## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Snapchat Ads Library Scraper

This actor exports ads from the Snapchat Ads Gallery (adsgallery.snap.com), the public ad library Snapchat runs for the EU Digital Services Act. Give it one or more advertiser names and it returns every matching ad that ran in the EU or Turkey during your date range, with the creative, the landing page, impressions per country and the age targeting.

### What you get per ad

- Paying advertiser, Snapchat profile name and ad account name
- Headline, call to action and landing page URL
- Ad status (active or paused), review status and rejection reasons
- Creative type and a download link for the image or video, plus the images of story ads and the main image of each product in catalog ads
- Start date, total impressions and impressions per country
- Targeted age range, languages and other published targeting

### Input

| Field | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Advertiser names | Required. Snapchat matches part of the paying advertiser's name, case-insensitive, so `nike` finds `Nike, Inc.` |
| Countries | EU country codes or names, plus Turkey. Empty means all 28. |
| Active from / Active until | Date range in `YYYY-MM-DD`. Other formats such as `01.08.2026` are read too. Defaults to the last 12 months. |
| Max ads per advertiser | Default 100. 0 means no limit. |

```json
{
  "advertiserNames": ["Nike"],
  "countries": ["DE", "FR"],
  "maxResults": 100
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "adId": "7cb29c17-2dd3-4359-a6a2-09159b1094ab",
  "advertiserName": "Nike, Inc.",
  "profileName": "Nike",
  "headline": "Air. Neu interpretiert.",
  "callToAction": "SHOP NOW",
  "landingUrl": "https://www.nike.com/de/w/damen-air-max-muse-schuhe-5e1x6z84igrzy7ok",
  "status": "PAUSED",
  "mediaType": "IMAGE",
  "mediaUrl": "https://cf-st.sc-cdn.net/d/W5NroUgSWtMvM6NDZ236U.380",
  "startDate": "2025-10-03T10:00:00.000Z",
  "impressionsTotal": 819188,
  "impressionsByCountry": { "DE": 819188 },
  "targetedMinAge": 18,
  "targetedMaxAge": 44
}
```

### Limits

- Snapchat only publishes ads shown in the EU and Turkey. Ads that ran only in the US, UK or elsewhere are not in the gallery.
- The search is by paying advertiser name. Keyword search over ad text is not offered by Snapchat.
- Impression counts are the totals Snapchat publishes, not reach or spend.

### Price

You pay per ad in the dataset, plus a small start fee per run. Runs need about 60 MB of memory and finish quickly, so platform usage is minimal.

# Actor input Schema

## `advertiserNames` (type: `array`):

One name per line. Snapchat matches the paying advertiser's name as a case-insensitive part of the name, so `nike` also finds `Nike, Inc.`.

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Where the ads were shown. The gallery covers the 27 EU countries and Turkey. Use ISO codes such as `DE`, `FR`, `TR` or country names such as `Germany`. Leave empty to search all of them.

## `startDate` (type: `string`):

Only ads that were running on or after this date, `YYYY-MM-DD`. Defaults to one year before the end date.

## `endDate` (type: `string`):

Only ads that were running on or before this date, `YYYY-MM-DD`. Defaults to today.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many ads for each advertiser name. 0 means no limit.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

The Snapchat API answers Apify datacenter proxies, which is the default.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "advertiserNames": [
    "Nike"
  ],
  "countries": [
    "DE",
    "FR"
  ],
  "maxResults": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Snapchat ads stored in the default dataset.
