## Pricing

from $1.49 / 1,000 events

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Play Events & Offers Scraper

Pull the live **events and offers** block from public Google Play app pages. Mobile marketing and LiveOps teams use it to see what a competitor is running this week: a seasonal event, a crossover, a coupon, or a countdown, with the banner and the link.

Give the Actor one or more app URLs such as `https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roblox.client&hl=en&gl=us`. It returns one dataset row per event. No Google account is required. The pages are the same ones a shopper sees in a browser.

### What can this Google Play events scraper do?

- Read the public **Events & offers** section on an app page.
- Capture the event title, timing badge (for example "Ends in 2 days"), and subtitle.
- Save the event banner and the event page link.
- Attach the app name and app id so a batch of competitors stays easy to filter.
- Limit results per app with `maxItems`.
- Run on a schedule and export JSON, CSV, or Excel through Apify.

One popular game often shows one to three live events. Pass several app URLs in one run to cover a whole competitive set. A handful of top games is enough to clear ten events.

### What data can you extract?

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| title | Event or offer headline |
| badge | Timing or status, such as an end date |
| subtitle | Extra line under the headline, when Play shows one |
| imageUrl | Banner image |
| appName / appId | The app the event belongs to |
| eventUrl / appUrl | Play links for the event and the app |

### How to scrape Google Play events

1. Open the Actor and keep the sample game URLs, or paste your own Play app links.
2. Set **Maximum items** per app. The default is 5, which covers a normal events shelf.
3. Leave the proxy off unless a run is blocked.
4. Start the run. Download the dataset or call the Apify API.

`hl` and `gl` on the URL control language and store country. Use the same pair you want to monitor, because event copy and timing follow that storefront.

### Use cases

- Track a rival game's LiveOps calendar without opening Play every morning.
- Spot crossovers and limited-time modes before they trend.
- Collect coupon and sale offers shown on the app page.
- Compare event cadence across a portfolio of your own titles.
- Feed a weekly competitive brief for a UA or product team.
- Archive banners for a creative swipe file.
- Alert when a watched app has a new event link.
- Build a history of seasonal events for forecasting.
- Check a storefront in another language by changing `hl` and `gl`.
- Hand the dataset to a sheet, a warehouse, or an internal dashboard.

### Pricing

You pay per event exported. App pages with no events shelf do not add rows. Platform usage is separate when the listing is billed as pay per event plus usage.

### FAQ

**Does this need a Google login?** No. Only public app pages are read.

**Why is an app missing events?** Play shows the shelf only while something is live. An empty shelf produces no rows for that URL.

**Can I pass a package name alone?** Use a full `play.google.com` app URL that includes `id`.
