## Pricing

from $1.60 / 1,000 screenshot takens

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Screenshot - Bulk, Full Page, Mobile & PDF

Capture hundreds of web pages in one run: **first screen or full page, desktop or mobile, PNG, JPEG or PDF**. Cookie banners and consent walls are hidden and ads are blocked, so you get clean screenshots. You pay **$2 per 1,000 screenshots**, with no compute costs on top.

- **Clean pictures.** Banners from OneTrust, Cookiebot, Didomi, Quantcast, Usercentrics and other consent managers are hidden, plus custom consent walls and their dark overlays. Nothing is accepted or refused: the banners are only removed from the picture. Ads, trackers and videos are blocked.
- **Real full page.** The page is scrolled first so lazy-loaded images appear, then captured from top to bottom (up to 20,000 pixels high).
- **Real devices.** Desktop (1440x900 or 1920x1080), iPad and iPhone 14 emulation with touch, pixel ratio and mobile user agent. Optional dark mode.
- **Predictable price.** One flat price per successful screenshot. Pages that fail to load are not charged, and neither are error pages (HTTP 400 and above) or empty pages left by a bot protection: their screenshot is still saved, for free.

### What can I use it for?

- **Website monitoring and archiving:** schedule daily screenshots of your pages or your competitors' home pages.
- **Visual QA:** check how a list of pages renders on mobile and desktop after a release.
- **Reports and catalogs:** add website previews to a CRM, a directory, a pitch deck or a newsletter.
- **AI agents:** give a vision model a picture of any page through the Apify MCP server (see below).

### Input

```json
{
    "urls": ["https://apify.com", "https://www.iana.org/help/example-domains"],
    "device": "mobile",
    "fullPage": true,
    "format": "png",
    "hideCookieBanners": true,
    "blockAds": true,
    "darkMode": false,
    "waitUntil": "load",
    "delayMs": 500
}
```

Use `waitUntil: "networkidle"` and a longer `delayMs` for single-page apps that load their content late.

### Output

Each screenshot is saved in the run's key-value store. The dataset has one row per URL, with a signed link to the file that opens without logging in:

```json
{
    "url": "https://apify.com/",
    "finalUrl": "https://apify.com/",
    "status": 200,
    "title": "Apify: Marketplace of ready-to-run tools for AI",
    "device": "desktop",
    "format": "png",
    "fullPage": false,
    "bytes": 154713,
    "key": "screenshot-00000.png",
    "loadTimedOut": false,
    "error": null,
    "takenAt": "2026-10-12T11:54:55.969Z",
    "screenshotUrl": "https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/<store-id>/records/screenshot-00000.png?signature=<signature>"
}
```

In Apify Console, the Overview tab shows the screenshots directly in the results table.

### Pricing

**$0.002 per screenshot ($2 per 1,000)**, plus Apify's small run-start fee. Pages that don't load, invalid URLs and unknown domains are free. Full page, mobile and PDF cost the same.

### Speed

In our test, 10 home pages took 24 seconds at the default memory (2 GB), with 3 pages captured in parallel. Give the run more memory to get more CPU on long lists.

### Fair use and safety

Only public websites can be captured: private and internal network addresses are refused, for the page and for each resource it loads. Pages behind a login are not supported. Make sure you have the right to use the screenshots you take.

### Use it from AI agents (MCP)

Add `website-screenshot` to the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com) in your MCP client (Claude, Cursor, VS Code...), so your agent can see any web page.

### Integrations

Apify API, schedules, webhooks, Make, Zapier, n8n. Download all screenshots from the key-value store, or export the result table as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### FAQ

**A banner is still visible on a site.** Some sites use unusual consent tools. Open an issue with the URL and we will add it.

**Why is a screenshot blank or incomplete?** The page may need more time: try `waitUntil: "networkidle"` and `delayMs: 3000`.

**What does `loadTimedOut: true` mean?** Some sites never finish loading (endless trackers or live connections). After 20 extra seconds the screenshot is taken anyway, and this flag tells you the page may still have been loading.

**Something wrong or missing?** Open an issue on the Issues tab.

# Actor input Schema

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Pages to capture, one per line (https:// is added when missing).

## `device` (type: `string`):

Viewport and user agent. Mobile and tablet emulate a real iPhone 14 / iPad (touch, pixel ratio, mobile user agent).

## `fullPage` (type: `boolean`):

Capture the whole page, not just the first screen. The page is scrolled first so lazy-loaded images appear.

## `format` (type: `string`):

PNG for sharp images, JPEG for smaller files, PDF for a printable A4 document.

## `hideCookieBanners` (type: `boolean`):

Hide common consent managers (OneTrust, Cookiebot, Didomi, Quantcast...) and other overlays that mention cookies or consent. Nothing is accepted or refused: the banners are only hidden from the picture.

## `blockAds` (type: `boolean`):

Block common ad, analytics and video requests: pages load faster and screenshots are cleaner.

## `darkMode` (type: `boolean`):

Ask the site for its dark theme (prefers-color-scheme: dark), when it has one.

## `waitUntil` (type: `string`):

When the page counts as loaded. Use networkidle for single-page apps that load content late.

## `delayMs` (type: `integer`):

Wait this long after loading, for animations and late content. Max 20000.
