## Changelog

### 1.1 (2026-08-24)

- **80 fields per post** (was 32). New: `permalink`, `oldRedditUrl`, `subredditId`, `subredditSubscribers`, `subredditType`, `postHint`, `numDuplicates`, `suggestedSort`, `contentCategories`, `thumbnailWidth`/`thumbnailHeight`, `outboundUrlHost`, `scrapedAt`.
- **Media fully unpacked.** `redditVideo` gives the playable MP4 (`fallbackUrl`), DASH and HLS manifests, scrubber clip, duration, bitrate, resolution, audio flag and transcoding status. `galleryImages` lists every gallery slide in author order with full-size URL, dimensions, MIME type and caption; `galleryCount` counts them. `embedMedia` returns the oEmbed player data for YouTube-style links. `previewImages` carries Reddit's own renditions at every thumbnail resolution, and `previewGifUrl` / `previewMp4Url` the animated variants. `mediaType` and `hasMedia` classify each post at a glance.
- **Crosspost lineage.** `isCrosspost`, `numCrossposts`, `crosspostParentId` and `crosspostParent` (parent id, title, author, community, score, comment count, URL).
- **More post state.** `isArchived`, `isEdited` + `editedAt`, `isGallery`, `isRobotIndexable`, `isRedditMediaDomain`, `isDeletedOrRemoved`, `scoreHidden`, plus author details `authorFlairText`, `authorPremium`, `authorCakeday` and flair styling `flairTemplateId`, `flairBackgroundColor`, `flairTextColor`.
- **44 fields per comment** (was 20). New: `permalink`, `subredditId`, `authorFullId`, `authorFlairText`, `authorPremium`, `authorCakeday`, `controversiality`, `scoreHidden`, `isStickied`, `isLocked`, `isArchived`, `isCollapsed`, `collapsedReason`, `isEdited`, `editedAt`, `isDeletedOrRemoved`, `totalAwards`, `replyIds`, `hasMoreReplies`, `scrapedAt`.
- **New option: Expand collapsed reply chains** (`expandMoreComments`). Follows Reddit's "load more comments" links so deeply nested branches are captured too, up to `maxCommentsPerPost`. Off by default — it costs extra requests per post. Without it, `hasMoreReplies` still tells you where the tree was truncated.
- **56 fields per community** (was 20). New: `nameWithPrefix`, `descriptionHtml`, `descriptionLongHtml`, `isQuarantined`, `advertiserCategory`, `contentCategory`, `mobileBannerImage`, `headerTitle`, `keyColor`, `bannerBackgroundColor`, plus the full posting-rules set: `submissionType`, `submitText`, `submitLinkLabel`, `submitTextLabel`, `allowImages`, `allowVideos`, `allowVideoGifs`, `allowPolls`, `allowGalleries`, `allowedMediaInComments`, `restrictPosting`, `restrictCommenting`, `linkFlairEnabled`, `userFlairEnabled`, `spoilersEnabled`, `emojisEnabled`, `wikiEnabled`, `allOriginalContent`, `originalContentTagEnabled`, `shouldArchivePosts`, `commentScoreHideMins`, `suggestedCommentSort`, `showMedia`, `showMediaPreview`.
- **User profiles** gained `accountAgeDays`, `isSuspended`, `hideFromRobots` and `scrapedAt`.
- **Engagement metrics computed for you** (derived from the values Reddit returns, no extra requests): `ageHours`, `scorePerHour`, `commentsPerHour`, `engagementTotal`, `commentToScoreRatio`, `wordCount`, `titleLength`, `bodyLength`.
- New **Media & metrics** dataset view in the Apify console.
- No breaking changes: every field from 1.0 keeps its name, type and meaning.

### 1.0 (2026-07-07)

- Initial release: scrape Reddit posts, comments, communities, users, and search results with no login and no API key.
- Five scrape modes: search, subreddit, post, user, and auto-detected URL.
- Contact enrichment for users: extracts emails, phones, websites, and social links from profile bios and linked websites (`emails`, `phones`, `websites`, `socialLinks`, `websiteContacts`).
- Rich output: 30+ post fields (score, upvotes, media, flair, awards, and more), full comment threads, community details, and user profiles with karma and activity (`recentPosts`, `recentComments`).
- Subreddit mode embeds each post's top comments in the `topComments` field.
- Fast, fully asynchronous scraping with automatic retries.
- Export to JSON, CSV, or Excel.
