## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Kleinanzeigen Scraper: Prices, Deals & Market Report

Scrape **Kleinanzeigen.de** (formerly eBay Kleinanzeigen), Germany's biggest classifieds site, with no login and no API key, and get a **market report for every search**:

- **Every ad**: title, price, VB (Verhandlungsbasis), free or no price, postcode and place, date posted, shipping possible, Direkt kaufen, private or commercial seller, photos, snippet and link
- **Cars**: mileage and first registration on every ad; **flats and houses**: living space (m²) and rooms
- **Search any way**: search terms, German towns or postcodes with a radius, price range, private or commercial sellers, offers or wanted ads, or **paste any Kleinanzeigen search link** (categories and filters included)
- **Past the 1,250-ad limit**: Kleinanzeigen shows 50 pages per search; this Actor splits large searches by price and reads **thousands of ads**
- **Market report per search**: median price and middle half, **below-market offers**, VB and shipping share, private vs commercial, new ads per day, top places and postcode areas; **cars by registration year and mileage**, **flats by rooms and €/m²**

### What does this Kleinanzeigen scraper do?

```
Kleinanzeigen · "iphone 15" in Germany · 21,163 ads
 Median price 499 € (400 – 550 €) · 62% VB · 72% offer shipping
 94% private sellers · 233 new ads today
 14 below-market offers, e.g. "iPhone 15 – 128 GB" 180 € in Ahaus (-61%)
```

1. Enter **search terms** ("iphone 15", "e-bike", "thermomix") and, optionally, **towns or postcodes** with a radius. Or paste **search links** from kleinanzeigen.de.
2. Pick filters: **price range**, **private or commercial**, **offers or wanted ads**.
3. You get **one row per ad** and **one market report per search**.

### Example: 3 October 2026

Six searches across Germany, 250 newest ads each: **1,500 ads and 6 reports in 86 seconds**.

| Search | Ads on Kleinanzeigen | Median price (middle half) | VB | Shipping | Commercial sellers | Below market |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| iphone 15 | 21,163 | 499 € (400 – 550 €) | 62% | 72% | 6% | 14 |
| playstation 5 | 33,220 | 240 € (48 – 500 €) | 43% | 68% | 2% | 65 |
| thermomix | 34,089 | 600 € (299 – 850 €) | 51% | 58% | 1% | 29 |
| e-bike | 100,770 | 1,690 € (890 – 2,699 €) | 45% | 39% | 30% | 45 |
| golf 7 | 37,434 | 6,500 € (2,488 – 11,500 €) | 49% | 36% | 45% | 26 |
| sofa | 201,112 | 300 € (150 – 649 €) | 50% | 38% | 12% | 54 |

- **Flats to rent in Berlin** (a pasted category link, 300 ads): median **1,250 €**, **23.87 €/m²**, 57 m²; 71% of the 7,080 ads are from commercial landlords.
- **Golf 7 in the Autos category** (300 ads): median **9,000 €**, 155,397 km, priced by registration year; 47 offers under 75% of their year's median.
- A single search for **"e-bike" read 3,000 ads in 2 minutes 17 seconds**, past the 1,250-ad cap.

### Pricing

**$0.001 per ad** and **$0.02 per search report**.

- 250 ads with a report: **$0.27**
- The run above (1,500 ads, 6 reports): **$1.62**
- 3,000 ads with a report: **$3.02**

Turn off reports to pay for ads only.

### Good to know

- **Search terms match the whole ad**: "iphone 15" also finds cases and chargers. The report leaves far-too-cheap prices (under 30% of the median) out of its statistics and flags them `priceLooksWrong`. For cars or flats, paste a **category link** (e.g. Autos, Mietwohnungen) for clean results.
- **Below market** = under 75% of the median of comparable offers in the same search (cars: same registration year; flats and houses: same number of rooms; anything else: the whole search), with at least 5 of them.
- **More than 1,250 ads**: the newest 1,250 are read first, then the search is split into price bands. Ads with no price (VB only, swaps) only appear in the first 1,250.
- **Dates**: flats and houses show no posting date on search pages, so those reports have no daily counts.
- **Privacy**: private sellers are not named on search pages and are not collected. Shop names of commercial sellers are. Emails and phone numbers typed into titles or snippets are hidden.
- Data comes from **Kleinanzeigen.de's public search pages**. **Not affiliated with Kleinanzeigen or eBay.**
