## Pricing

from $0.63 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Freelance Opportunity Intelligence

**Find the best opportunities in the job data you already have.** Turn an authorized collection of freelance project records into a clean, prioritized dataset with skill matching, budget filtering, and actionable missing-data flags.

This is a **data analysis and qualification tool**, not a web scraper. It never visits Upwork, scrapes marketplaces, collects new listings, or claims to verify customer information.

### Business value

- **Prioritize leads**: Rank opportunities with a deterministic 0–100 score and a separate skill-match percentage.
- **Work with the data you have**: Paste a JSON array or connect an existing Apify Dataset you are permitted to use.
- **Reduce busywork**: Deduplicate jobs, filter by available budgets, and identify missing descriptions, URLs or skills.
- **Use the output immediately**: Send normalized records to spreadsheets, BI tools, internal dashboards or workflows through the Apify Dataset API.

#### Who it helps

Freelancers prioritizing project leads, agencies triaging inbound opportunities, and teams organizing customer-authorized freelance job data.

### First run: sample data (fictional)

```json
{
  "confirmAuthorizedData": true,
  "jobs": [
    {
      "title": "React dashboard development (example)",
      "description": "Build a React and TypeScript dashboard",
      "url": "https://example.org/opportunity/1",
      "skills": ["React", "TypeScript"],
      "budget": 1500,
      "paymentVerified": true
    },
    {
      "title": "Python reporting project (example)",
      "description": "Create a small reporting script",
      "url": "https://example.org/opportunity/2",
      "skills": ["Python"],
      "budget": 800
    }
  ],
  "targetSkills": ["React", "TypeScript"],
  "minBudget": 0,
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

The fictional sample does not represent real live job availability. Replace it with records you are authorized to analyze.

### Accepted input

Use any one of `jobs` (array of job objects), `jobsJson` (string containing a JSON array), or `sourceDatasetId` (authorized Apify Dataset). Confirm the right to process the records. Optional `targetSkills`, `minBudget`, and `maxItems` control the shortlist. Up to 250 qualifying records can be emitted per run.

Supported source fields include title/jobTitle/name, description/summary, skills, url/jobUrl, fixedBudget/hourlyMax/budget, and paymentVerified. The tool never claims to independently verify these fields.

### Output and transparent scoring

Results contain `jobId`, `title`, `url`, `description`, `skills`, `budgetValue`, `matchedSkills`, `matchScore`, `opportunityScore`, `missingFields` and `processedAt`.

The opportunity score weights **record completeness (30 points)**, **match against requested skills (40)**, **presence of budget data (20)** and **explicitly supplied payment verification (10)**. When no target skills are supplied, a neutral 20/40 points is used. This is a transparent prioritization heuristic, **not a prediction of hiring success**.

A minimum budget excludes records with unknown budgets as well as amounts below the threshold. Budget values are interpreted as provided; currencies are not converted.

### Pricing and responsible use

Pay Per Event charges follow the current Apify Store pricing per emitted result item. Input validation errors do not create result items, but platform compute costs can still arise. Upload only records that you may legally process. Avoid sensitive personal data.

The previous URL/slug contains an Upwork reference because this is a maintained version of an existing Actor. The **current product no longer accesses Upwork** and is not endorsed by Upwork or any jobs marketplace.

### Limitations

This tool does not discover new jobs or refresh external listings, and does not access third-party APIs, scrape websites, or verify source claims. Imported data quality and rights remain the customer's responsibility. Use scores as decision support and review actual opportunities before taking action.
