## Pricing

from $4.00 / 1,000 product with full details

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AliExpress Reviews Scraper: Ratings, Text, Photos

Get the reviews of AliExpress products in bulk, without an account or API key. Paste product links or IDs; each
review comes back as one record: star rating, the buyer's text and AliExpress's translation of it into your language,
date, the variant bought, photos, helpful votes, shipping method and the buyer's country. **Reviewer names and avatars
are never collected.** Export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

Each product also comes back once with its overall rating, review count, units sold and price, so you can put the
reviews in context.

**$0.50 per 1,000 reviews, $5 per 1,000 products**, plus a small start fee per run. Products that do not exist or are
not sold to your country, and inputs that fail, are not charged.

### Quick start

1. Paste one or more AliExpress product links (or IDs) into **Products**.
2. Set **Max reviews per product** (100 by default).
3. Click **Start** and read the reviews in the run's **Output** tab.

Like any Apify Actor, it can also be run and read through the Apify API, scheduled, and connected to webhooks, Make,
Zapier, n8n or Apify's MCP server for AI agents.

### What it is used for

- **Product research and sourcing**: read what buyers say about quality, sizing and shipping before you list or buy.
- **Competitor and supplier monitoring**: track ratings and complaints across many listings.
- **Sentiment analysis and AI datasets**: review text with its rating, date and country, in the original language and
  translated.

### What we measured

On the Apify platform on 18 October 2026, one popular phone case with its default settings: 150 reviews and the
product record in 21 seconds, from buyers in 20 countries; 17 reviews had photos, 69 had stars only.

### Inputs

- **Products**: `https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006833755847.html`, any country site (`fr.aliexpress.com`,
  `aliexpress.us`…), or just `1005006833755847`. Up to 5,000 products per run. Share links (`a.aliexpress.com/_…`) are
  not read: open the link and paste the address of the product page it opens.
- **Max reviews per product**: up to 5,000, most relevant first.
- **Ship to (country)**: the product must be sold to this country (US by default).
- **Language**: the language AliExpress translates the reviews into (`translatedText`) and the product title comes in.

Example, through the API:

```json
{
  "productUrls": ["https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006833755847.html", "1005007017638413"],
  "maxReviewsPerProduct": 300,
  "language": "en"
}
```

### Output

One record per review, and one per product. A review:

```json
{
  "type": "review",
  "status": "ok",
  "productId": "1005006833755847",
  "url": "https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006833755847.html",
  "reviewId": "60094770554510535",
  "rating": 5,
  "text": "Package came in under 2 weeks, and the case looks exactly like the photo. It feels nice and smooth and the camera isn't affected. …",
  "translatedText": "Package came in under 2 weeks, and the case looks exactly like the photo. It feels nice and smooth and the camera isn't affected. …",
  "date": "2026-01-19",
  "country": "US",
  "variant": "Color:Blue Material:For iPhone 15",
  "images": ["https://ae-pic-a1.aliexpress-media.com/kf/Ace5581c00df04386a310747a68605b627.jpg"],
  "helpfulCount": 0,
  "shippingMethod": "Aliexpress Selection Standard",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-18T17:51:39.085Z"
}
```

The product record (`type: "product"`) holds the title, price, `rating`, `reviewCount`, `soldCount`, images, variants,
store and shipping to your country. Filter on `type` to keep only the reviews.

- `rating`: 1 to 5 stars.
- `text` and `translatedText`: what the buyer wrote, and AliExpress's own translation into the run's language (the
  same text when the review is already in it). Many buyers leave only stars: those reviews come with `text` empty
  (69 of 150 on the product we measured) and are delivered and charged like the others.
- `status`: `ok` (delivered, charged), `unavailable` (free; the product does not exist, is not sold to your country, or
  is no longer on sale), `error` (free; `error` says why, `retryable` says if a later run may work).

The run summary (products, reviews and errors per input, why the run stopped) is the `OUTPUT` record of the run's
key-value store.

### Pricing

Pay per event:

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Review | $0.50 per 1,000 |
| Product (one per product, with its rating and review count) | $5.00 per 1,000 |
| Run start | $0.005 per GB of memory (1 GB minimum; $0.005 at the default 512 MB) |

100 reviews of one product cost $0.055 plus the start fee. Higher Apify plans pay less per event. Never charged:
products that do not exist or are not sold to your country, error records, duplicates. Set **Maximum cost per run** in
the run options and the run stops before going over it.

### Limits

- Reviews come in AliExpress's "most relevant" order; there is no filter by star rating or date in this version.
- A product AliExpress does not serve at that moment gets a free `error` record with `retryable: true`.
- When AliExpress cannot serve some of a product's reviews, the product's summary says so; a later run adds the ones
  that are missing.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** It collects public reviews shown to any visitor. Reviewer names and avatars are not collected. Check
the rules that apply to your use of the data.

**What if the run is restarted by the platform (migration or reboot)?** It resumes where it was: reviews already in the
dataset are not delivered or charged again.

**Does the Actor send anything to Quarra?** Only when a run fails or runs out of time: the Actor, its build, the error
type, the line of our code where it happened, and the memory and time the run was given, so we can fix it fast. Never
your input, your results, your account or the run ID.
