## Pricing

from $3.50 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## MQL5 Market Intelligence

MQL5 Market Intelligence extracts structured product data from public MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 Market listing pages. It is designed for market research, product discovery, pricing analysis, competitive intelligence, and catalog monitoring.

### What it collects

For each product found, the Actor can return:

- Product ID
- Product name
- Product URL
- Author
- Category
- Price in USD when available
- Rating when available
- Review count when available
- Description when available
- Position in the listing
- Platform: MT4 or MT5
- Pricing type: paid or free
- Source
- Scrape timestamp

Results are stored in the Actor's default dataset as structured JSON records.

### Input

#### `platform`

Choose the MetaTrader platform to analyze.

- `mt5`
- `mt4`

Default: `mt5`

#### `category`

Choose the product category.

- `indicator`
- `expert`
- `utility`
- `library`

Default: `indicator`

#### `pricing`

Choose the pricing segment.

- `paid`
- `free`

Default: `paid`

#### `max_pages`

Maximum number of public listing pages to process.

- Minimum: `1`
- Maximum: `50`
- Default: `2`

### Example input

```json
{
  "platform": "mt5",
  "category": "indicator",
  "pricing": "paid",
  "max_pages": 2
}
```

### Example output

```json
{
  "product_id": 123456,
  "product_name": "Example Indicator",
  "product_url": "https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/123456",
  "author": "Example Author",
  "category": "Indicators",
  "price_usd": 49.0,
  "rating": 4.8,
  "review_count": 15,
  "description": "Product description when available.",
  "position": 1,
  "platform": "MT5",
  "pricing": "paid",
  "source": "MQL5 Market",
  "scraped_at": "2026-09-04T00:00:00+00:00"
}
```

### Use cases

- Compare paid and free product segments
- Research indicator and Expert Advisor markets
- Track product positioning and pricing
- Discover competitors and market niches
- Build internal market-intelligence datasets
- Feed dashboards, spreadsheets, BI tools, or automated research workflows

### Reliability

The Actor avoids dependence on a single fragile CSS class and extracts products from public listing structures. Every production build is followed by an automated test run and dataset validation before release.

Website layouts can change over time. If the upstream public page changes materially, extraction quality may temporarily degrade until the Actor is updated.

### Responsible use

This Actor accesses publicly available MQL5 Market pages. It does not bypass authentication, paywalls, or access controls. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of collected data complies with applicable laws and the terms of the websites they access.

### Support

When reporting an issue, include the input used, the affected platform/category, and the approximate run time. Do not include API tokens or other credentials.
