## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday & More

Get **every open job** from company career sites on **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Workable, Recruitee, Breezy HR, Rippling, Pinpoint, Personio, BambooHR, Teamtailor, JazzHR, Gem, Homerun, Polymer, JOIN, Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Jobvite** - **complete, exact and up to date** - in **one identical format**, with salary, remote flag, locations, employment type and the full description.

Paste company names or links. The Actor detects which applicant tracking system (ATS) each company uses, reads the same official job feed that powers the company's own careers page, goes through it to the last page and returns tidy rows ready for Excel, Google Sheets, your database or an AI agent.

### Why this Actor

**Price, quality, reliability, responsibility - in balance:**

- 💵 **Fair price** - $1.50 per 1,000 jobs, 19 systems in one Actor; unchanged jobs in only-new mode cost nothing.
- 🔍 **Complete, exact rows** - every open job with its full description and the ATS's own pay fields; nothing guessed.
- 🔁 **Dependable runs** - one schema for every system, a run report per company, a clean stop at your budget.
- 🤝 **Responsible collection** - only the official public job feeds that power the companies' own careers pages; each site's robots.txt is respected and bot checks are never worked around.

**What you get:**

- 🎯 **Complete** - every open job, all pages, on all 19 systems. Big sites included: Workday's 2,000-result search limit is handled by splitting the search with Workday's own filters, and Oracle Recruiting Cloud sites are paged to the end (tested: **JPMorgan Chase, 7,195 jobs**). The run report shows *open jobs* vs *jobs saved* per company, so you can verify that nothing is missing.
- ✅ **Exact** - values exactly as published. Not published = `null`, never invented. Salary comes from the ATS pay fields first (Greenhouse pay transparency, Lever salary range, Ashby compensation tiers, Recruitee salary); only if a company writes it into the text is it read from there, and `salarySource` says which.
- 🔎 **Deep** - full description as clean text and HTML (including requirements, qualifications and benefits sections), all locations and country, department, team, employment type, workplace type, posting date, direct apply link. Where an ATS list is thin (Workday, Oracle Recruiting Cloud), each job's detail page is read.
- 🧠 **Smart input** - a bare name like `stripe`, a board link, any job link, or even the company's own careers page: the board is found for you.
- 🔁 **Change tracking** - *Only new or changed jobs* returns only jobs that are new or whose title, location, salary or text changed since your last run. Unchanged jobs are not saved and cost nothing.
- ⚡ **Live** - read at run time, not from a cached database.
- 🧩 **One schema** - same fields whatever the source, so feeds merge without mapping.

### Use cases

- **Job boards and aggregators** - fill and refresh listings straight from the source, for thousands of companies.
- **Sales and recruiting intelligence** - which companies hire, for which teams, where; new roles are buying signals.
- **Salary benchmarking** - structured pay ranges by role, location and company.
- **Market and competitor research** - daily snapshots show hiring trends over time.
- **AI agents and RAG** - clean descriptions ready for LLMs, via the Apify API or MCP server.
- **Job alerts** - schedule daily runs and push new jobs to Slack, email or a webhook.

### Input

One company per line in **Companies**. Any of these work:

