## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 notice delivereds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU Tender Monitor (TED)

> **Try it free:** Apify's free plan includes monthly platform credit, no credit card needed. One example run with the input below costs about **$0.03** (up to 10 notices at $0.003 each).

```json
{
  "countries": [
    "AT"
  ],
  "maxResults": 10
}
```

Paste this into the **JSON** tab of the input form and click **Start**.

Find new public tenders in the EU's official procurement journal (TED) that fit your business: filter by country, CPV code, keyword and estimated value, and get only the notices you have not seen yet. Each notice comes with a short summary in English or German, and every run also saves a CSV and an Excel file.

The data comes from the official TED Search API of the EU Publications Office. No login, no API key, no website scraping.

### What you get

For every notice:

- title (original language) and the TED title with the main CPV label
- buyer, city and country, place of performance (NUTS)
- CPV codes, contract type (works, supplies, services), procedure
- deadline for tenders and days left
- estimated value and currency, when the buyer published one
- winner, for contract award notices
- link to the notice on TED and to the PDF
- a summary like this one:

> Contract notice (works) from Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft m.b.H. (Graz, Austria). CPV 45311200 Electrical fitting work. Procedure: open procedure. Deadline: 2026-11-04 (28 days left).

On top of the dataset (JSON, CSV, Excel, HTML via the Apify export), each run writes `tenders.csv` and `tenders.xlsx` to the key-value store. The Excel file has bold headers, filters, a frozen first row and clickable links.

### Typical setups

**Daily alert for your sector.** Countries `AT`, `DE`, CPV `72000000` (IT services), switch on *Only notices not delivered before*, and add an Apify schedule for every weekday morning. Each run returns only the notices that are new since the last run. Connect the run to email, Slack, Google Sheets or Make with Apify integrations if you want the list sent somewhere.

**Keyword search across Europe.** Leave countries empty, keywords `video production`, `Imagefilm`, `social media`, search in the full text, last 30 days.

**Market research on awards.** Notice type *Contract awards*, CPV `90910000` (cleaning), country `AT`, last 90 days. You get winners and award values.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Buyer countries | ISO codes, `AT` or `AUT`. Empty means all countries. |
| CPV codes | Prefix match. `72000000` covers all codes that start with `72`. |
| Keywords | Any of the words or phrases. Title only, or full notice text. |
| Exclude notices containing | Drops notices with these words in the title or description. |
| Notice types | Open calls for tenders (default), contract awards, prior information notices, or all. |
| Published in the last (days) | 1 to 90. |
| Skip calls whose deadline has passed | On by default. |
| Minimum / maximum estimated value (EUR) | Uses the value stated in the notice. Choose whether notices without a value are kept. |
| Only notices not delivered before | Remembers delivered notices per monitor (see below). |
| Monitor name | Optional name for the memory. Same name, same memory. |
| Maximum notices per run | Caps results and cost. |
| Summary language | English, German or none. Also sets the language of titles and links where TED has it. |
| CSV delimiter | Comma, or semicolon for Excel with German regional settings. |

#### How "only new" works

The Actor keeps a list of notices it has delivered in a named key-value store (`eu-tender-monitor-state`) in your own Apify account, one entry per monitor. The monitor is identified by its name, or, if you leave the name empty, by the filter settings. Delivered notices are remembered for 180 days. Notices that were found but not delivered (for example because of the result cap) show up in the next run.

### Pricing

Pay per event:

- **$0.003 per notice delivered**
- Apify's standard Actor start fee ($0.00005 per run)

You pay only for notices that end up in your dataset. A daily monitor that finds 5 new tenders costs about $0.015 per day. A run with nothing new costs only the start fee. Set *Maximum notices per run* or a maximum cost per run to stay in control.

### Data source and reuse

Source: TED (Tenders Electronic Daily), © European Union, https://ted.europa.eu. TED notices may be reused for commercial and non-commercial purposes under the Commission's reuse policy (Decision 2011/833/EU). Please keep this credit if you publish the data. The Actor normalises the data (picks languages, adds the summary and deadline countdown) and does not change the content of the notices.

The Actor follows the TED fair-usage rules (well below 700 requests per minute, pauses between pages, backs off on errors).

Always check the official notice and the tender documents before you bid. Summaries are built automatically from the structured fields and can miss details.

### FAQ

**Why do some notices have no value?** Many buyers do not publish an estimated value. Use *Keep notices without a stated value* to decide what happens with them.

**Can I monitor national portals too?** Not yet. This Actor covers TED, which includes all EU notices above the EU thresholds and many below them.

**Something is wrong or missing?** Open an issue on the Actor page and tell me which notice and which filter.

# Actor input Schema

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Country of the contracting authority. ISO codes like AT, DE, CH or AUT, DEU. Leave empty for all countries.

## `cpvCodes` (type: `array`):

Common Procurement Vocabulary codes. Trailing zeros are ignored, so 72000000 matches every IT service code starting with 72. Leave empty for all sectors.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

A notice matches if it contains at least one of these words or phrases. Example: video, social media, Reinigung.

## `keywordScope` (type: `string`):

Title search is precise. Full text finds more, including notices where the word only appears in the description.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop notices whose title or description contains any of these words (case-insensitive).

## `noticeTypes` (type: `string`):

Open calls are what you can still bid on. Awards show winners and prices.

## `publishedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Look-back window. For a daily schedule with 'only new' switched on, 3 to 7 days is plenty.

## `onlyOpen` (type: `boolean`):

Only applies to calls for tenders and prior information notices.

## `minValueEur` (type: `integer`):

Uses the estimated value stated in the notice. Many notices give no value, see the next option.

## `maxValueEur` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit for the estimated value.

## `includeWithoutValue` (type: `boolean`):

When a value filter is set, notices without an EUR value are kept (on) or dropped (off).

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers what earlier runs of this monitor delivered and returns only new notices. Ideal with an Apify schedule. You are only charged for new notices.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Optional. Runs with the same name share their memory of delivered notices. If empty, the filters themselves identify the monitor.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Caps the number of notices (and the cost) per run.

## `summaryLanguage` (type: `string`):

Short summary built from the notice data (type, buyer, CPV, procedure, value, deadline). No AI service or key involved. Also picks the language of titles and links where TED offers it.

## `csvDelimiter` (type: `string`):

The Excel file is always included as well.
