## Pricing

from $2.80 / 1,000 tender returned with details

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## CPPP Tenders Scraper – India Govt eProcurement

Every live tender on India's Central Public Procurement Portal (eprocure.gov.in) as clean rows: id, title, organisation chain, category, value, EMD, fee, validity, location, pincode and all critical dates. Filter by organisation, keyword, category or closing window; daily incremental runs.

### Who this is for

Suppliers, contractors, bid consultants and procurement analysts who track central government tenders across 250+ ministries, PSUs and institutions: pull today's new tenders into a sheet or CRM, watch a product category or a closing window, or let an AI agent read them as rows instead of pages.

Dates are ISO 8601 in UTC, converted from the portal's Indian Standard Time; amounts are plain numbers in rupees (`tender_value_inr` is null when the department publishes NA).

`detail_url` is the portal's own tender-view link. NIC binds it to a browsing session, so it opens only after visiting the portal; `source_url` is the public organisation index every row comes from, and `tender_id` is what you quote to the department.

Coverage is every tender currently live on the central portal, newest first within each organisation. State e-procurement portals and GeM bids are separate sources (see the GeM Tenders Scraper for GeM).

What is left out on purpose: tender documents, bid texts and the inviting officer's name. The actor never touches the portal's captcha-protected search, closing-date, corrigendum or bid-award pages.

### Pricing

Pay per tender: $0.004 each with details ($4.00 per 1,000), or $0.0015 each ($1.50 per 1,000) with `includeDetails` off. The first 20 rows of every run are free, so a test costs nothing.

### How to run

1. Keep the defaults for the standard sample, or set the inputs (listed last, below).
2. Run. Results land in the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel.
3. From code or an agent: call it through the API, or as an MCP tool via mcp.apify.com.

### Source and fair use

Data comes from Central Public Procurement Portal, Government of India (eprocure.gov.in). The actor fetches public pages only, honours robots.txt, keeps a low request rate with an identified user agent, and returns structured facts, never copied text, images or reviews. No personal data of individuals is included.

### FAQ

**How fresh is the data?** Each run fetches live from the source.
**Can I get more fields?** Open an issue naming the field and where it appears at the source.
**Something broke?** Open an issue. Issues are answered within 12 hours.
**Found it useful?** A short review on this page helps other people find it, and tells us what to improve.

### Inputs

- `organisation`: Only organisations whose name contains this text (comma-separated for several, e.g. "Road Transport, AIIMS"). Empty = all 250+ central organisations.
- `keyword`: Only tenders whose title contains one of these words (comma-separated, case-insensitive). Empty = all.
- `category`: Goods, Services or Works. Needs "Include details" on. Empty = all.
- `productCategory`: Only tenders whose product category contains this text, e.g. "Civil Works", "Consumables". Needs "Include details" on. Empty = all.
- `closingWithinDays`: Only tenders whose bid submission closes within this many days from now. 0 = no limit.
- `publishedSince`: Skip tenders published before this date (YYYY-MM-DD). Lists are newest first, so a daily run with yesterday's date fetches only what is new.
- `includeDetails`: Open each tender's view page for category, value, EMD, fee, validity, location, pincode and all critical dates (one extra request per tender). Off = list columns only, faster and cheaper.
- `maxItems`: Stop after this many rows.
