## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Career Site Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby

Get **every open job** from any company's own career page, straight from the source. You get the title, location, remote flag, department, employment type, apply link, posting date, **salary range** and full description, all in one clean schema across the three platforms.

### Why use it

- **Fresh and complete.** Jobs come directly from the employer's applicant tracking system, so you get no stale reposts and no aggregator lag.
- **Salary included.** It uses structured compensation from Ashby and Lever, and pay-transparency ranges parsed from descriptions (e.g. "$150,000 – $200,000").
- **Fast and reliable.** It uses official public job-board endpoints only: no browser, no proxies, no logins. A typical company finishes in under a second.
- **One schema** for Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `companies` | Career page URLs (`https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe`, `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify`, `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`) or plain slugs (`stripe`). A slug is tried on every platform. |
| `keywords` | Keep jobs whose title or description contains all of these words |
| `titleKeywords` | Keep jobs whose title contains any of these comma-separated phrases |
| `location` | Keep jobs whose location contains this text |
| `remoteOnly` | Keep remote jobs only |
| `postedWithinDays` | Keep jobs posted within the last N days |
| `includeDescription` | Include the HTML and plain-text description (default on) |
| `maxJobs` | Stop after N jobs |

### Output (one item per job)

```json
{
  "id": "ashby:ramp:34413f8d-…",
  "source": "ashby",
  "company": "ramp",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "remote": true,
  "department": "Engineering",
  "employment_type": "FullTime",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/…",
  "apply_url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/…/application",
  "posted_at": "2026-04-07T17:12:35+00:00",
  "salary_min": 211400,
  "salary_max": 290600,
  "salary_currency": "USD",
  "salary_interval": "1 YEAR",
  "description_text": "…",
  "description_html": "…"
}
```

### Use cases

Job boards and aggregators, recruiting and sourcing, hiring-signal and sales-intelligence tools, salary benchmarking, and competitor hiring tracking.

### Notes

Only publicly listed jobs are collected. A company that does not use Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby returns no results, and the run log says so.
