## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## YouTube Channel Business Email Finder

Get the public **business contact email** of YouTube channels, together with basic channel stats.
Paste channel URLs, `@handles` or channel IDs and get one row per channel back.
**You pay only for emails found.** Channels without a business email cost nothing.

### What it does

YouTube creators can list a business email on their channel's About page for sponsorship and
partnership enquiries. This Actor looks that email up for each channel you give it and returns:

- the business email, when the channel has one
- the channel name, handle and channel ID
- subscriber count, total views and number of videos
- the channel's country, when it is public

Typical uses: influencer outreach, sponsorship prospecting, building creator lists for a campaign,
and enriching a list of channels you already have.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `channels` | List of YouTube channels, one per line, up to 1,000 per run. |

Each line can be any of these:

- a channel URL: `https://www.youtube.com/@MrBeast`, `https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA`, `https://www.youtube.com/c/name`, `https://www.youtube.com/user/name`
- an `@handle`: `@MrBeast`
- a channel ID: `UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA`

Duplicates are removed. Video links, playlists and other websites are returned as `INVALID_INPUT`
at no charge.

Example input:

```json
{
  "channels": [
    "@MrBeast",
    "https://www.youtube.com/@TheDiaryOfACEO",
    "UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA"
  ]
}
```

### Output

One dataset row per channel. You can download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or
read them through the Apify API.

```json
{
  "Query": "@MrBeast",
  "ChannelId": "UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA",
  "ChannelHandle": "@MrBeast",
  "ChannelName": "MrBeast",
  "Email": "business@example.com",
  "Status": "EMAIL_AVAILABLE",
  "SubscriberCount": 400000000,
  "Country": "US",
  "TotalViews": 80000000000,
  "TotalVideosCount": 900,
  "FetchedAt": "2026-10-09T12:00:00.000Z",
  "Note": null
}
```

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `Query` | The channel exactly as you entered it. |
| `ChannelId` | YouTube channel ID (`UC...`). |
| `ChannelHandle` | The channel's `@handle`. |
| `ChannelName` | Display name of the channel. |
| `Email` | Business email, filled only when `Status` is `EMAIL_AVAILABLE`. |
| `Status` | Result for this channel, see below. |
| `SubscriberCount` | Number of subscribers. |
| `Country` | Country listed on the channel, if any. |
| `TotalViews` | Total views across the channel's videos. |
| `TotalVideosCount` | Number of public videos. |
| `FetchedAt` | When the email was last checked on YouTube. |
| `Note` | Why a row has no data, when that applies. |

#### Status values

| Status | Meaning | Charged? |
|---|---|---|
| `EMAIL_AVAILABLE` | A business email was found and is in `Email`. | Yes, one email |
| `EMAIL_NOT_FOUND` | The channel does not list a business email. | No |
| `EMAIL_PENDING` | The email could not be confirmed yet. Try this channel again later. | No |
| `INVALID_INPUT` | The line is not a YouTube channel URL, `@handle` or channel ID. | No |
| `NOT_PROCESSED` | The channel was not looked up in this run (see `Note`). | No |

### Pricing

This Actor uses **pay per event** pricing: you are charged a fixed price **per email found**
(the `email` event; see the price on the Pricing tab). Rows without an email
(`EMAIL_NOT_FOUND`, `EMAIL_PENDING`, `INVALID_INPUT`, `NOT_PROCESSED`) are free.

Example: you look up 100 channels and 40 of them list a business email. You pay for 40 emails.

#### Spending limit

If you set a maximum cost per run, the Actor looks up only as many channels as your limit can pay
emails for and tells you so in the log. Channels beyond the limit are returned as `NOT_PROCESSED`
and are not charged. Raise the limit or split your list across runs to look up more.

### Tips

- Larger lists take longer. If a run hits its timeout before the lookup finishes, you are not charged
  for unfinished channels; run it again with a longer timeout.
- Channels are matched by URL, `@handle` or channel ID, so you can mix formats in one list.
- Use the Apify API or integrations (Make, Zapier, Google Sheets, webhooks) to feed channel lists in
  and send results to your CRM.

### Is it legal?

This Actor only returns information that channel owners publish for business contact. Use it in line
with YouTube's terms and with privacy and anti-spam laws that apply to you (for example GDPR and
CAN-SPAM): contact creators about relevant business offers and honour opt-out requests.

### Support

Found a problem or need a feature? Open an issue on the Issues tab and include the run ID.
