## Pricing

from $1.84 / 1,000 ranking keywords

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Competitor Keywords (rankings, traffic, competitors)

See every Google keyword a website ranks for, with its position, monthly search volume, estimated traffic and the ranking page. Or find a website's closest organic competitors: the domains that rank for the most of the same keywords. Up to 20 domains per run, 49 countries.

**Price: US$0.05 per domain, plus US$0.002 per keyword for the first 100 in a run, then US$0.0005.** 100 keywords for one domain cost US$0.25. 1,000 cost US$0.70. Competitors cost US$0.002 each.

### What people use it for

- **Competitor research:** see which keywords bring your competitors the most traffic.
- **Content gap analysis:** find keywords competitors rank for and you do not.
- **SEO audits and pitches:** pull a prospect's top keywords and positions in seconds.
- **Finding real competitors:** the competitors mode shows who you actually compete with in Google, not just in your market.

### Example output

Real output (pipedrive.com, US, 29 Oct 2026).

Keywords mode:

| keyword | position | searchVolume | estimatedTraffic | url |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pipedrive | 1 | 49,500 | 8,847 | https://www.pipedrive.com/ |
| sales | 5 | 201,000 | 1,017 | https://www.pipedrive.com/en/blog/what-is-sales |
| commercial email template | 1 | 5,400 | 800 | https://www.pipedrive.com/en/blog/professional-business-email-marketing-templates |

Competitors mode:

| competitor | sharedKeywords | avgPosition | competitorKeywords | competitorEstimatedTraffic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| hubspot.com | 14,458 | 27.4 | 298,693 | 497,381 |
| salesforce.com | 11,660 | 11.2 | 246,339 | 981,011 |

```json
{
  "domain": "pipedrive.com",
  "keyword": "sales",
  "position": 5,
  "searchVolume": 201000,
  "estimatedTraffic": 1017.2,
  "url": "https://www.pipedrive.com/en/blog/what-is-sales",
  "cpcUsd": 0.9,
  "keywordDifficulty": 33,
  "searchIntent": "informational",
  "serpFeature": "organic",
  "country": "US"
}
```

`estimatedTraffic` is the estimated monthly visits from that keyword, from its position and search volume. Use it to compare keywords and domains: totals are usually lower than a site's real search traffic, because only keywords in the ranking database are counted. Big platforms that rank for everything (YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, Wikipedia and similar) are left out of the competitors list.

### Input

| Field | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `domains` | Websites to analyse, up to 20. | 1 sample |
| `mode` | `keywords` or `competitors`. | `keywords` |
| `maxResultsPerDomain` | Keywords or competitors per domain, up to 1,000. Keywords come highest traffic first. | `100` |
| `maxPosition` | Keywords mode: only positions at this rank or better (10 = page one). | `100` |
| `minSearchVolume` | Keywords mode: skip keywords with fewer monthly searches. | `0` |
| `country` | Two-letter country code (49 countries). | `US` |
| `language` | Two-letter language code. | `en` |

### Pricing

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Domain request (each domain that returns data) | US$0.05 |
| Ranking keyword, first 100 in a run | US$0.002 |
| Ranking keyword, after the first 100 | US$0.0005 |
| Competitor domain | US$0.002 |

Examples: 100 keywords for one domain cost US$0.25. 1,000 keywords cost US$0.70. 20 competitors cost US$0.09. A domain with no ranking data is not charged.

### Limits

- Rankings come from a regularly refreshed Google database, not a live search at run time. Positions can lag by a few weeks.
- Small or new sites may have little or no data.
- Free Apify plan: one domain and 10 results per run. A run with the prefilled example input returns a stored, dated sample (marked `cachedExample: true`) at no charge.

### FAQ

**How is this different from Google SERP Results?** That tool shows who ranks for a keyword. This one shows which keywords a domain ranks for.

**Can an AI agent call it?** Yes. Pass domains, get compact JSON back, and pay per result.

### More tools from the same developer

Same style: clean JSON output, pay only for results, no charge on failed items.
