| `keywords` | string | required | Job title, skill or free text, French or English: `comptable`, `développeur Python`, `data analyst` |
| `location` | string | empty = all France | City, département or region: `Paris`, `Lyon`, `Île-de-France`, `Nantes` |
| `sources` | array | all three | `hellowork`, `wttj`, `meteojob` |
| `contractTypes` | array | all | `CDI`, `CDD`, `INTERIM`, `FREELANCE`, `STAGE`, `ALTERNANCE`, `OTHER` |
| `remote` | string | `any` | `remote_any` (partial or full), `full_remote` |
| `maxItems` | integer | 100 | Total listings after deduplication (1 to 5000) |
| `includeDescription` | boolean | false | Opens each HelloWork/Meteojob job page for the full text (slower) |
| `dedupe` | boolean | true | Remove duplicates across sources |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | none | Optional Apify proxy, only if a board starts blocking |

Example:

```json
{
    "keywords": "data analyst",
    "location": "Lyon",
    "contractTypes": ["CDI"],
    "remote": "remote_any",
    "maxItems": 200,
    "includeDescription": true
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
    "title": "Comptable Général (H/F)",
    "company": "Comet Meetings",
    "location": "Paris, Île-de-France",
    "city": "Paris",
    "department": "75",
    "region": "Île-de-France",
    "contractType": "CDI",
    "remote": "full",
    "salaryRaw": "30000 - 38000 EUR / year",
    "salaryMin": 30000,
    "salaryMax": 38000,
    "salaryCurrency": "EUR",
    "salaryPeriod": "year",
    "publishedAt": "2026-10-15",
    "url": "https://www.welcometothejungle.com/fr/companies/comet-meetings/jobs/comptable-unique-h-f_paris",
    "source": "wttj"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: you pay a small fixed price **per job listing saved** (event `job-listing`), nothing else. Set `maxItems` to control the maximum cost of a run. Duplicates and listings filtered out by your criteria are free.

### Typical uses

- Daily feed of new CDI offers in a city for a recruitment agency.
- Salary benchmarks per job title and région.
- Lead generation: companies currently hiring for a given function.
- Input for AI agents (Apify MCP) that answer "who is hiring data analysts in Lyon this week?".

### Schedule it

Use the Apify scheduler to run the Actor every morning and push new rows to Google Sheets, Airtable, Slack or a webhook through Apify integrations.

### Notes and limits

- Welcome to the Jungle descriptions come from its search index (summary, missions, profile); HelloWork and Meteojob descriptions come from the job page when `includeDescription` is on.
- Publication dates on HelloWork and Meteojob are converted from relative wording ("il y a 3 jours") to an ISO date.
- Job boards change their HTML from time to time. The Actor is tested daily; if a source breaks it is repaired within 24 hours.

### Need another French source or a custom extraction?

Open an issue on the Actor page or contact the author: other boards (APEC, France Travail, Cadremploi, Indeed FR) and custom datasets are available on request.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City, department or region in France. Leave empty for the whole country. Examples: <code>Paris</code>, <code>Lyon</code>, <code>Île-de-France</code>, <code>Nantes</code>.

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Job boards to query. All three by default.

## `contractTypes` (type: `array`):

Keep only these contract types. Empty = all types.

## `remote` (type: `string`):

Filter on remote policy when the job board publishes it.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many job listings in total (after deduplication). Each saved listing is one <code>job-listing</code> event.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Open each HelloWork and Meteojob job page to extract the full description (slower). Welcome to the Jungle descriptions come from its search index.

## `dedupe` (type: `boolean`):

The same job published on several boards is kept once (matched on title + company + city).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. The job boards answer without proxies today; enable Apify datacenter proxies only if you start getting blocked.