| You type | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| `stripe` | Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Breezy HR, Rippling, Pinpoint, Personio, BambooHR, Teamtailor, JazzHR, Gem, Homerun, Polymer, JOIN and Jobvite are checked; the board that has jobs is used |
| `https://boards.greenhouse.io/gitlab` | Greenhouse board `gitlab` |
| `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir` | Lever board `palantir` (`jobs.eu.lever.co/...` = Lever EU) |
| `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/notion` | Ashby board `notion` |
| `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite` | Workday careers site (copy the address of the company's Workday job search page) |
| `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface/` | Workable account `huggingface` |
| `https://channable.recruitee.com` | Recruitee site `channable` |
| `https://momentum.breezy.hr` | Breezy HR site `momentum` |
| `https://ats.rippling.com/rippling/jobs` | Rippling board `rippling` |
| `https://impulsespace.pinpointhq.com` | Pinpoint site `impulsespace` |
| `https://ottonova.jobs.personio.de` | Personio site `ottonova` (`.jobs.personio.com` too) |
| `https://401auto.bamboohr.com/careers` | BambooHR site `401auto` |
| `https://instabee.teamtailor.com/jobs` or `https://career.instabee.com` | Teamtailor site (also on the company's own career domain) |
| `https://ecapital.applytojob.com/apply` | JazzHR career page |
| `https://jobs.gem.com/retool` | Gem job board |
| `https://jobs.homerun.co` | Homerun career site (`<name>.homerun.co` or the company's own Homerun domain) |
| `https://jobs.polymer.co/eli` | Polymer job board |
| `https://join.com/companies/join` | JOIN company job page |
| `https://jpmc.fa.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1001/jobs` | Oracle Recruiting Cloud careers site (the link must contain `/sites/<site>`; a bare name is not enough) |
| `https://jobs.jobvite.com/ashcompanies/jobs` | Jobvite career site (a bare name also works; `app.jobvite.com/...?c=<id>` links too) |
| `https://www.example.com/careers` | The page is opened and the embedded or linked job board (any of the 19 systems) is found |
| `greenhouse:stripe`, `lever:palantir`, `lever-eu:acme`, `ashby:notion`, `workable:huggingface`, `recruitee:channable`, `breezy:momentum`, `rippling:rippling`, `pinpoint:impulsespace`, `personio:ottonova`, `bamboohr:401auto`, `teamtailor:instabee`, `jazzhr:ecapital`, `gem:retool`, `homerun:acme`, `polymer:eli` | Forces one ATS |

**Not supported: SmartRecruiters and Dover.** Their robots.txt does not allow automated reading of the job data, so links to them are reported as `robots_disallowed` (not read, not charged).

**Only new or changed jobs** (`onlyNewJobs`) - return only jobs that are new or changed since the previous run with the same **Feed name**. The first run returns all open jobs.

**Feed name** (`feedName`) - keeps separate memories for separate feeds (e.g. `engineering-daily`, `sales-weekly`). The memory lives in your own account, in the key-value store `ats-jobs-scraper-state`.

#### Example input

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `ats` | the system: `greenhouse`, `lever`, `ashby`, `workday`, `workable`, `recruitee`, `breezy`, `rippling`, `pinpoint`, `personio`, `bamboohr`, `teamtailor`, `jazzhr`, `gem`, `homerun`, `polymer`, `join`, `oracle` or `jobvite` |

| `workplaceType` | `remote`, `hybrid`, `onsite` or `null` (ATS field first; otherwise only if the title or location says so) |
| `employmentType` | `full_time`, `part_time`, `contract`, `internship`, `temporary` or `null` |
| `salaryInterval` | `year`, `month`, `week`, `day`, `hour` |
| `salarySource` | `ats` (structured pay field), `ats-text` (pay note only), `description` (read from the job text) |
| `postedAt` | First publish date when the ATS gives it (Workday: start date, or the "Posted N days ago" day) |
| `changeType` | Only-new mode: `new` or `updated`; otherwise `null` |
| `input` | The line you typed, so you can map rows back to your list |

Fields an ATS does not publish are `null` - never guessed.

#### Run report (`SUMMARY`)

Every run saves a `SUMMARY` record in the run's key-value store: one entry per input line with `status` (`ok`, `not_found`, `invalid`, `blocked`, `robots_disallowed`, `error`, `duplicate`, `skipped`), the number of open jobs, jobs saved, new / updated counts and a plain-English message. A company that fails never stops the others.

### Pricing

**$1.50 per 1,000 jobs saved** - you pay only for results.

- 20 companies with ~150 open jobs each (3,000 jobs): **$4.50** for the full snapshot.
- A daily only-new feed over 200 companies with ~150 new or changed jobs a day: about **$0.23 a day**.

