## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 tenders

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

This Actor reads Latvia's state e-procurement system (**EIS**) through the open data published on data.gov.lv, updated daily: **announced procurements** (buyer, CPV code, procedure, planned price, submission deadline) and **results** (winner, contract amount, contract dates).

### What it does

- **Announced**: 26,352 rows in 2026 when this was verified — procurement number and title, buyer, status, procedure and law, subject type, main CPV code, announcement date, submission deadline, planned price, place of performance, lot.
- **Results**: 33,102 rows in 2026 — winner name, registration number and country, current and initial contract amount, contract signed, published, start and end dates, termination.
- **Filters at the source**: keyword, buyer, winner and status, for any year from 2016; newest procurement first.
- Every source column is kept in `source` with its original Latvian name.

### Use cases

| You need to | How this Actor does it |
| --- | --- |
| Find open Latvian tenders | Announced, status `Izsludināts`, read the deadline |
| See who wins Latvian contracts | Results, group by winner |
| Track a municipality's buying | Buyer filter on announced or results |
| Build procurement history | Results for several years |

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it controls |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `mode` | string | `announced` | `announced` or `results` |
| `years` | array | current year | Years to read |
| `keyword` | string | empty | Full-text search |
| `buyer` | string | empty | Buyer name |
| `winner` | string | empty | Winner name (results) |
| `status` | string | empty | Exact EIS status |
| `maxItems` | integer | `500` | Caps how many rows are returned, and so the cost |

```json
{
    "mode": "results",
    "buyer": "Rīgas",
    "years": [2026, 2025]
}
```

### Output (results)

```json
{
    "procurementNumber": "PSKUS 2025/196",
    "title": "… medicīnas iekārtu servisa pakalpojumu nodrošināšana",
    "buyerName": "Paula Stradiņa klīniskā universitātes slimnīca",
    "status": "Līgums noslēgts",
    "procedureType": "Sarunu procedūra",
    "winnerName": "SIA ''Amerikas Baltijas Tehnoloģiju Korporācija''",
    "winnerCountry": "LVA",
    "contractAmount": 330000,
    "currency": "EUR",
    "contractSignedDate": "2026-09-30",
    "eisUrl": "https://www.eis.gov.lv/EKEIS/Supplier/Procurement/183184"
}
```

### Coverage and limits

- The source publishes one row per lot and contract document, so one procurement can appear on several rows; `rowId` tells them apart.
- Field names and values are in Latvian, as published.
- A winner published with a natural person's personal code keeps the name; the code is removed.

### Pricing

Pay per event: one `tender-scraper` event per row written to the dataset. The optional schema.org block is charged once per run.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Announced procurements (26,352 rows in 2026 when verified) or results with winners and contract amounts (33,102).

## `years` (type: `array`):

Years to read, newest first. Default: the current year. The source publishes one file per year from 2016.

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

Full-text search run by data.gov.lv. Example: 'malka' (215 announced in 2026). With buyer or winner set, it is matched in the procurement title.

## `buyer` (type: `string`):

Matched in the buyer name by data.gov.lv, e.g. 'Rīgas' (4,563 announced in 2026).

## `winner` (type: `string`):

Matched in the winner name by data.gov.lv.

## `status` (type: `string`):

Exact status as EIS writes it, e.g. 'Izsludināts' (announced, 2,915 in 2026), 'Līgums noslēgts' (contract signed).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Caps how many rows are written to the dataset, and so caps the cost. Set to 0 for everything matched.

## `schemaOrg` (type: `boolean`):

Appends a `schemaOrg` object to every record, mapping it to schema.org (Demand). Charged once per run, not per record.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "mode": "announced",
  "maxItems": 500,
  "schemaOrg": false
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Projects matched by the run, one item per record, in the default dataset.
