## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Scraper: Remote OK, Jobicy, Arbeitnow

Get current remote jobs from **Remote OK**, **Jobicy** and **Arbeitnow** in one clean format: title, company, location, salary range, job type, seniority, categories, posting date, job link and the full description as plain text.

Filter by title keywords, location and posting date, or take everything. The data comes from the sites' own public job APIs: no browser, no login, no proxies. A full run over all three sites (about 1,800 jobs) takes under a minute.

### What you can do with it

- **Remote job boards and newsletters**: a daily feed of new remote roles, ready for your site, a Slack channel or an email digest.
- **Job search automation**: get only the roles you care about ("data engineer" in "Europe", posted in the last day) on a schedule.
- **Salary research**: Jobicy publishes a salary range on more than half of its jobs, Remote OK on about a quarter.
- **Hiring market research**: which companies hire remotely, for which roles and seniority.

### Sites

| Site | What you get |
| --- | --- |
| Remote OK | The latest ~100 jobs, with tags and (often) a yearly USD salary range |
| Jobicy | Every job published in the last 7 days (about 1,300), with seniority, category and salary range |
| Arbeitnow | Jobs in Europe, mostly Germany; remote ones by default, all with *Remote jobs only* off |

### Input

```json
{
    "sources": ["remoteok", "jobicy", "arbeitnow"],
    "titleKeywords": ["engineer", "developer"],
    "locations": ["USA", "Worldwide"],
    "postedWithinDays": 1,
    "maxJobsPerSource": 0,
    "includeDescription": true
}
```

All filters are optional. Title keywords and locations match if any of the texts appear (case-insensitive).

### Output

One row per job, the same fields for every site (fields a site does not publish are `null`):

```json
{
    "source": "jobicy",
    "id": "158379",
    "title": "Senior Director of Engineering",
    "companyName": "ŌURA",
    "companyLogo": "https://jobicy.com/data/server-nyc0409/galaxy/mercury/2026/07/011c99434cd6-221.webp",
    "location": "USA",
    "remote": true,
    "employmentType": "Full-Time",
    "seniority": "Director",
    "categories": ["Software Engineering"],
    "salaryMin": 212500,
    "salaryMax": 308000,
    "salaryCurrency": "USD",
    "salaryPeriod": "yearly",
    "postedAt": "2026-11-01T18:19:23+00:00",
    "url": "https://jobicy.com/jobs/158379-senior-director-of-engineering",
    "applyUrl": "https://jobicy.com/jobs/158379-senior-director-of-engineering",
    "description": "Our mission at ŌURA is to empower every person to own their inner potential...",
    "scrapedAt": "2026-11-05T19:18:18+00:00"
}
```

### Pricing

$1.00 per 1,000 jobs. No extra charge for descriptions or filters.

### Tips

- To get only new jobs every day, schedule the Actor with *Posted within (days)* = 1 and connect an integration (Slack, email, Google Sheets, webhook).
- **Publishing the jobs?** All three sites ask you to credit them: show the site's name and link each job to its `url`, and keep the apply button pointing to `applyUrl` unchanged.
- Company career pages on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby: use our [ATS Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/rakish_bobby_gwr/ats-jobs-scraper).

### Disclaimer

This Actor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Remote OK, Jobicy or Arbeitnow. It only collects publicly available data from their public APIs; make sure your use complies with their terms and the applicable laws.

# Actor input Schema

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Remote OK: the latest ~100 jobs. Jobicy: every job of the last 7 days (about 1,300). Arbeitnow: jobs in Europe, mostly Germany (remote ones by default).

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Only jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive), for example "engineer", "designer" or "customer support". Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Only jobs whose location contains any of these texts, for example "USA", "Europe", "UK" or "Worldwide". Remote OK often leaves the location empty, so those jobs are dropped by this filter.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Remote OK and Jobicy list only remote jobs. Turn this off to also get Arbeitnow's on-site jobs.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs published in the last N days. 0 means no limit.

## `maxJobsPerSource` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs from each site, newest first. 0 means all.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Full description as plain text. Turn off for smaller results.