Set *Maximum cost per run* in the run options: the Actor saves jobs up to that amount and stops cleanly.

### Tips

- **Finding the board name:** open the company's careers page and click a job. The link shows the board: `boards.greenhouse.io/<name>`, `jobs.lever.co/<name>`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/<name>`, `<company>.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/<site>`, `apply.workable.com/<name>`, `<name>.recruitee.com`, `<name>.breezy.hr`. Or just paste the careers page URL.
- **Daily feed:** create a Schedule (Console → Schedules) with *Only new or changed jobs* on, and send results to Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable, Make, Zapier, n8n, a webhook or your database with Apify integrations.
- **Big first runs:** a site with thousands of jobs takes a few minutes the first time. If the run timeout comes close, the Actor stops cleanly, keeps everything saved and says so in `SUMMARY`; in only-new mode the next run continues where it stopped.

### FAQ

**Does it really get all jobs from huge companies?** Yes - every page is read, Workday's 2,000-result limit is split away, and `SUMMARY` lets you check open jobs against jobs saved.

**Why is a field empty?** The company did not publish it on its ATS. Values are never guessed.

**How fresh is the data?** It is read live when the run starts.

**What do `blocked` and `robots_disallowed` mean in the run report?** `blocked`: a site refused automated access. `robots_disallowed`: the site's robots.txt asks tools not to read that job data. Both are marked in `SUMMARY` and never worked around, so no company is silently missing.

**Can I get only one system?** Yes - see the single-system Actors below; same output, same price.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One company per line. Use any of these:<br>• board name, e.g. <code>stripe</code> (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Breezy HR, Rippling, Pinpoint, Personio, BambooHR, Teamtailor, JazzHR, Gem, Homerun, Polymer, JOIN and Jobvite are checked automatically)<br>• board link, e.g. <code>https://jobs.lever.co/palantir</code>, <code>https://jobs.jobvite.com/ashcompanies/jobs</code>, <code>https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/notion</code>, <code>https://boards.greenhouse.io/gitlab</code>, <code>https://apply.workable.com/huggingface</code>, <code>https://channable.recruitee.com</code>, <code>https://momentum.breezy.hr</code>, <code>https://impulsespace.pinpointhq.com</code>, <code>https://ottonova.jobs.personio.de</code>, <code>https://401auto.bamboohr.com/careers</code>, <code>https://instabee.teamtailor.com/jobs</code>, <code>https://ecapital.applytojob.com/apply</code>, <code>https://jobs.gem.com/retool</code>, <code>https://jobs.homerun.co</code>, <code>https://jobs.polymer.co/eli</code>, <code>https://join.com/companies/join</code><br>• Workday careers link, e.g. <code>https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite</code><br>• Oracle Recruiting Cloud careers link, e.g. <code>https://jpmc.fa.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1001/jobs</code><br>• the company's own careers page, e.g. <code>https://www.example.com/careers</code> (the board link is found on the page)<br>• forced ATS: <code>greenhouse:stripe</code>, <code>lever:palantir</code>, <code>lever-eu:company</code>, <code>ashby:notion</code>, <code>workable:huggingface</code>, <code>recruitee:channable</code>, <code>breezy:momentum</code> SmartRecruiters and Dover are not supported: their robots.txt does not allow automated reading of the job data.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Return only jobs that are new or changed since your previous run with the same feed name. Unchanged jobs are skipped and cost nothing. The first run returns all open jobs. Ideal for daily or hourly schedules.

## `feedName` (type: `string`):

Keeps separate memories for separate feeds, e.g. <code>engineering-daily</code> and <code>sales-weekly</code>. Runs with the same feed name share what has already been delivered. Stored in your own account (key-value store <code>ats-jobs-scraper-state</code>).
