## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 tenders

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

This Actor reads **COMPR.AR**, Argentina's national electronic procurement system, through the open data the government publishes on datos.gob.ar: every **call for tender** since 2016 and every **award** with its supplier, CUIT, contract document and amount.

### What it does

- **Calls** (Convocatorias): 128,951 when this was verified — process number, agency and buying unit, procedure type and modality, fiscal year, publication and opening dates, stage, scope, name, purpose and estimated amount.
- **Awards** (Adjudicaciones): 205,299 — process number, agency, executing unit, award date, categories, supplier name and CUIT, contract document, amount and currency, purchase-order date.
- Filters by keyword, agency, procedure type, supplier, fiscal year and date range; returns newest first.
- Always reads the government's current file, found through the datos.gob.ar catalogue on each run.

### Use cases

| You need to | How this Actor does it |
| --- | --- |
| See who wins Argentine government contracts | Awards mode, group by supplier or CUIT |
| Track a ministry's spending | Awards with an agency filter, sum `amount` |
| Find recent calls in your sector | Calls mode with a keyword and a recent `dateFrom` |
| Research a supplier | Awards with its CUIT |

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it controls |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `mode` | string | `calls` | `calls` or `awards` |
| `keyword` | string | empty | Calls: name and purpose. Awards: categories and supplier |
| `agency` | string | empty | Agency (SAF) or buying unit name or number |
| `procedureType` | string | empty | e.g. `Licitacion Pública` |
| `supplier` | string | empty | Supplier name or CUIT (awards) |
| `year` | integer | empty | Fiscal year |
| `dateFrom` / `dateTo` | date | empty | Publication (calls) or award (awards) date |
| `maxItems` | integer | `500` | Caps how many rows are returned, and so the cost |

```json
{
    "mode": "awards",
    "agency": "Ejercito",
    "dateFrom": "2026-01-01"
}
```

### Output (awards)

```json
{
    "processNumber": "84/29-0652-LPR26",
    "agency": "374 - Estado Mayor General del Ejercito",
    "buyingUnit": "84/29 - Liceo Militar General Espejo",
    "procedureType": "Licitacion Privada",
    "awardDate": "2026-07-09T18:08:51",
    "categories": ["MANT. REPARACION Y LIMPIEZA"],
    "supplierCuit": "30-71879757-4",
    "supplierName": "INMECVIAL S.R.L.",
    "contractDocument": "84/29-2101-OC26",
    "amount": 33771626.4,
    "currency": "Peso Argentino"
}
```

### Coverage and limits

- The government publishes these files periodically (last update 3 August 2026 when verified: calls to 23 July, awards to 9 July 2026), so the newest procedures appear with that lag.
- The source has no query interface, so each run reads the whole file before filtering.

### Pricing

Pay per event: one `tender-scraper` event per row written to the dataset. The optional schema.org block is charged once per run.

# Actor input Schema

Calls: matched in the process name and purpose. Awards: matched in the categories (rubros) and supplier name. Example: 'pescado'.

## `agency` (type: `string`):

Matched in the agency (SAF) and buying unit (UOC) names or numbers, e.g. 'Ejercito' or '374'.

## `procedureType` (type: `string`):

Matched in the procedure type, e.g. 'Licitacion Pública', 'Contratación Directa'.

## `supplier` (type: `string`):

Matched in the supplier name or CUIT.

## `year` (type: `integer`):

## `dateTo` (type: `string`):

Calls: published on or before. Awards: awarded on or before (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Caps how many rows are written to the dataset, and so caps the cost. Set to 0 for everything matched.

## `schemaOrg` (type: `boolean`):

Appends a `schemaOrg` object to every record, mapping it to schema.org (Demand). Charged once per run, not per record.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "mode": "calls",
  "maxItems": 500,
  "schemaOrg": false
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Projects matched by the run, one item per record, in the default dataset.
