## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 tenders

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

This Actor reads **Guatecompras**, Guatemala's public procurement system, through its Open Contracting (OCDS) API and returns one record per release: the process (NOG, title, status, method, dates), the buyer, tenderers, bids, awards and suppliers, with the full OCDS release attached.

### What it does

- Returns **one record per OCDS release**, month by month: 1,443 public-tender (Licitación Pública) releases in August–September 2026 when this was verified.
- **Filters at the source**: publication month range, day, process status (Vigente, Evaluación, Adjudicado …) and procurement method (Licitación Pública, Cotización, Compra Directa …).
- Flattens the useful fields — buyer, number of tenderers, awarded suppliers and value — and keeps the **full release** for everything else (items, bids, documents, parties).
- Gets past Guatecompras' Cloudflare protection on every run; nothing to configure.

### Use cases

| You need to | How this Actor does it |
| --- | --- |
| Find Guatemalan public tenders | Current month, method `4` (Licitación Pública), status `1` (Vigente) |
| See who wins government contracts | Status `3` (Adjudicado), read `awardedSuppliers` and `awardedValue` |
| Track a municipality or ministry | Pull a month and group by `buyerName` |
| Build procurement history | Walk a range of months into one dataset |

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it controls |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `fromMonth` / `toMonth` | YYYY-MM | current month | Publication months to read, newest first |
| `day` | integer | empty | One publication day within each month |
| `status` | code | empty | Estado del concurso, e.g. `1` Vigente, `3` Adjudicado |
| `method` | code | empty | Modalidad de compra, e.g. `3` Cotización, `4` Licitación Pública |
| `order` | string | `Desc` | Newest or oldest first |
| `maxItems` | integer | `500` | Caps how many releases are returned, and so the cost |

```json
{
    "fromMonth": "2026-09",
    "toMonth": "2026-09",
    "status": "3",
    "maxItems": 200
}
```

### Output

```json
{
    "nog": "32201109",
    "ocid": "ocds-xqjsxa-32201109",
    "title": "COMPRA DE INSUMOS PARA EL PROYECTO: APOYO A LA SALUD …",
    "tenderStatus": "active",
    "statusDetails": "Evaluación",
    "datePublished": "2026-09-30T23:41:18-06:00",
    "procurementMethodDetails": "Compra Directa con Oferta Electrónica (Art. 43 LCE Inciso b)",
    "mainProcurementCategory": "goods",
    "buyerName": "MUNICIPALIDAD DE SANTA CLARA LA LAGUNA, SOLOLÁ",
    "numberOfTenderers": 1,
    "awardedSuppliers": null,
    "noticeUrl": "https://www.guatecompras.gt/concursos/consultaConcurso.aspx?nog=32201109"
}
```

`release` carries the complete OCDS release.

### Coverage and limits

- The API is searched by publication month; a release's own `releaseDate` can be later (its latest update).
- Award committee members are individuals published with a tax id and address; this Actor keeps their name and role and drops the rest.
- `noticeUrl` opens the process on guatecompras.gt, which shows a captcha to automated visitors.

### Pricing

Pay per event: one `tender-scraper` event per release written to the dataset. The optional schema.org block is charged once per run.

# Actor input Schema

## `fromMonth` (type: `string`):

First publication month to read (YYYY-MM). Default: the current month. Guatecompras' API is searched month by month.

## `toMonth` (type: `string`):

Last publication month to read (YYYY-MM). Default: the current month. Months are read newest first.

## `day` (type: `integer`):

Narrows each month to one publication day.

## `status` (type: `string`):

Estado del concurso, filtered by Guatecompras. 'Adjudicado' returns awarded processes.

## `method` (type: `string`):

Modalidad de compra, filtered by Guatecompras. Licitación Pública had 660 processes in September 2026 when verified.

## `order` (type: `string`):

Publication date order within each month.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Caps how many releases are written to the dataset, and so caps the cost. Set to 0 for everything matched.

## `schemaOrg` (type: `boolean`):

Appends a `schemaOrg` object to every record, mapping it to schema.org (Demand). Charged once per run, not per record.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "order": "Desc",
  "maxItems": 500,
  "schemaOrg": false
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Projects matched by the run, one item per record, in the default dataset.
